If you’d like to get the absolute worst customer service experience available in NYC…definitely go here. It will make every other situation where you thought you were getting bad customer service, so much better. Seriously..it’s shocking how so many employees working at the same time seem to be trained to either ignore customers or just be flat out rude to them…including the store manager. It’s a top down thing Best Buy…you should pay attention.

Always solid service here! The staff is helpful and actually knows their stuff — whether you’re looking for a new laptop, headphones, or the latest TV, they make the process easy. The store’s clean, organized, and you can usually find great deals if you check the open-box section. It gets busy sometimes (it’s New York after all), but they handle it well.

Bought a TV online open box in excellent condition. It didn't come with the remote or stand it should come with. Employee giving it to me also didnt verify that it was the correct product. The employee who grabbed the TV claimed he checked it. Brought it 50 blocks home just for it to be completely unusable.

Best Buy W 23rd St. Great service from Alex!! Very knowledgeable,helped us select a TV, Sound bar system and even helped us load the car!! can’t thank him enough. Amazing guy and highly recommend this store.

Very big store. Yet it looks like the variety of the producrs is pretty same no matter what size is a store, so if some product you're looking for is missing in one branch, it's more likely it will be missing in other as well. Also the prices are exactly the same even in different states (we've been in Best Buy in New York and in New Jersey). Yet, the stuff is more helpfull.

I have been buying in best buy over 20 years, this is probably the worst best buy with worst customer service. I had protection plan for my insta360, len broke, I went here for replacement. They said they can't replace the lens but they can replace the camera with new one, only if I give the camera with everything came with the camera. I bought this camera over a year ago, I don't have the charging cable or pouch anymore. Technically I am not exchanging, just was trying to use my protection plan to fix the lens. They tried there best to reject my claim, and refused to provide fix or replacement. I went to different store, they took care of it without asking any question.

Do Not Buy anything from here!!!! Bought a MacBook and an apple watch online and came to this store to collect. The watch was not available for pickup. Spent 30 min with the staff trying to reason and get the issue sorted. Joaquin C who claimed to be the manager was unhelpful, rude and refused to take responsibility for BestBuy or even for his colleagues in customer service. Told me that what I heard from the customer service was wrong and he could not help me. Walked away when I pointed out that he was absolutely of no help! Refused to give me his full name or his ID. Stay away from buying or collecting anything from here Update in response to the generic comment below: 1. You need to train your customer service to be polite 2. You need to train your sales people to not lie. I was told to go to the store even ahead of the 1 hour time (and not wait) as there was stock 3. Your people need to own up for the Company 4. You need to have more people in you call centre handling customers who have bought products than people to sell stuff. You seem like a fly by night operator at best. Spare me the suggested social media “follow” nonsense

Best Buy reported a missed payment even though I’m on auto-pay with a $0 balance, dropping my credit score by 80 points. Completely unacceptable — I do not recommend doing business with them.

Even if not crowded, service is real bad here. You cant get anyone to help you out. Was there for 30 min willing to do a big buy and they decided not to help out. Sale will go somewhere else.

HORRBILE. i recently bought an computer here ASUS G700 listed with a 16GB RTX5060 (it had an 8GB RTX 5060) which i then found out that there isn't a 16GB RTX 5060. best buy knowingly listed and falsely advertised and sold a product that does not exist. what followed was a 2 hour conversation filled with excuses and false solutions such as bringing my computer in so they can put an RTX5060 Ti 16GB in, which it turns out (They do not have). so to summarize. Consumer Fraud, False Advertisement, Mislabeling, falsely labeled product. any lawyers reading this that would be interested, please reach out to me, thank you.

This seemed to be a whole lot better than the 5th Avenue store. The entrance is not that great. The real deal is downstairs. The gaming options are extensive. Loved seeing the Pixel on display and a few arcade games as well. The Apple display units could be a whole lot cleaner because Apple stores give that experience. If you'd want people to buy from here instead of the Apple outlet then that section needs to be top notch.

I really want to love Best buy. So many people have come and gone from that type of big box electronic store in the past 30 years that it's amazing these people can squeeze out a profit. However I think lately the atmosphere has gotten pretty stale and the people who generally work in Best buy are just quiet quitting.. I have not encountered a salesperson at Best buy who could give a crap if you buy something or not. Maybe it's reflected in the hourly wage? I don't know I'm just speculating. People are now buying online and this is an anomaly so I will keep patronizing Best buy. It's definitely a pinch your nose and shop experience but it's important to me that we patronize actual stores so keep your expectations in line with that. If you know what you want and they happen to have it it should be a painless experience.. if you are indecisive or don't know and are hoping a well skilled and communicative salesperson will help you through your indecisiveness, get used to disappointment..

Worse experience with Best buy. I waited 40 minutes for them to get the TV. Then they telling me they can't cancel my delivery where I can pick up my TV after store. The manager didn't even bother look at the computer. I asked if I can call Best buy customer service. He said no. That's going to take too long the worst of the worst

First item has problem and if you guys not members they don't take response and sending apple store!! second item was gift and they didn't get and said you passed 2 week and items was nice in bag they didn't help even they didn't help about change something..!! Also manager someone needs to tell the manager how to talk with customers I am customer and not your bro your are in business area and I am not your bro..!!

I had a specific camera product I needed to purchase, and the only staff who had the capability of supporting camera related customer service (I asked another staff for help and they said he was the only individual who had the ability) just told me “it’s in the camera section, it’s all over, if it’s not there it’s not.” The least he could do as a customer service personnel is to look up the product in the database or at least direct me to a shelf where it would be. Not direct me in the large vicinity of the entire camera section and return to looking at his phone. Isn’t it their job to try to sell product? Is it the staff’s incompetence or the manger who’s letter the staff behave in such way. Visited June 4 between 1:30 PM and 2 PM. Had a mask on, had dreadlocks. Apparently the only individual staffed in the camera section.

Slowest place ever. There is an employee here (wish I knew their name) who sold me my MacBook Air explicitly told me that the My Best Buy Plus membership does not automatically renew and I wouldn't be charged $50 in a year. Looked at the email receipt and it explicitly says it will auto renew in a year. Completely lied to about this membership just trying to get 50 bucks from you every year. Be careful if they try to throw in the annual membership in because they will say that it is free + are lying about the terms.

I visited this Best Buy location to check out laptops. I thought I wanted a particular brand but Markel was so helpful and listened to what my computer needs were. I didn't expect to get such a tailored recommendation from the salespeople at Best Buy. He made a great, unexpected recommendation and talked me through the options. Super helpful even though they don't work on commission.

I had a pretty frustrating experience with completing my Best Buy order at Union Square since I am of older age and had no one to assist me, so I decided to plead for help at another Best Buy with my intent to purchase. What turned everything around was a manager named Joaquin at the Chelsea Bestbuy around 23rd St. He listened with real empathy, understood the importance of the gift, and truly felt the weight of the situation. Instead of brushing it off, he found a fast and thoughtful solution that I will never forget. Thanks to him, I was able to walk out of that store with a similar gift in hand and my heart genuinely uplifted. Joaquin Couvertier deserves major recognition. His level of care and professionalism is exactly what every customer hopes to find, especially during difficult moments. I genuinely believe that Best Buy is lucky to have him on their team. His presence at your store will no doubt have a positive and lasting impact on the customer experience. Thank you again, Joaquin. You made a difference; and I will 100% fill out the Thank You Email as soon as I get it.

Not crowded. Good range of electronics etc. Online shopping gives you price comparison, features comparison. Store is necessary to check the physical quality of the product. Staff was helpful.

the employees in this best buy are the worst, nobody helped me and when they did they were in the worst mood. do not recommend. i spent more time just standing in the register than being helped. i asked for help more than 4 times to 4 different employees. they gave me a clear bag where everyone could see that i had a laptop inside, i asked for another one and not receive one. i will not come back

Look for Moises. He is the most knowledgeable and very eager to teach potential client ls anything you need to know or ask about Samsung products. He helps to recommend me a samsung S series phone that meets my needs. His product knowledge beyond average employees, it feels good to come to the store and ask for recommendation on products you want to buy. Cant recommend him enough, good and hardworking dude, you wont be disappointed.

Nice big store, not too crowded, workers are nice and helpful. They have that Magnolia part where they sell all those pricey TVs low income families so like to buy after they get those 12K tax returns. A lot of kitchen appliances. Also, you can try different headphones there, be careful of the cooties though.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS BEST BUY FOR OVER 15 YEARS, AND BACK THEN THEY HAD SOME VERY GOOD STUFF AND NOW IT IS EVEN BETTER, FIRST OFF I WOULD LIKE TO THANK A VERY VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE YOUNG MAN BY THE NAME OF JULIUS , WHO WORK IN THE APPLE COMPUTER DEPARTMENT, AND HE EXPLAINED SO MANY THINGS TO ME ABOUT MAC COMPUTERS, AS WELL AS INVERTERS ,AND SPEAKER POWER ALSO , THIS REPRESENTATIVE WAS SO INFORMATIVE, ABOUT OTHER APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS... WHEN MOST EMPLOYEES ONLY KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN THEIR DEPARTMENT..... We waited 40min before someone approached us, they were passing by us and no one asked anything until someone finally did, and when she did in 2min was able to sell lolololol When we asked her why they took so long to help us the told us “we are understaffed” but there were employees standing around the store. Anyways, I got an LG smart tv and I love it!!
