Like all best buys absolutely miserable. They don't sell anything useful and they just tell you to go online whenever you need something. Also overpriced. Save the trouble and go on amazon if you can.

I had spotty internet service for the last few weeks and after Spectrum Time Warner assured me that my internet was working fine, I knew it had to be laptop related. I popped into Best Buy knowing that I was looking for a laptop reasonably priced without all the proverbial "bells and whistles". I want to give a special shout out to Aaron and Devon, who were both so extremely professional and helpful. I appreciated that neither one of them tried to "upsell" me and they were both extremely patient during my decision-making process. I left with an HP Chrome 14" laptop. So far, so good. My internet is working beautifully so fingers crossed!

I was running all around the city to find an adapter for my iPhone that would connect to my headphones. I just made a return at target who did not have it in stock but was quickly met Misael would greeted me right away and helped me find the item I was looking for that was in my budget. I am happy I get to listen to music again and glad Best Buy was here for me in this moment. Korbin at the register was very professional too. Thank you guys!

Now certain products you have to scan a QR code and then they bring it to the counter for you to pickup. I do not know why they made something so simple, so complicated. The employees were all confused and didn’t know what to do. It took forever for them to get an iPhone charging cable and plug.

I ordered a 75 inch TCL TV that I researched for a long time and bought a specific stand for the TV pedestal. Installer called late in my delivery time window and said that he installed my TV by mistake at the previous appt he had. He was very disrespectful, nasty, unpleasant, and abusive that I would not take the other customer's cheaper different TV brand instead. Installer made me feel that I'm the problem and it's my fault. I have been a best buy customer since the 80's and have bought all electronics and appliances (TV's laptop, refrigerators, etc) from best buy. I am cutting my best buy credit card and cancelling the order. I took the day off for this botched delivery & installation and not getting paid too, installer chastised me for taking the day off - it's my fault again. He made the big mistake but it's not and never his fault. He refused be held accountable for his serious error. I have cancer treatment all of next week and won't be available for re-schedule delivery. Dealing with installer has been surreal and a never ending nightmare. I am cancelling this order and never ever dealing with best buy again.

Best Buy in Union Sq is THE PLACE to shop, thanks to the great customer service especially by JB who REALLY WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to help me choose the case for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The rest of the staff is very helpful because no matter whom I asked for help they were all very friendly. Even their return policy has changed in such a way as to make it SO MUCH EASIER to want to come back to Best Buy and shop again. Best Buy has come a long way with huge improvements both at the customer service level and also the inventory and prices.

I scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad well in advance to repair the back of my iPhone, checked in on time, and then waited almost an hour—only to be told they don’t even fix iPhone backs. Really? That should’ve been made clear upfront instead of wasting my time. If it’s not a service they provide, it shouldn’t even be listed as an option on the website.

Honestly terrible and insensitive service from the top down. From customer service being of no help to the elderly and disabled to the rude manager Ana approaching situations aggressively and misleading customer service when she called. Even when I was there to offer the facts of the order situation she failed to relay the appropriate information to get the situation resolved. I asked to speak to another manager and she turned to the other and said “it’s like the customer is not understanding.” Highly unprofessional especially when she couldn’t be of any help!

I had a really bad experience here last month. I always went to this best buy for years but my last experience here was terrible. They was trying to hustle me. I wanted to buy a laptop. I saw one for a good price that I can afford. Not too expensive. And they kept pushing me into buying the expensive ones. I didn't even have the money for a expensive laptop. I kept telling them no I want this laptop. And they wouldn't stop pressuring me. Also I was waiting at the aisle for 30 to 40 minutes. I kept telling every worker there to help me. Nobody came until I finally complained and that's when they showed up. Really bad service here.

We had a complicated return that was not well documented. We bought a refurbished laptop which the screen had a line down it. We sent it in for a warranty exchange and got a new laptop 4 weeks later. The new laptop broke within a few days as well so we went in to return it only to discover there was no documentation on my account that we’d exchanged the laptop. After calls with customer support and a lot of back and forth and then finally some help from Jack and Angela we were able to get it resolved and get the return. We can’t thank them enough for their help!

A top 500 company that has no idea what they are doing. Bought a Tv+mount+delivery & installation thinking this would go easy and smooth (as it should when you pay the price). I took the day off to have the installation team come, just to realize the mount sold to me was too small for the TV. At first I wanted to swap the mount for a bigger one but I haven’t been able to for three days as it is « still in transit ». After three days of aero solutions given by their customer service humans and robots, I finally caved and asked for a return on the entire purchase. They still cannot begin this process as the package is still in « transit ». What a poorly run operations. A shame. I will never shop at Best Buy in my life ever again

Worst customer service. I went in today with my charger and my computer for a new charger. I showed the charger to the employee, who sold me an overpriced charger, claiming it would work. I just got home and none of the adaptaters works with my laptop. Thanks so much for making me spend my whole day on the train !

I usually head to this Best Buy for trading cards after work but it’s a hit or miss and I don’t mean if there’s any trading cards available, I mean depending on which Best Buy employee is there to offer help. Some employees are biased towards those who collect and don’t offer assistance ordering product online or searching nearby stores in the area that have them available. Usually I get an employee at the checkout who seems very sad to be at their job. Today, I was fortunate enough to have the cards I wanted at this Best Buy location and another employee grabbed 2 from the back after the person I was with could not “find” it and upon checking out, he scanned 1 and I told him that I would like 2 but the employee said it’s 1 per customer. I go to this Best Buy frequently and there’s always a 2 per person limit. The entire time this employee whose name I didn’t catch but could be described as a Spanish chubby gentleman with glasses, had an “I hate my life” face. Moving forward, Best Buy needs to have a limit per item sign at the check out because I went downstairs to another employee and asked him what was the quantity for my item and he said that “honestly it’s changes all the times based on who’s at the check out” what.

I have never had such a horrible experience with Best Buy before in my life. I purchased a MacBook Air and AirPods with 1 hour store pickup since one of the items was on sale and I was worried about how much stock they would have in store. I walked in after an hour to check if the order was ready and after checking my ID they told me I needed to return. I reached out to customer support after 2 hours who said it would be ready. I’m walked back into the store at 7:30 pm and was told for the first time there was a verification hold and one of the ladies working there helped to start the process. I waited for another hour (after I was approved) with no resolution. With 30 min to closing I cancelled my order and repurchased in the store. This is an insanely ridiculous process. The lady working there kindly gave me a discount for the experience but I will not be coming back to this location. Please consider updating the “1-hour in store pickup” as it’s extremely misleading

Best Buy sucks. Placed an order to pickup at Chelsea 23rd & 6th. Was not available at the time promised by the sales chap who lied. Tried to cancel on the app and was told I could collect it from Union Square before 9. Still no confirmation by email that I can pickup. This chain is run by a bunch of clowns. Avoid! Order #BBY01-807081451082 Update: Tommy, there is nothing to chat about. If you guys are running a decent setup, deliver the order. You have the order number and I’m sure you have my name and contact details. I dnt think we need to get to know each other beyond this.

Jack at the 14th Street store was incredibly helpful! He went above and beyond to make sure I found the right camera battery and charger. Great customer service — give this guy a raise! Sabrina (I hope I got that right) was also fantastic at the pick-up desk! She was very helpful answering my questions and allowed me to test the product before purchasing. The reason I deducted a star was due to false advertising of the product I originally purchased. The battery stated online that it would support my camera while the reviews stated this was false. I went ahead and trusted the customer service representative that I spoke to on the phone and placed the pick-up order. Jack and Sabrina were a huge huge help to me who knows very little about cameras! They were quick to help me while managing to multitask and help other customers at the same time. I went from being frustrated to very pleased with my experience. Thank you Jack and Sabrina!

Customer Feedback – Best Buy Store Visit I recently visited Best Buy with a clear idea of the product I wanted to purchase. Upon entering, I had a look around to try and locate the item myself. After searching without success, I came across a staff member named Santi, who briefly pointed toward the Apple section and told me I would find the product there. When I reached the Apple area, I again tried to locate the item but had no luck. Still actively trying to find help, I unintentionally stepped slightly into an area that was apparently restricted—though this wasn’t clearly marked or cordoned off. At that moment, Santi came all the way from the section he was in (quite a distance away) just to loudly tell me I wasn’t supposed to be there. I want to emphasize that this was the second time he saw me clearly in need of help. Despite that, he made the effort to come across the store to reprimand me—but not to assist me. His tone was unnecessarily confrontational, and the interaction left me feeling distressed and uncomfortable. Thankfully, I later encountered a kind and helpful staff member in the phone section who immediately offered assistance. She walked over to the Mac area with me and helped me complete my purchase quickly and professionally—something I really appreciated after the earlier experience. I also asked to speak with the manager. After some time, someone arrived without a name tag or clear identification. While she did listen to my concerns, her only response was, “I’m really sorry this happened,” which felt dismissive and lacked any real acknowledgment or follow-up. This visit left me feeling disappointed and unsettled during what should have been a simple shopping trip. I hope this feedback contributes to improved customer support and better communication in the future.

The store is nice and clean, but I can’t say I enjoyed the shopping experience. We were interested in an action camera and approached the counter to ask about it. The staff member immediately went to the back and brought out a new unit, but didn’t offer any product explanation or ask about our needs. Instead, she held very tightly onto the box with both arms the entire time and simply asked whether we wanted to buy it — no demo, no specs, no engagement. We didn’t even get to look closely at the product even its packaging until after we paid and got the receipt. Buying a camera is a relatively big purchase — especially one with many features and use cases — so the lack of introduction or willingness to answer questions felt strange and disappointing. We left feeling rushed and somewhat pressured into buying something we didn’t fully understand. Definitely not the kind of customer service we expected.

The prices are good. But I bought a laptop to pick up here in one hour. I needed it urgently. Two hours later the laptop wasn't available, and not even the manager knew when would it arraive. Do not trust the pickup time, in this store it simply does not work.

I lost my phone so I need to buy a new one. I planned to try to pay in installments but when I checked out I paid in full. This is good! This store is always busy. The products are very good and cheap.

They have their days when service is good and everyone appears to be helpful but then there are times I can't get someome to give me the time of day. I had workers walk past me when I'm trying to ask a question. There are times I will see a female worker standing at the top of the escalator waiting to greet customers and asking if we need any assistance. It's a mix bag there. I hope they get things together as a uniformed team.

I bought an open box iPad m4 pro 11 in excellent condition. The item was supposed to be ready for pick up in an hour Atlantic terminal of course it was not ready in an hour and then I see on the app that the item is being shipped to the store so I changed it to shipping to my house.I received the item with no charger or cable but thought it was not a problem! I went on to Use it until I found the one terabyte version on Amazon for a comparable price so I want to return this item to the Best Buy at Union Square NYC presented item To the Best Buy employee and upfront, I told her It did not come with charger She escalated it to somebody named Vivian or Viviana Who refused to accept my return without a charger? I explained it came without the charger. She was checking the sticker to check if there is notes, of course did not believe me, which was kind of insulting especially since a lot of the open boxes in excellent condition items I bought from Best Buy came for the wrong chargers or missing cables. She proceeded to print a return label for me and asked me to ship it back and god drop it off at staples location and stated once they get it I should get the money in 5 to 7 business days or something to that sort. The item was delivered and now the app is telling me it can take up to a month to issue my refund. I did a specifically ask this Viviana lady and tell her I would not be renewing my members plus subscription which is due May 27 based on the experience and many other -ones. Her response was simply OK. I understand. such a waste of time And energy and zero respect for customers, integrity, loyalty, and obviously time! I’ve always wanted to stay at Best Buy but I have never seen a company. Who is customer service employees push you away as if it was scripted. Now I have to sit there and wait and miss out on getting my refund in time to buy the one terabyte version for that discounted price. I almost forgot the Best Buy store clerk or representative said one thing the app says different thing and the Best Buy messaging says a certain thing. 1 said 5 to seven business days The app says 10 days to see if it’s approved or not and then 10 business days to issue your refund and the Best Buy messaging says 5 to 20 days to approve or not! Such a waste of time such terrible customer service

I’ve always loved Best Buy and will continue to support them, but this location fell a little short. I understand they’re always understaffed and that’s wrong and most of the time customer service is decent. But sometimes, when you ask for help, staff either don’t know what you’re asking or don’t try to help at all. I came in to pick up an item the app said was available. I couldn’t find it, so I asked customer service. The rep said, “If it shows one in stock, we probably don’t have it,” and didn’t bother to check. I was left standing there awkwardly. I then oder it online and About 13 minutes later, I got a pickup notification — the item was there to be picked up. I’m not asking for perfection, just a little effort. A simple check would’ve made a big difference. Still a Best Buy fan, but I hope to see better customer service next time.

Polite staff. 3. 10% discount bought 2 Samsung 75 TVs, as a gift for the Temple as a Donation. 4. Prices below market, convenient payment installments. 5. I recommend I will buy more goods here.
