the one manager ben is real nasty to ppl. i was in a situation tht was out of my control because someone who basically stole my car dropped my car off there and i dnt even live there i live in PA and they sent me a pic and location i tlk to them one day they was ok for me to come get it friday next day he threaten to have my shit towed. like i get it is a business and they have things going on but he was not tryn to be understanding of my situation and the fact that i only knew one person in ny made it really hard and they couldnt move it last night cause it was dead and he didnt care and come to find out he is not even the one who calls the shots he jus wanted to be nasty to me but when i had my friend call he handle it and talk to someone above him and it was ok for it to sit there i literally had to pay 200$ to have it moved safely because i was gone get inpound fees and everything which would of cost me way more cause i would of had to let it sit til like monday or next weekend because most inpound places not open on weekends
I was looking for a product asked one of the Manager's hoping she would help me out but she was rude to start off with rolling her eyes when I approached her to ask where a product was then got told "I don't know, You're gonna have togo down Isle 2 they are there somewhere. I'm not sure" then I asked another guy and they were right in front of me at the checkout counter so I'm not sure if she knew what job she applied for but the Customer Support wasn't what I was expecting when I was on-the-go in a hurry. I will never goto this location again. Herkimer is now my goto spot for any car part accessory or Harbor Freight where the male Associate recommended me togo to.
We went to hard back home for a 3 day drive back to Texas after visiting family and our vehicle battery was dead. A neighbor jumped the car and we went straight to auto zone for a new battery. We had zero tools since we were traveling but Jay and Soup graciously changed out the battery for us! Super grateful to them for their help in getting us on the road headed home! Truly great employees!!!
Stopped in on June 29 , my car needed a new battery and Lisa the store manager offered to put it in. Mind you it was extremely hot outside , I have never had such excellent customer service . Will never go anywhere else.

Awesome store and great staff! Came in to get a battery tested and ended up asking about a part for one of my terminals. They helped me find the part, a new battery, and even installed the battery!
I went to the New Hartford location to buy a new break light for my car and to see if they could help me install it. They said they had not offered this service since early covid, even though I knew they did since they had helped me previously. I instead called the Yorkville location and Dez helped me no problem. Changing the light took less than 5 minutes and he had great customer service overall. Very happy with my experience here today!
Brought in a brand new battery, scuffed it up a little bit and used some contact grease. Tested by AAA, the battery was good.
Evidently they didn't bother trying to charge it, but they tried to sell me a new one. Can't recommend them for dishonesty.
This location of AutoZone was quite helpful in explaining the right bulb for my car. Plus he came out and walked me through the process of installation of the bulb. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had in a long time.
Depends on which one you got to honestly. Sometimes you can have great assistance or you may have a not so good experience of no one helping you . Lucky for me I used to work for auto zone so I tend to get in and out cuz I know what I need lol
My battery died around 7:30 pm on a Friday night. By the time I got a friend to jump me it was 8:15 pm. I called one of your competitors and was told that there was no way I could get my battery changed that night. I showed up to AutoZone in Yorkville, NY and Robert said he would change my battery no problem. He changed it out in no time and made sure everything was working ok and I was on my way by 8:45 pm. Robert did a great job and had no hesitation in waiting on us. I will never go anywhere else for my auto parts needs in the future!!
Great service, honest opinion, what more can you ask? It's a pleasure to have someone you ask a question and they know what they are saying! Only bought one item, but it was a good experience I will definitely go back to this store! And you should too...
Could not be more pleased with the service at this autozone. After multiple negative experiences at other locations, it was nice to deal with staff members who were there to help me deal with my bad alternator, rather than just sell me something.
I ordered sensors for my car and it took 3 days to receive them from another local store. Not worth the trip to go there anymore. I try not to give bad reports but this was ridiculous.
Worst experience at an Autozone I have ever had! I only went to this particular store becausr the Rome, NY store didn't have the part I needed in stock. Customer service was beyond sub par. Management was clueless as to how to rectify my issue. Instead of putting more effort into trying to rectify the issue, he continually placed blame on other employees. Acted like he didnt even want to be bothered. When I asked for the contact number for corporate, he didnt have any idea where to find it. I ended up finding the information myself. End state, I will NEVER go to this store again!
AutoZone is my favorite all the time but I wish if they also offer more variety of brands especially the globally known as good brands especially for tool because I repeatedly broke any Duralst tool.
Generally knowledgable staff, but some things you might want to double check, like which parts to order. If you get a nice worker who has a minute, and the bulb or whatever is easy to access, they'll put a light or a battery in for you. They do free battery checks as well. It depends on the part if they're cheaper than Advanced Auto, I recommend calling them both before you buy.
Very nice place to go all the guys there are very knowledgeable they stare you in the right direction when you're trying to find something quickly they're very friendly and they always have the part you need at the spur of the moment in stock
I've been going to AutoZone for over a year now for parts for me and my family. They are always helpful, both here and in Rome, NY. Would rather go here then to Advance. They don't know their stuff as well as the people at AutoZone do. Great service and prices.
