I purchased a car from this dealer 9/2025. I would never recommend or go back. First be very careful when you use their website. The price shown is not the "real" price of the car. Check the fine print for extra fees. Also, if you wish to pay cash the price is more. (so consumer beware!). So that was my mistake. When we finally decdided to go forward with the deal (we did not live that close by) the sales manager decided to hit us up for another $1000 in fees. So we finally got the car, now I see car fax is showing that the car was hit seveal months before we purchased it. (This was not on the original carfax we saw at the time of purchase). There is noway that this dealership didn't know that this car was hit. I specifically asked this question and they showed me the car fax without the information. If I would get any satisfaction I'd report to the betterbusiness bureau, but that will not improve the resale of my car. Stay away, run for the hills and go to Hassett Subaru. I would have purchased from them, but I was looking for a specific hybrid, that they did not have in stock.

From start to finish the team at north coast did a great job. The salesperson Niki was knowledgeable and super personable, which made the whole process feel very smooth. She wasn't too pushy like other experiences I've had, which I really appreciated. Once I decided to purchase the car she worked with me to make sure I got the best price- which ended up being under book. They held true to their promise to match the truecar quote I got online, so I ended up driving home my new car that same day! All the paperwork was handled by Brandon, and it was clear to me that he is a seasoned pro. Like Niki, he was also a pleasure to talk to. He explained everything I was signing perfectly, without the unnecessary upselling. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience & I'm so happy with my new vehicle! High pre-owned vehicle prices and high admin fee of $1300. They will tell you they can work with you on price if you are a serious buyer, but this is a lie- they use tools such as JD power and other car dealer’s fees to justify their high prices and fees. Save yourself time and go somewhere else!

Liars!!! Said the car had no accidents but when I got there it had definitely been in an accident. Negotiated the price and then the manager came over and said no to the agreed price set by the car salesman. Then they wanted my credit card to hold the car. Needless to say I laughed at them and then the manager told me he can sell these used cars with 10% brakes left and all sorts of other scams he likes to pull. Ended up going to empire Subaru of Huntington. Such a better place with way better people working there. Tucker was great, honored our negotiations and my Subaru is accident free and running great! Highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at North Coast Subaru in Glen Cove. Eric, the General Manager, listened carefully to what we wanted and showed us a number of models that suited our brief. Brandon, the Business Manager, was remarkably thorough when we were completing our paperwork. There was no question about the trade-in process, or about the financial implications of buying vs. leasing, that he did not answer in a clear concise manner. Plus he was a pleasure to work with. Rossany, the Subaru Brand Specialist who guided us through the process, did a fantastic job. She was knowledgeable, charming, had a great sense of humor, was very sensitive to our concerns, and, most importantly, was incredibly patient. She explained all of the technological wonders that one will find in a new Subaru Forester Touring model, but she knew enough to simplify the gadgetry when necessary and gauged when this senior couple had come to the end of their rope in terms of what can be learned in one afternoon. She then gave us her card and assured us that we could call her anytime with our questions. Rossany made what can be an arduous process into a pleasure. She was great. The entire team at North Coast Subaru, including John, another Subaru Brand Specialist, did a fantastic job. We recommend this dealership without reservations.

My car went in for an inspection and oil change, and they even sent a video walking through their full checkup and any potential issues. No pressure, no upselling — just honest information. Everyone there is courteous, efficient, and incredibly responsive if you call with a question or need an appointment. It’s refreshing to get old‑fashioned, personalized service instead of feeling like just a number.

Worst car purchasing experience ever. Bait and switch scam. Advertised price was not honored. Both sales person and sales manager quoted me KBB value for pricing and said third-party sites such as Cars.com, Truecar.com, etc. did not have correct pricing. Only wanted to sell to customers that financed. Gave much higher price when I said paying cash.

UPDATE: Barbara and Eric are reimbursing me for the dead battery. And they are giving me a $500.00 service credit to North Coast Subaru. I appreciate what Eric told me about North Coast’s value in communication, explaining how there is right way, and wrong way to communicate. Thank you Eric and Barbara for listening to me, and communicating. My experience at North Coast Subaru in mid October 2025 had pros and cons. Let’s get into the pros first, because I really love the car that John found for me. It was actually the first, and only car I drove in the lot, a White Subaru Outback 2020. The car is spacious, very smooth for a larger car, with lots of bells and whistles. John was thorough in explaining all of the functions the car possessed, and he sat with me for a while in the outback showing me how to use them. John was also very kind in helping me move all of my stuff from my old car to my outback. Both Brandon and John worked hard to get me this car, considering what my budget aim was for monthly payments. Brandon was also very patient and communicative with me about selecting the right warranty. Which leads me into Writing about what John and Brandon were NOT communicative about. I traded in my own car, a Subaru Impreza 2012. Correct me if I’m wrong. But when I did the research according to Blue Book value, this car is worth anywhere between $2,500 to $5,000. I asked John how much they were giving me for the Impreza and he told me $1,500. And even though I thought that was a lower offer, I took it anyway. Fast forward to a few days after I’ve signed for the car and taken it home. I look at the paperwork and notice that Brandon and John only gave me $500 for my Impreza. So I emailed John and he calls me back. He tells me exactly this: “That was my mistake, my boss told me you could get $1,500 on the street for it. Sorry about that” I told him that I understood, but that this still doesn’t sound right. He goes on to tell me “Well you know we don’t sell older cars like that here. We actually had to spend money to bring it to auction. And you know, the tires and other things weren’t great with the car. So we could only offer you $500 for it”. That’s funny, because when John drove my Impreza, he said it was in surprisingly good shape. I was never told this by John nor Brandon during the signing for the trade and purchase of the outback that they were only giving $500 towards the Impreza. I actually had a lot of work done for the car in April of 2025. All of the following were fixed by my mechanic on the 2012 Subaru Impreza (I double checked this with my mechanic recently). Front and rear struts All four hub bearings Breaks and rotors all around Oil change Wiper blades 4 brand new tires Replaced exhaust system. One other thing that happened is that my battery died in the middle of manhasset, a month after getting the car. My warranty would cover it, but I would have had to pay for the tow, and I wouldn’t have seen my car for a few days, according to whoever I spoke with on the phone at North Coast. I selected to have triple A replace it for $280.00 so that I could fix the problem, and not be stranded. So would I recommend this particular Subaru dealership to a friend? Maybe to discuss a plan, and listen to their expertise on cars. Because they were good at working with me. But if they tricked me on my car trade…. What else are they not communicating? Their mistake was a $1,280.00 mistake for me.

I recently worked with Brandon at North Coast Subaru looking into warranty options for my 2023 Subaru, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The entire staff did a wonderful job with my transition into a new lease. Barbara, Brandon, James and Sheila were all attentive and professional. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient—especially with my wife, who was getting her very first Subaru! Rossany took her time explaining every option, even walking her down to the lot to see vehicles beyond what was shown in the showroom. That level of care meant a lot to us. Even though we couldn’t finalize everything the first day due to the availability of the finance team, Rossany kept us updated at every step. She made sure we knew the best time to return and really helped ease my wife’s anxiety throughout the process. Her professionalism, communication, and genuine warmth made this a wonderful experience. I also want to mention Brandon from the finance department. While the interaction had a moment or two of misunderstanding—particularly around the warranty options—he ultimately helped us close out the deal smoothly. Hands down the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had! I walked in thinking there was no way I’d get approved for the car I really wanted but my salesperson Rossany and the GM, Eric, completely changed that. They went above and beyond to make it happen, and before I knew it, I was driving off the lot in my new to me 2022 Honda Civic. I can’t recommend this dealership enough. I drove all the way from GA for the nicest Subaru Outback and I met the nicest team ever. My sales person Sheila was outstanding and covered all the basis on the car and answered all my questions. Manager Barbara was amazing from the beginning and was very transparent since we had our first conversation over the phone. Financing was easy and was offered multiple plans to accommodate my needs .. very good job. FIVE BIG STARS to all team members for doing an awesome job.

Avoid. Brought my car in for service and I was giving a laundry list of services I did not need. I reiterated that I just wanted the specific services (alignment, tire pressure monitor service, ect.) I came in for and services that I would normally only have to wait an hour or two for it took an entire day. I had to pick up my car the next day only to find that it was performing worse than what I brought it in. When I brought it back in complaining about the performance and not seeing the things I asked to be repaired, they took it back in and after a few hours when I got the car back, they forgot paper work from the computer that showed they clearly did not do the work that I paid for the first time around. The only thing that did get fixed though was the alignment system. I had to take it to another Subaru dealership where are their computer read out where the repairs that I paid for here we're clearly not done and that's why I had persistent issues even after I brought it back the second time.

I got a great deal on a 2025 Subaru Forester Hybrid. The sales associate, John Nunziatta was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I had many questions about EV cars vs Hybrid and he was on top of every question with answers. He explained the pros and cons for each car and helped me with my decision to go with the Subaru Forester Hybrid and I couldn't be any happier. I initially thought I wanted the Cross Trek - but after learning about EVs and a test drive with the Forester Hybrid, it was apparent that it was the better car for me and John was very patient during the entire process. After selecting the Forester, I was informed about the different finance options along with extended warranty. The entire experience was great and I highly recommend North Shore Subaru for any one looking to buy a car.

After several years of thinking about a new car, I was finally ready to purchase one. My 2010 Subaru Forester has 197,242 miles under her belt! This time, as a wiser consumer I looked at several cars. I continued to narrow down my choices, and in the end, it came down to two car companies. I read a bit more about the Subaru Forester-AWD/Hybrid, and was pretty certain that my would be the one. So I took a drive over to North Coast Subaru in Glen Cove. Looking around the showroom, there seemed to be several well-designed new cars to consider. John Nunziata, a Subaru Brand Specialist came over, introduced himself, and highlighted the different models. John answered my questions, and gave me the time I needed. There were a few features that were important to me, but hard to find. John went out of his way to find them. John was a pleasure to work with, and his professionalism is polished, and welcoming. In addition, I wish to thank Eric Outcalt, the General Manager, who was helpful, and easy to speak with while we were finalizing my purchase.
