Lots of surveillance cameras. Like, everywhere. You are def being watched. However there are clean bathrooms, no trash, a snack machine, great walking paths, and if you love very, very low flying planes (you can practically see the pilots face) this is the park for you.
Beautiful grounds all year long. Home to many wonderful free events throughout the year, such as their Tuesday concert series (their Irish night is the best on all of Long Island) and their annual Christmas Caroling event is always spectacular!
The park has been there for many years, and was renamed for the longtime Mayor Parise who turned this park into a magical community place.
Take the few extra minutes to see the 9/11 memorial (on the train station side) as well as other memorials (such as the rock memorial to a mayor from the 1920s/1930).
A pretty, small neighborhood park with plenty of seating, an accessible playground and play sprinkler in hot weather. Concerts are given at the gazebo on Tuesday nights in the Summer. Popular place for wedding pictures.
Small but friendly suburban park. Nice and relaxed environment. Well maintained with loads and loads of amenities for young kids. Good for tweens too. Plenty of benches for folks to sit. Ball fields that are actively used.
Has all the basic amenities for kids to play and be active. There's a playground area and picnic type area with 2 covered gazebos and baseball field to really run around and go wild.

Great place to bring the kids to let off some steam. Community usually coordinates events during the summer i.g concerts, rides etc. So make sure to look out for promotions at the park
Kids love the playground, open field to run around and play and the trees to climb. We also love the sprinkler area in the summer. Highly recommend this park.

Nice park, has a large variety of things to do there despite the small-medium size. No Central Park, but still very relaxed.

Good park for families. They have different play areas for different ages. Sometimes host events such as car show or carnivals. Only have 6 swings though.
I'm not sure what I expect of a park in the middle of Cedarhurst, but I always feel slightly disappointed by this park. When my children were small it was a nice spot for them to play. There's not a lot of equipment, but enough to keep them busy. Of course, the proximity to the train station makes Trainspotting a favorite kid activity...In the summer they host concerts which fail to excite. It feels like a missed opportunity. There's not much to criticize but not much to praise either
Very nice kids playground and water park. Good places to sit. Frequent events - check the village website, especially the summer concert series. Basketball. 1 baseball field. Sundays look for wedding parties taking photos at the gazebo.
Continue to have memorable times here. However, bathrooms are dirty and water fountains either don't work or only supply warm water. Otherwise, the park is really nice and is the center of many community events AND FREE SUMMER CONCERTS!
