Great supermarket! Amazing alternative to Gourmet Glatt in Cedarhurst! Ample parking. Huge selection - almost as large as Gourmet Glatt in Cedarhurst. Carries almost all brands. If you are looking for a quick place to hop into and stock up this is the perfect spot!
Male staff working are very friendly and helpful, first time working there and female cashier and packer was very racist towards me cause I'm black, they just dash all my items to the side even though I walked up and said good after and was polite even while they packed my items with scorn I still said thank you they just scorn me and walked to the side not even saying a word, i would never ever shop there again because of those Hispanic Casheirs very racist
The staff here is very unwelcoming. They have zero customer service skills as far a simple good morning when you approach for assistance, or when you arrive at the register to check out. No thank you. Have a nice day. Just blank faced zombie like behavior.
Expensive. Poor selection of mehadrin strictly kosher products. Specifically, it did not have a lot of Pat Yisrael or Cholov Yisrael items. Especially in the snacks department.
Every kind of kosher food you can think of with numerous choices. Attractively presented. Some items, like meat, can be pricey. Plenty of free parking.
You don't have to keep Kosher or even be Jewish to appreciate the outstanding shopping experience this market has to offer. Most registers are open keeping the checkout lines to a minimum. Exceptional produce and dairy section. It's totally worth paying a little bit more to shop at this market!
It's a big supermarket... By far the most expensive kosher supermarket in the area. If you want to be frugal and find deals this is not the place. Tends to be busy, most likely why thier produce is generally fresh but make sure look.
Workers are very disconnect, most probably the fact they lack English skills. I tend to have to say thank you and have a nice day.
I have never seen a store where non of the cashier's say hello, thank you or have a nice day! I guess if I spoke Spanish they might be nicer. My wife and I ran a successful retail food business for 30 years. My workers would never act like that. It all comes from the top! The owners of Gourmet Ganeff don't care as long as the $$ rolls in.
I like going to this grocery store when the meters are in effect at the Cedarhurst location. It's cool that they carry most of the products that the Cedarhurst location has (but not everything), and they even have bottle return machines. It's hard to find a kosher grocery store with a free parking lot in the Five Towns.
Found most of the items I need it but had left my list at home. Will have to go back in a few days. Impressed with the variety they had of the yasso frozen yogurt, a satisfying treat and fairly healthy.
Huge store, which can be good or bad depending on what you like, but they have a tremendous selection. Glatt Kosher meats, obviously. Lol. Chicken. Great produce. Chap-A-Nosh deli counter, plus pre-pakaged. Bakery section and pre-packaged breads. Sushi. Tremendous selection of supermarket brands and products. Great dairy section. It's a great place to shop Kosher...
BUT, the PRICES and EXTREMELY HIGH! Most noticeably on the meat and chicken. Also, on a lot of the regular items on the shelves. The produce, though, appeared to be priced well.
I don't think that I will be shopping there again, in the foreseeable future. Maybe, if I needed to pick up a few things, it's fine, but I wouldn't go there for my full weekly shopping.
I was VERY IMPRESSED with the EMPLOYEES, however. The checkout clerks were courteous and helpful. Also, an employee helped me take my cart to the car and helped me load the bags! ???

this store has almost the same selection as a big brother in woodmere but less people, which make shopping more pleasurable and less time consuming, especially if u are getting off at woodmere.
Best Kosher Sushi period! Really amazing. Simply Sushi, Always Fresh. Gourmet Glatt always has fresh items on their shelf. I ordered a sushi platter and they were so helpful! Thank you for making my supermarket experience great again! Your selection of items is amazing. Your sushi is so colorful and tasty. I find so many low carb items i especilly love the no carb roll!
The parking lot is MUCH better than the other Gourmet Glatt and the store is nice, lines were quick on a Thursday evening. However, they didn't have everything I needed so I will have to visit the other store anyway ?. I think the other Gourmet Glatt has more variety because it's bigger.
A large selection of kosher products of good quality. Both meats and fresh vegetables and fruit are very fresh. Give yourself time to shop and you will be very happy with the selection s.
Disappointed with this store but for personal reasons. I'm an educator and was promised an educator discount for 2 years already. After several phone calls, numerous in-store visits, evidence of my employment, etcetera, I have yet to receive this so-called discount. I've spent thousands of dollars in the store and I'm completely eligible for this discount so I will never shop here again unless absolutely necessary
I am very disappointed in the store. I live very close and I would love to go there but disappointed.
The price for meat and veggies too high. The temperature always set above freezing until i complained. Maybe better? Strong scented bleach hit me as i walked in yesterday as the workers were mopping under customer's feet. It burned my lungs so badly i had to rush through the shopping. Music is way too loud, depressing, usually not relaxing or upbeat, but even last night so awful, sounded like horror music mixed with funeral music. Don't know what it was and the manager wasn't there. Cashiers are less than polite. Tried to call today to Spruce Street manager but 4x could not get through.

Great quality products and very clean and presentable store. This is a Kosher store, I am not Jewish myself but for those who aren't it means blessed or certified by a rabbi. Great store, recommend this to all.
Excellent selection and service at this full-service kosher supermarket. Smaller than Gourmet Glatt Cedarhurst, but has most of the same items. Hours aren't as convenient as Gourmet Glatt Cedarhurst.
