On February 22, 2026, I stopped at Cycle Gear in search of a helmet and Bluetooth headset and I was greeted by a young man by the name of Louis, who was very helpful and experience in the items that I needed, he took his time to explain and compare the differences and advantages of the different item which lead me to choose to right items for my needs. I went to buy a helmet and was greeted by Keefe who was very friendly helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me try on probably 10 different helmets and i left with the perfect one. He was very professional and installed the new visor and pinlock for me without asking i was very impressed.

Visited store for feedback on a helmet I had purchased from an online partner. The level of attention and service was incredible. The manager clearly listened and provided factual and personal experience based solutions. Store got extremely busy while I was there and he was able to pivot and handle multiple customers, after politely asking each of us if it was ok to step away. Meanwhile the customer service level was not compromised!! I would comfortably recommend this store to friends and family.

They had what I was looking for. Ivan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products and definitely an asset to your team. My first time in your store and I liked what I saw. Keep it up.

Kam is the man. Very nice young man who rides and thoroughly understands the riding gear they sell. The Cycle Gear location was large, clean, and very well stocked. Many options in riding jackets, pants, boots, and helmets. Plenty of options to choose from. No pressure sales and clean bright fitting room. Definitely going back again soon. Highly recommend Cycle Gear if you're looking for riding gear. I was completely surprised at the very reasonable pricing. I couldn't be happier with my recent purchases.

eddie explained literally everything about each item i asked about and what would and not work, he let me try on track suits and helmets to see which fit best. always greeted when entering the store and always told goodbye when leaving. always a good experience going here

I went in looking for a gift for my boyfriend. I knew what I wanted but needed help with it. The young gentleman was more than helpful. Great customer service which is hard to find these days especially from the younger generation. He helped me with all of my needs and I got the gift my boyfriend will love.

I am a new rider and came here and received exceptional help from Louis, who was there to recommend gear and a beginner bike, he was patient and taught me many things that I believe are important to me as a beginner, I managed to buy two helmets, two jackets, two pairs of jeans, two pairs of boots, two pairs of gloves, and two Cardo intercom speakers during their black friday sale. They also appreciate first responders, military personnel and veterans with another 10% off. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful, I highly recommend this store for your bike gear!

The customer service at this store is the kind you might get from a local store where you have known the owner your whole life, not a large chain. They all go above and beyond every time I walk in that store. They installed a Bluetooth com system in a helmet I did not buy from them. Yesterday Erwin installed a pin lock and and extra helmet kit in a new helmet I did purchase from them. Both were at no charge. When I explained I could not carry the box and accessories the helmet came in on my bike, they offered to hold the box and my old helmet for me as long as I needed. Who does that? They are super knowledgeable motorcycle enthusiasts who could not be nicer to deal with or more helpful. On top of this they have the largest selection of helmets I have ever seen in one place allowing you to compare them instead of buying online and taking your chances, and their prices far as I can tell match what you would pay on Amazon. Big fan.

Everytime I walk in this store, regardless of who helps me, I've always been made to feel like I've been there #1 customer for a 1000 years. Erwin helped me this last visit and we couldn't stop laughing the whole time. I'm a ballbuster and I even started messaging with another customer and we had fun. I was there trying to buy a new helmet and settled on the Sedici Sistema 3 Carbon Modular with Sena 60s for comms. I literally got the last 60s in the store that day. Love my new helmet and comms, I hate to say it but I got home and tried it again to watch YouTube videos and check the sound quality, an hour had passed before I knew it. Very lightweight helmet and very comfortable padding, coupled with Harmon Kardon speakers, love it. Thank you again Erwin and everyone else at the store, except Kamaron .. Lol

It was a Black Friday sale and I headed over to the Jericho store to purchase a Sena 60s headset that was on sale. AMI was the girl that helped me she was knowledgeable, friendly,Informative and honest. We had a nice discussion about Sena and Cardo headsets . Ami matched the online price and then proceeded to install the headset in both my helmets it came with a half helmet and a full face mount. What I appreciated the most is her honesty when she didn’t know something she said so puting her hands up and shrugging her shoulders in a gesture it was refreshing rather than the BS most store people throw out there . Good shopping experience

Walked in to check out some motorcycle gear, & was helped by Keefe. SUCH A WONDERFUL store representative! 😊 He was very knowledgeable & answered all of my questions, & was NOT pushy to get me the membership (he did mention it & I thought about it, & went ahead & purchased it as well). Hopefully he'll be around for when I come back & purchase my helmet! 🪖

Eddie was super helpful as this was for my first bike and wasn’t entirely sure what i wanted to get. He made it as easy as possible finding gear that not only was of good quality and protective, but also fit the look that I was going for as well. He even let me try on his personal jacket which is what i ended up ordering and love so will definitely be going back again

I called and talked to Erwin and he was extremely helpful. He said that he was not going to be there when I got there but that he would have Ami help me. When I got to the store everyone was extremely nice. I will definitely be going back there for all my racing gear. Anyone looking for any kind of riding gear go see them here. Superb service! I’m a new rider and had lots of questions. By the time I left the store I felt like I understood helmets and safety gear and ratings. Erwin measured. my head, fitted me for an helmet and made sure it was the right fit. Purchased my first ARAI helmet and when I walked out of the store knowing I had made the best decision to goto the cycle gear store near me and seek their knowledge and great customer service experience.

I had done some research on helmets and went in with a specific one in mind. The salesman, Keefe, asked me some questions and then educated me on pros and cons of what I was looking for, showed me a bunch of other options, and ultimately I bought one I wasn’t previously familiar with. Further research when I got home gave me full confidence it was a better choice and excellent decision. It was refreshing to have such a casual yet professional shopping experience with a very knowledgeable, competent and friendly salesman, and pricing was competitive to online. Top shelf.

My Experience Was Excellent. Sales Manager Mr. Keefe Was Extremely Helpful In My Motorcycle Helmet Purchasing Process. I went in to buy a new helmet and the employees helped right away to fit me and understand all my questions and answer them for me while Commenting on how nice my Old helmet was so I could tell they weren’t just trying to sell me one. They even swapped over my Cardo and offered to hold my old one until I came to pick it back up.

Loved this place. We bought the first equipment for my husband, and Keefe helped us so much. Very easy to talk to, never pushy. Gave us really helpful recommendations and always asked about our budget before suggesting anything. Really helped us make a great choice!

5/19/2025: I went to Jericho store to inquire about the new Sedici Strada 3 LE Forged Carbon Helmet and the Cardo Packtalk Edge since I was mailed a in- store promotion flyer about helmet week and its sale exclusives. Their manager Erwin helped me figure out the appropriate helmet size since I wasn't aware they run somewhat tighter than the typical XS oval size helmets I've purchased in the past (Icon and LS). I'm grateful for his assistance in choosing the appropriate size for me according to his expertise. I've heard nothing but good things about this brand hence why I chose to go with this as my second Sedici brand gear. The price was also not as damaging to my wallet especially when you're a Riders Preferred Member taking advantage of the sales and reward cash back!! He also assisted in installing the Cardo Packtalk Edge, since I was already planning on testing out my helmet the very next day. I'm happy with my purchase so far and only time will tell if it's right for me safety wise and in the long run. I appreciate being able to run to this store whenever I'm in need of help with my gear, especially as a loner female rider. Thank you Manager Erwin and team! Looking forward to your next bike night and promotions. 06/14/2024: Cycle Gear Hicksville, meet Cycle Gear Jericho! Wow, ya'll stepped your game up, UP!! I LOVED the new store. Way more spacious and a game changer. Definitely a bigger gem now on Long Island! I was helped by both Ricky and Adam whom are informative, supportive, happy to help, professional, and welcoming. As a short female rider, I had to return several pants and jeans that I had purchased from their website that unfortunately did not meet my safety expectations or standards, as a 5'3" shorty, to keep me safe on the road. Fortunately, they weren’t mean about it or negative whatsoever. Instead they were understanding and supportive with other options and suggestions. With Ricky's help, I surprisingly was able to find the right fit overpants that my hips and thighs were looking for haha! And Adam and Rick were kind enough to help with the whole return and purchase transactions. Thank you guys for all your help and chat! I hope they'll consider expanding more of the female gear section for not just tall and regular gals but also for short heights as well. Thank you guys! Keep up the great work!

Bought the Cardo bluetooth, the rep was very helpful, even installed it for us on two helmets, waited for us to pair and everything. Great experience, definitely a good place to shop. Saw other employees being just as helpful with customers. Made our joy ride exceptionally better!

This was my first time going to Cycle Gear in Long Island . I first walked in and the new manager greeted me with total respect. He was training two new employees with great personalities.
