This is the best place in elmira. I went to two shops, and one said they couldn't fix it, the other said it would be 1300. I went here, it was fixed in 20mins, and ended up paying under a 100.
Travis Auto is a family run business who genuinely care about their customers. Awesome staff. Quality workmanship with honesty. Very hard to find these days. They have a quick turn around for your vehicle. I highly recommend them!
They are getting way to expensive, I went thefir brakes and spent 3000 for then a year later went for a inspection and cost 57 dollars. 21 for the inspection and 37 for a bulb, 20 was labor for changing it. I'm so done with this place !!!!
They told my father he needed a new transmission on his f150 and $5k+ later it was worse than before. Took it back and they found nothing wrong. Today it spontaneously shifted into first on me while driving at highway speeds. Try that one for excitement! Maybe it's Ford's fault, not Travis auto, but I'm taking it straight to my own mechanic and we'll get to the bottom of it. Meanwhile I'm hedging my review with a neutral 3 stars.
Found out about Travis since they work on the fleet that the company I work for operates. Brought my Infiniti in due to a myriad of issues. They were able to pin point the various problems, called me about the cost, updated me on the progress of the repair, etc. After the repair my 2011 Infiniti ran butter smooth, no more shaking, rattling, leaking, etc. It's really hard to find a honest mechanic that does decent work around this area. I've been to a lot of them and none of them seem to do better than Travis. Highly recommend and seem to be very experienced.
I was recommended by a friend to come here, and im a so glad I did! The team there is great and will help you fix or find any issue! Tracy helped me find the route of the problem with my vehicle and fixed it! I also got a muffler delete, and my truck sounds great. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Thank you, guys!
Took a week for them to work on it. Overpriced me on parts and made excuses for not getting the repairs done right away. Wouldn’t suggest taking it there when his workers won’t even show up to do their job. Owner didn’t take initiative to call me to let me know what had to be done so I had to call him. Not very good service when your customers have to call you about repairs.
Travis Auto is Amazing! They are professional and truly care about their customers. They keep you up to date on what's going on with your vehicle. Their prices are extremely fair and I feel beat many others. They definitely will be keeping me as a customer.
Recently got out of the military and moved back to the area and still had winter tires on my car. They were able to hook me with up with new tires ordered delivered mounted and balanced in under 24 hours. Would highly recommend to anybody needing work done to their vehicle.
This is the only place I'll go to get my car serviced. Before I met Travis I was taking my car all over New York to try and solve a stalling nightmare. I was debating whether to buy a new vehicle or not since I couldn't take mine anywhere without the engine shutting off on me while driving. I actually looked at and test drove a car that I was going to purchase the day before my appointment with Travis because I was sick of dumping money into something that wouldn't run. After delivering my car to Travis the next day, he had my car and was able to solve my cars stalling problem that no other mechanic could figure out and saved me from having to purchase a new vehicle. Travis is a very honest and hardworking man who is extremely experienced in his field. Now that my stalling problem has been resolved, I have had Travis do bodywork on my car multiple times and my car now looks brand new for a 2013. I recommend Travis Auto to everyone I come in contact with.
