Honest Review of My 2025 Honda HR-V LX Purchase
I recently bought a 2025 Honda HR-V LX from this dealership, and I want to share my experience for anyone considering purchasing a rebuilt title vehicle from Frankie
First, you definitely need patience—a lot of it. This dealership specializes in salvage vehicles with rebuilt titles, so the process naturally takes time. Between repairing the car and getting the title rebuilt, there’s a waiting period you should be prepared for(if the car doesn’t have the rebuilt title on hand already).
One thing to note is that their prices are very affordable, especially compared to buying the same car with a clean title. The lower cost does come with the trade-off of it being a salvage/rebuilt vehicle, but if you understand that going in, the value is hard to beat.
That said, the wait was worth it. The car came out great, looks clean, and drives exactly how it should. This isn’t my first rebuilt title purchase, so I knew what to expect, but for first-time buyers, I strongly recommend going into it with patience and understanding of the process. Feel free to ask Frankie as many questions as possible as well!
As for the dealership itself, their overall experience and knowledge are solid. Communication in the beginning was very good, but I did feel like it slowed down a bit toward the end. I found myself reaching out more often for updates. Still, Frankie did his part and made sure everything was taken care of.
In the end, I’m very happy with the purchase and the final result(the car was for my mother-in-law). If you’re willing to be patient and trust the process, this dealership is a good place to buy a rebuilt title vehicle and for awesome prices!

I would not recommend buying a car here. I know it’s not a new car and would not expect a perfect car, but they are very dishonest about what’s wrong with car. Make promises they will not grant. Save your money and buy a normal used car.

Ok first , this is a family owned place , owner name is frank , his son do most of the communication as the ads will give you the son number , mother do the paper work
If you are a marketplace shopper , most of their cars will be posted from different locations , example nj , chicago ...etc
The two people who post the cars ads are named Jennie and Jack papandreou
These people are hired by them or could be close friends who post the cars on market place , they try to hide Gotcha inc name because simple if someone put the name on googlemaps , he will see the disaster review
These people will give the son number , you walk in , you like a car , then you pay deposit or pay entirely, they will give you the sweetest talk ever , you will fell in their trap .
They will say that they will send all the paper work , thats the trap , you will probably get your car in 3-8 months.
What happens is that most of these cars they dont have the title for , they send the paperwork and albany dmv refuses it , they go back and forth until they fix paper work.
I personally put a deposit on a car , came after a week , didn't find the car , they probably sold it to someone else
They will not answer the phone after you deposit on the car , they will give you hard time , they will be not easy to deal with .
I have read a previous review , these people need to be reported to consumer affairs.
Again , these people will post the ads under different names and persons.
Please listen to my advice , take back your deposit, shop somewhere else , they are not honest and they will rip you off.

As a professional business I see it irresponsibility ran. I purchased a car (April 18th) which they agreed they would fix it and then take it to the inspection appointment. It took 5 weeks since the date I sent the paperwork to the appointment date. I was promised updates on how the car goes but I had a hard time trying to reach them and even get pictures. UPDATE: Once the appointment date came they said the car wouldn't turn on and they would call me with updates. I tried calling them and they would not answer any calls. I must add that not answering calls was something consistent all the time. They would even hang up the calls. Now the new date for the inspection (July 22nd)arrived and I tried getting some pictures but Frank refused and got so angry when asked to be straight up and tell me if everything was working. Then the truth came out and all the promises they made before selling the car were shown to be false. They promised they would fix the parts that needed to be fixed and any other imperfection. They promised that of the car had any issue we could take it to him and he would fix it. They promised they would town the car to the inspection site and to our home no additional cost. Unfortunately, three days before the new inspection he threatened me that I would never see the car if I don't pay him all the money for a work I didn't even know if it was done and that there is no warranty on anything. Honestly these guys make a lot of promises before selling the car but do not believe them. I received the car after 3 months and to no surprise the car was in poor conditions. Attached is a picture. The dash was a Christmas tree with all the lights and had even a transmission problem. Not sure how the vehicle passed the salvage inspection but it did and now taking it to our family mechanic he SHOWED US how even an arm for a rear tire was damaged. I called Frank and he said he would provide parts needed. But with a track record of taking three months to deliver a bad job I wouldn't be surprised the moment I ask for parts it'll take a month to get them and I'll probably get charged for it and the part won't work. They are not honest and trust me the niceness that they show and all the things they promise when selling the car are not at all true. I would definitely recommend recording everything if someone really wants to risk getting their money stolen. I had every in person and phone call recorded and when I say they are dishonest it's an understatement.
Bought a car from them that they said had no issues whatsoever. Before I can even get home from their dealer the dashboard looked like a christmas tree with all of the warning lights imaginable coming up. I tried reaching out to the owner Frank but after constant back and forth he refused to even look at the car to see what the problem may be. After having a mechanic look at the car they found a whole list of issues with the car ranging from shorts throughout the wire and leaking brake lines that were bound to burst any day now and send my car into a wall. The repairs came out to around $7,000 for a car that they said "had no issues." Absolute scam of a place and they will just take your money and leave you out to dry. I am currently in the middle of filing a lawsuit against these scammers. DO NOT GO TO THEM!
They were extremely transparent about the car I purchased (2020 BMW 8 Series convertible). Came in pristine condition as described, everything went smooth from the initial deposit to the full payment and then the shipping. Not to mention that I paid about half of MSRP for the car. Had a good price on a salvage lift gate for my truck... They helped me take my old broken one off and put the good one on right then and there. Was a good price, all I have to do now is get it painted and the car is back to stock. All in all, was a great experience.
My father and I went to check out their cars last Friday. He liked a car he saw and left a deposit. He goes back less than a week later to pay for the car and they told him that they sold the car by mistake. How do you sell a CAR by mistake when the PERSON clearly left a DEPOSIT for that specific car!!!!! I wish I could of checked their reviews before even giving them a try. Unfortunately we left more money down after they gave their word that we would get a better car so I really hope there is a good outcome from this “MISTAKE”......
This area is amazing. Owner Frank has good prices to offer on the set of wheels you can find in this lot. We really got what I we were looking for. His Son Frank Jr, is a cool guy as well. He knows where to take you and gives fair advice. They make a great team over here. Highly recommend this place.
Warning!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don’t ever leave a deposit on a car they will steal your money!!! You will not get the deposit back. They will give you the runaround and sell the car to another person. Then try to force you into another overpriced car. This place is a scam. Don’t be fooled by the fake good reviews. These guys are the worst! Look at their selling posts online they don’t use the gotcha name so they can lure buyers easier into their scam. Their catch is that they give you a due date to pick up the cars but they won’t open that day. It looks like they only come to the office when they know someone is going to see a car. Ask the neighbors before doing any business... you’ve been warned.
They made me pay upfront for the car , repair and to fix and install everything that was missing in the car. They also signed a contract / invoice but completely ripped me off. And took me 8 months to get my car from them. ( they lied to me about car is being fixed over and over for months) And When I got the car after 8 months nothing was fixed. So I end up spending thousands of dollars to fix it on top of what I had paid them. Don't trust them !!! I did some research, (unfortunately after I got screwed) asked mechics around them and found out that I was not the only one who got screwed. They are known for ripping off innocent customers. They are complete rip off. Save your money and buy it from some one else.
Bought two cars from this place. One lasted my daughter very long until someone hit her. Insurance claimed it as totaled, and insurance gave her more than we actually paid. So after years of use, ended up making a profit. Other car is still in use by the family. You can definitely get a good deal here. I recommend it anytime a friend is looking for cars for cheap
