Me and my family, went into South Shore jeep to ask a question about a jeep. We end up purchasing a new 2026 jeep wrangler anniversary edition! Shah and Scott are the best sale person i ever dealt within all of my years of purchasing a vehicle. We need more salesmen that is willing A. Barrington Wilson to give you the best deal as well put you in the right car.

Terrible service here. My cars been held hostage over a week without any updates. I constantly have to call them for an update to be told, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. The adviser was supposed to call me back at least 5 times and never not once calls me back. I have to constantly call him just to get an update. I wasn’t even offered a loaner car as a courtesy to hold me over so I’m left with constant uber bills and losing money on work. These guys are horrible I would absolutely never recommend them. The car went in for a simple recall and they tried clearing the code instead of actually fixing the issue, only for the code to come back up a few days later and for them to have to go back in and try to fix it for real this time. I am fed up with the run around and games. I need my car. ASAP. Had I been offered at least a courtesy vehicle I wouldn’t be this annoyed cause I could at least WORK, make money and still get around but instead, I am left without a car, losing money on jobs and on Ubers. You guys need to reevaluate your entire customer service strategy cause this is ridiculous. I don’t even leave reviews like that but I’m so annoyed I felt this one was 100% necessary.

I recently purchased my 2024 Ram 2500, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, I received exceptional service from the dealership, especially from Angel, Tina and Javier who were incredibly attentive, professional, and transparent throughout the entire process. They, along with the rest of the team, worked hard to get me the best deal possible, always answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to their dedication, I’m now enjoying my new Ram and I’m completely satisfied with my purchase. I 100% recommend this dealership! Extremely disappointing experience. My brother and I went in to look at a vehicle that was advertised at $76,850. Before we were even allowed to properly see the car, the first thing we were handed was a credit application, which felt very inappropriate considering we had not even discussed the vehicle yet. After about an hour of back-and-forth, the sales manager, Angel, told us he would honor the advertised price of $76,850. Shortly after that, we were told the “actual price” of the car was $81,500. Eventually they said they would still honor the original price, but only if we filled out a credit application before they would even show us the out-the-door numbers. After finally getting past that and asking for the OTD price, we were told the lowest they could sell the car for was $91,000, because they “need to make at least $10k on the vehicle” plus warranties. To make matters worse, Angel was dismissive, disrespectful, and even used profanity during the interaction. It felt very clear that because my brother and I look young, we were not taken seriously. What’s frustrating is that we are both in the automotive business ourselves, so we understand how deals and pricing work. There is nothing wrong with a dealership making money, but misleading pricing, forcing credit applications just to see numbers, and disrespecting customers is not the way to do business. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, misleading, and extremely disrespectful. I went into the dealership with the simple plan of buying out my lease and had absolutely no intention of purchasing a new car. After sitting down with Scott and reviewing my options, he showed me how upgrading to a 2026 model actually made more sense for my situation. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood the numbers before making a decision. Shah was great to work with throughout the process — professional, patient, and easy to talk to. What I expected to be a straightforward lease buyout turned into an upgrade I’m genuinely excited about. I’m really glad I ended up with the new car and appreciate both Scott and Shah for guiding me through the process without making it stressful. Highly recommend working with them!

Highly recommend coming to the showroom for the following reasons. 1. Very clean, like immaculate and it smells nice. I can’t place the scent but it’s like lavender mixed with falling in love. 2. The people are great, Angel is straightforward and a hard worker. Very transparent for a week and change in locating the exact vehicle I wanted. My sales rep Tina was an absolute joy. Really nice smile, and that’s something we all need to do more as humans. Even throughout the annoying waiting process during financing she went over every detail on the vehicle and with the leftover time helped me pick out new shampoo. I did however refuse the cinnamon candy, but it’s there if you like that. Frankly I prefer butterscotch. 3. The financing gentleman Javier was probably the best finance person I ever worked with very clear cut and no fast talking sales BS. It’s abundantly clear that the people here enjoy working here and it makes the process way more enjoyable.

⭐ 1 Star – Misleading Online Pricing & Financing Penalties I purchased a vehicle from South Shore Jeep in Inwood, NY after seeing it advertised online for $68,550. I came prepared, pre-approved through my credit union at 5.7% APR, with excellent credit. Once I arrived at the dealership, I was told the actual price of the car was $79,000 due to added fees that were never disclosed online. I was then informed that if I used my own credit union, the price would increase again to $82,000. Because of this, I felt pressured to use the dealership’s financing instead. Even then, I was given a 6.4% APR, despite having extremely good credit and already being approved at a lower rate elsewhere. Advertising one price online and then significantly increasing it based on how a customer chooses to finance is misleading. Penalizing buyers for using their own lender is not transparent or fair. I am sharing my experience so other buyers know to ask detailed questions, get everything in writing, and be cautious—especially if you plan to use outside financing.

⭐ 1 Star – Bait and Switch Pricing / Lack of Transparency I went to this dealership after seeing a vehicle advertised online for $69,750. Once I arrived and sat down to discuss numbers, I was told I would need to finance nearly $88,000 for the same vehicle due to added costs that were never clearly disclosed upfront. At no point before arriving was I informed that the price would increase by almost $20,000. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. When I questioned the pricing and financing terms, I was told very plainly by the owner of the establishment that he is “in the business of making money” and that they do not care how customers feel about the process. I was also presented with a higher APR than expected, and it was explained that this is part of how the dealership makes money, which further reinforced the lack of transparency and customer-first mentality. Buying a car is a major financial decision, and honesty matters. I left feeling disrespected and misled. I strongly recommend that potential buyers get everything in writing, question every fee, and be prepared to walk away if the numbers don’t match what’s advertised. I sincerely apologize to any of my clients that I've sent here in the last year. I had no idea South Shore had a new owner. I’m sharing this so other consumers are fully aware before investing their time and money here.

Very disappointing experience. I had a confirmed appointment with the plan to purchase a vehicle. I planned my entire day around it, including taking the day off from work, arranging childcare, and preparing for a two hour drive. When I called the day of my appointment to confirm, I was informed that the vehicle had been sold two days earlier. Unfortunately, no one thought to mention this beforehand, despite having my contact information and an appointment scheduled. This lack of communication resulted in a complete waste of my time and unnecessary inconvenience. A simple phone call could have prevented all of this. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this dealership.

I contacted this dealership regarding a used truck that had sustained hail damage. Prior to visiting, I was explicitly told by the receptionist that pricing was negotiable, despite the fact that I live approximately 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, my trade-in was appraised at nearly $6,000 less than offers I had already received from other dealerships. I then spoke with a sales representative named Angel, who insisted that all other dealerships were manipulating their out-the-door pricing and engaging in misleading or bait-and-switch practices. After waiting close to an hour, I was finally able to view and test drive the truck. When it came time to discuss pricing, I was informed that the dealership does not negotiate under any circumstances. When I expressed confusion as to why I was encouraged to make the trip, I was told that the receptionist had made a mistake and would be corrected going forward. To confirm whether this was a negotiating tactic, I followed up the next day and spoke with Angel again. He reiterated that the price was firm, stating the truck was effectively an $85,000 vehicle. While that may be accurate if new, the vehicle is titled as used, has hail damage, and the Kelley Blue Book value is approximately $58,000. Overall, this experience was a significant waste of time and involved misleading communication. I would recommend clarifying pricing and negotiation policies thoroughly before making the trip, or considering other dealerships altogether. I

10 stars!! Such a seamless experience from start to finish! My sales guy Shah got me fitted in the perfect truck, he was super knowledgeable and fun to talk to while we waiting for approval. After approval Bremen the finance guy took over and knocked it out of the park. I came close to closing and all these guys stayed late to make sure I was able to take my truck home that night. These guys were super easy to work with and made my experience top notch. Highly recommend checking this dealership out before buying a car anywhere else. Thank you guys

I initially left a 5-star review when my husband purchased his Jeep from South Shore Jeep, but after recent experiences, I feel compelled to change my rating to 1 star. While the car purchase process seemed smooth and typical on the day we got the vehicle, things changed the following day. The next day, when my husband returned the spare key, he was informed that the previous lease was 39 months, not 36 as we had been led to believe. This oversight left us with an unexpected responsibility for the remaining 3 months of payments. We were never informed of this, and to make matters worse, the dealership claims no responsibility, despite having provided us with the previous lease details. Needless to say, we will be fighting this. Additionally, over a month later, we still haven’t received the new registration. When we contacted the DMV, they revealed that the dealership never even submitted the necessary paperwork. To make matters even worse, we received a notification that my husband’s credit application was declined by the finance department, despite being approved on the spot and having good credit. The lack of communication and accountability is appalling. We will never return to this dealership, and I strongly advise anyone considering a purchase here to double-check everything thoroughly before committing.

He was receptive, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process even after the sale was completed. A true professional and a real gentleman. He worked hard to get me out of my old truck, which still had a financing balance, and helped me secure a great deal on a brand-new truck. It was by far the easiest and smoothest vehicle-buying experience I’ve ever had. I am writing to express my satisfaction with the recent purchase of a 2020 RAM ProMaster City for my HVAC business. While the process took longer than expected, I am very happy with the outcome. Molly , my sales representative, was patient, thorough, and accommodating throughout the process. She facilitated two test drives and ensured a previously illuminated engine light was resolved by the service department. The finance team also provided a similarly positive experience. Finally, the South Shore team followed through on their promise to order a replacement key fob for the missing one. I have an appointment next week to have it programmed and pick it up.

I worked with Tina, Angel, and the sales team at South Shore to acquire a RAM Promaster. I had a great experience and pretty much every question I had during the purchasing process was addressed with clarity. I made sure to communicate thoroughly prior to my arrival in the week leading up to the purchase, and I was able to easily get in touch with their team members over the course of the many days leading up to the sale. They worked with me to configure an out the door price that made sense with my budget and addressed all of my questions related to out of state purchases. Overall, I had a really good experience. As with any major purchase, it’s always important to research your purchase and educate yourself on the vehicle you are interested in and they helped me do that.

I have to say this is best Jeep dealership ! This is my 2nd time back purchasing a car. My sales representative Tina is amazing. We spoke a few weeks prior to me coming in. When I called to finalize my choice to come in I loved that she remembered me and worked with my schedule. I went in and she is very patient and thorough. Called in the morning agreed on the price. Angel disclosed the truck had hail damage but has been repaired. Being a good deal and the exact package I want I canceled my deposit at another dealer and drove the 2.5 hours one way. When I got there the 2025 35 mile truck was banged up and scratched up on ever panel, NOTHING was repaired like Angel said. I came all this was let's make a deal. They said they'd repair it and deliver the truck same week. After 2 hours of waiting in an empty showroom for their finance manager the base price went up $5000. Not to mention another almost $5000 in just fees. Horrible service and zero communication between coworkers. Picture one of 30 dents all over the truck.

I recently visited this auto dealership, and overall, the experience was smooth and professional. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, I truly appreciated it. Tina answered all my questions, gave me space to make my decision, and even offered a test drive on the spot. Everything was clean, organized, and well-presented.
