Motorcycle Towing Incident: On 11/6, after being struck by a Toyota 4-Runner that ran a stop sign, my motorcycle was towed from the scene while I was in the hospital. Jerry’s Auto/Towing picked it up and brought it to their yard in Roslyn Heights. While the employees at Jerry’s were polite, I was shocked when I went to retrieve my bike and settle the bill. The towing and storage charges for 20 days came to an outrageous $4,209.00. After some negotiation, they agreed to accept $3,200 in cash. Because the at-fault driver’s insurance company is responsible for “reasonable” towing and storage charges, I met their adjuster at Jerry’s to finalize payment so the dealership could pick up the motorcycle. Ultimately, the insurance company agreed to pay $2,700, issued in a check payable to me, which left me paying the remaining $500 out of pocket. Talk about adding insult to injury. 😞

SCAM. SCAM This place is an big SCAM and should be SHUT DOWN immediately They towed my car for 2 miles and charged outrageous fees 400 dollars And I tried to know how much the price before we start the pick up and the driver refused to tell me and he said don’t worry everything will be OK The owner was unprofessional, and clearly know they're running a shady operation. Those people will squeeze every dollar out of you. This isn't a legitimate business it's a trap I repeat It’s a trap. DO NOT let this place get away with it. They need to be investigated and closed down. STAY AWAY!

Can't say enough about Jerry's! Within the past month took the same car there for a blown tire (they had a new one and the car running within hours), and body work. That was where Jerry's blew me away. I have been taking my car there for years for tires and tire-related issues, but had no idea they do amazing body work. Car looks like new! Thank you, Jerry's. Beautiful service and extremely fast service, Both the driver and the person on the phone really good customer service. I recommend this to anybody in the world. I recommend this to anybody in the universe. I was on the phone with them. He told me that his driver was pulling up within 20 minutes. They came to my house to jumpstart my car and failed and charged me $175 and said that’s the cost for trying and then an hour later another company came and jumpstarted the car successfully. Poor Experience all around.

Recently, all four of my wheels were stolen and my vehicle was left on blocks. No one wanted to tow or service the vehicle without wheels including the insurance company's tow service, AAA and the dealership. The guys at Jerry's worked super hard on a Sunday afternoon to find temporary replacements. Multiple employees came down to help safely and efficiently tow the vehicle so repairs could move forward.

I'd like to thank Jerry's Towing for the superb service I received today. The pickup was prompt, the driver was professional and the whole process was worry free. To have someone reliable is a real peace of mind. Thank you again, Jerry's!

Last Friday, I was driving home from Long Island when I hit a massive pothole and ended up with a flat tire. My car has run-flat tires, which are supposed to last about 50 miles after a puncture—but the damage must have been severe, because the tire deflated quickly. I contacted Mini Cooper roadside assistance, and they arranged for a tow to the nearest Mini dealership. They contacted Jerry’s Auto Towing, who kept me updated with several calls about who was coming and when to expect them. The driver, Smokey, was then dispatched to my location. When Smokey arrived, he was professional, courteous, and very reassuring. As frustrating as the situation was, he made me feel like my car was in good hands. I highly recommend Jerry’s Auto Towing to anyone in need of reliable and professional roadside assistance.

Having your car towed can be challenging, but having it impounded is miserable. Lucky for me, dealing with Jerry’s Towing, I was relieved by the end of it all. The person in charge today was very understanding of my unfortunate circumstances and was able to work with me so we both were satisfied. Thanks again to the attendant at the desk and the person on the phone making the decisions.

The early morning hours of MLK Day I was stalled out in a driveway which unfortunately had an incline with snow on it. I called Jerry’s and spoke to a very helpful gentleman who quickly sent me a skilled and professional driver ( Jamel) that had myself and my vehicle off to the service station quickly and safely. If you want to get ripped off then this place is for you. I honestly regret having my work truck repaired by these people. I should have seen all the negative reviews but I went what was on the AAA site. As business owner myself I don’t know why this facility is still in business. I broke down within 8 miles of this shop and used my AAA membership to pick up my truck and bring it to the nearest place. It was night time and my original guy was closed by then. I saw a promo to save 10% on any repairs using a AAA shop so I went with that option. I already knew what my problem was as I’m very car savvy. I went to the shop along with tow truck and was very specific to please call me with pricing. The very next day I did not get a call until 1120am. When I was called I was told a ridiculous price for what I needed done. I called my own mechanic which gave me a way lower price by 50% and called this shop back within 20 minutes to inform them not to work on my truck as I was gonna have it picked up by my guy and was told by this shop that it’s too late they are half way done and been working on my truck all morning long with out my approval at all. I quickly informed AAA of this issue and they told me that they cannot do anything as this shop is not a AAA shop but independent meaning they make their own pricing. AAA was no help whatsoever. I just wanted my car out of this shop so I payed the ridiculous price. When I picked up the car I was very specific to please give me a very detailed receipt for my review as I wanted to know what parts was installed my car but all I got was a receipt of the things done. After quick inspection of parts I can confirm I did not get oem parts and also a nice shimmy when the truck is in motion and a broken washer fluid reservoir. So at the very end I was ripped off was told to pay cash not sure why, got cheap parts but charged for original parts, got a receipt that doesn’t say anything besides work done, and now other things broken that I have to fix personally. The promo from AAA does not apply to this place at all so that is also false advertising. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s disgusting and that’s says it all of the workmanship from this shop. I know I’m never going back and have spread the word to all my colleagues, clients and employees.

Can’t say enough about Jerry’s Auto Towing… five stars plus. Merc and his team were there for us when we had an emergency situation with our car overheating on the highway. We left the car in their hands which was a great decision. They have been beyond honest, gracious and fair every time we have dealt with them. We appreciate everything they have done for us and highly recommend them for any auto services.

My lawyers will be in touch with this shop. They towed one of my cars and will not release "boss is not in". They then hit you with an insane bill for a single .5 mile tow and 10 hours of storage. They tried charging $2200. Got it back under 400. Either way lawyers will be in touch and I will have this business investigated for the fraud they are committing.

Have had 2x experiences with them. One, a few years ago, was a dream. Could come quickly when stuck at night in the rain and were wonderful. In trying to pre-book a tow today for the same car that was stranded in NYC to return to Long Island to a mechanic shop near them. The person answering the phone was rude and dismissive, very quickly saying no. No problem, but when I asked the "Why" so that I could understand how to find a different company that could do it, the conversation turned incredibly rude and dismissive with multiple answers given that kept changing. First it was "we can't do that" then "I don't have the equipment to do that tow", then finally got "it's outside our service area" as an answer. Maybe the guy had a bad day, but, answering a simple "Why" question with hostility seems silly, immature, and pretty bad business practice to me especially when dealing with a repeat customer who actively called them first BECAUSE of the great experience the first time.

Today was our lucky day. We were getting off the LIE service road when our caliper fell off our tire. The guys at Jerry’s couldn’t have been nicer and went above and beyond to help us. First they directed us in reverse safety into their lot. Then 3 guys walked the service rd looking for our missing bolt. Then actually found another one in the shop to use. They had us back on the road in less then an hour And they Absolutely didn’t overcharge. And my husband who has a lifetime in auto body business said they weren’t satisfied until the job was correct and we were safe! ❤️❤️❤️

I had an alternator problem with my car. We hadn't used Jerry's in the past, but knew of them as a long term local family business. We dealt with several members of the staff and found each one to be knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. Shortly after this review I complained about the charges from Jerry's. Some accommodations were made.

Charged me $1000 for tow and storage when my sister had an accident a 1/2 a mile from my house. We asked them to bring it to the house they said they can’t. I ask can I take it when it was at their location they said no I couldn’t get it till Monday. So they changed us for the tire and the unnecessary storage. We call the cops they said it was extortion. These guys are thieves don’t call Jerry Towing you’ll regret it.

Came to visit family and had a Tesla rental where the trunk malfunctioned and the bar was leaning against the rear glass. Jerry's Auto Towing was assigned to help me and I was so relieved after talking to them because I could tell from the start they was going to take care of things. Shortly after that, the roadside dispatcher fumbled everything and I was reassigned to a total of SIX different towing companies over a 16 hour period. NOT one of them showed up!! By the next morning I was in tears and begged them to call back Jerry's. Sure enough.. within moments of contacting them they were calling and coordinating with me to pick up the vehicle. Not only were they a joy to talk to and coordinate with, but they took time to explain the process and keep me informed. I cannot say enough about how amazing these guys are!! Thank you. Thank you. This place is a total scam. We went for a family dinner at Ravagh restaurant. We accidentally parked behind the restaurant as the signs of towing were hidden. We were talking to the restaurant manager as he was giving direction to correct parking lot. Within two minutes of parking we ran to the car and two employees from this company already put the boot on the car. Then, I kindly asked that we ran back to move the car and it hasn’t been standing here for more than 5 mins. The guys were rude and demanded cash immediately. We said we came for a family dinner and have no cash on hand. They rudely said go find an ATM. We asked for why they are charging us $353, one guy who was extremely rude started yelling and said call Jerry’s towing, he won’t answer for true price. I asked for his name and he kept yelling Jerry’s towing. The other guy was named Leo, both of them were extremely rude and sitting there to rob people. Stay away from these folks. They will demand money. Please report this place.

Clutch died on my car while I was on the highway. AAA towed me to Jerry’s, the closest place. They were so friendly. They let me wait for a friend to pick me up even though it was after 5pm on a Sunday. It was a big job to replace the clutch and took several days. Manny did a great job with the repair. He explained everything to us and kept us updated the whole time. Very pleased with their service all around.

I was towed to this station by AAA when my car didn't start. I received quick service and I received hourly updates along the way. I had to stay there since repairs would be done the same day. The chairs were ok and Jerry's is close to coffee and deli shops for food. This is a working repair station and while a crutch or cane might be usable in the waiting room, a wheelchair is out. The shop is visible from the Expressway and Powerhouse road. They have a large lot and I saw 4 bays, at least. The cost of the repair was reasonable and the employees pleasant. I recommend this shop!!
