don,t even try this place owner is very rude not helpful i send my driver to fix my truck he spend there all night he came this moring i ask him some quesions about parts he was very rude so don,t waste your time and money to this place
My experience over the years with Doody's Repair Shop has been EXCEPTIONAL. One time i had a break line go on my truck while driving through Fayetteville Mall. After i called Doody's for help, a roll back was there to pick it up in less than 45 minutes! To me that was EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE.
YESTERDAY I was traveling on Route 81 then suddenly my tire was loosing pressure very quickly. I pulled off at the nearest exit, and again called Doody's. A rollback appeared in less than 30 minutes. I don't know what more anyone could ask for when it comes SERVICE.
Did I experience some wit and humor in the conversation...absolutely and I loved it.
I have a classic 1980 AMC Jeep CJ7, and these guys are the only ones who could figure out what was going on with it. Old school mechanics who diagnose the problem, and don't just swap out parts because a computer told them to.
I saw a negative review by someone, and while they may not have fake smiling overly happy customer service, they're a small town, mom and pop shop that is going to do a great job. If you need a sparkly, modern shop where everyone wears clean, matching uniforms, this is not your place to go. If you want old school mechanic that can fix anything, at a reasonable price, this is the place.
I do not understand how other reviews talk about how great staff was. Unfortunately I did not have that experience, everyone was absolutely rude. Not approachable at all. I kept trying to approach workers and owner with questions about service and they did not seem to care at all, avoiding to answer questions. Very disappointed. Also, some other customers were speaking Spanish and the staff seemed bothered by them, seemed very racist. Can’t believe it’s 2025 and still a lot of racism around. There was a lot going on, everything was wrong.
These guys are amazing replacing the exhaust system on my car and getting the inspection done. Thankyou so much ? I will bring my vehicle for future service.
Professional, efficient, and fair prices. I don't trust anyone else to care for my vehicles. I've had bad experiences with all the other shops in Tully. Thanks Doody's team!!
Doody Brothers garage are the most reliable, honest mechanics, you'll ever find anywhere. If you've been looking for a place to take your vehicle for repairs, this is the only place I trust.
Walt from Doody Brothers towed our car and they charged $250 to take it 8 miles. He was rude and refused to tow it to a dealership. They didn't tell us what the price would be or give any information. He just took the car and told us to call them in the morning. Very unprofessional and I would never use them again.
Called them was told that he doesn't know how much it will cost to tow my truck i said it will not work that way i he hung up on me...during these times attitude should be put aside.
The gentlemen there were very kind and did an excellent job of fixing my Dads Chevvy Tahoe which needed the break lines replaced. They were also able to find and fix an issue with the vehicle which happened to be a problem with the break caliper (separate issue to the break lines). The Doody Brothers are honest and hard working men who definitely know a thing or two about motor vehicles. The reason why they're getting a 4 star out of 5, is mainly because when I entered the building one of them was smoking which didn't smell very nice in my opinion.
