After my truck failed inspection because of the tires, I started searching online for replacements and was shocked at how expensive new tires have become. A friend recommended I give Wilbert’s Tire a call, and I’m glad I did.
They had a beautiful, barely used set of Firestone tires for my GMC pickup at about one third of the price of buying new. The value was incredible.
The guys at the front desk were polite, knowledgeable, and got me taken care of quickly. The entire process was smooth and hassle free. They even handled my inspection right after installing the tires, which made everything extremely convenient.
I will definitely recommend Wilbert’s to anyone looking for quality tires at a great price.
I had a gouge in the sidewall of my passenger tire. I didn’t think it could be fixed and researched prices of new tires. I drive an AWD vehicle so replacing just the front tires wasn’t advised. I called Wilberts and spoke to one of the gentlemen who gave me different prices based on which brand of tires they had on hand. They also deal in used tires and he said they might be able to find just a single tire they could replace my tire with if it wasn’t fixable. He was very helpful and polite and they had enough time to fit me in that afternoon. I went over there and they looked at my tire and confirmed my knowledge that the gouge was too deep to be able to be fixed and the tire needed to be replaced. Much to my surprise and delight, he told me that he believed they had a used tire that had identical tread depth AND matched the tires I had on my vehicle. The technician took my vehicle, replaced the tire, shined all the tires up and had my vehicle back to me in about 20 minutes. Not only was I extremely happy with the service and disposition of all the people I encountered, I was thrilled that they were able to save me several hundreds of dollars!! These guys were such a pleasure to work with and I would recommend them to anyone for their tire needs!!
~~~It is somewhat hard to see tread depth but the replaced tire was an extremely close match with the tread depth of the other 3 tires, also these photos were taken a few weeks after the tire was replaced so they are not as shiny as they were the day it was done, but still have some shine to them ??
Great place always been treated fair. Good prices on thier second hand tires. They also deal with brand new if that's what you want. Get it done in a timely manner if you have them install as well

I've bought tires for my work vans and my personal pickup truck. I've gotten studded snow tires for my vans which it is hard to find places that sell studded tires. Highly recommended this friendly, fair and 3rd generation family run business!
Was very pleased, coming across this option for tires. Very reasonable price for used tires, that had very good tread. My appointment time was met promptly and install of tires was Completed in just over 30 minutes. We definitely return.
Have been bringing both our vehicles here now since Wilbert's first opened their tire shop. We've bought both new and used tires here and today I just purchased new snow's for my pickup. And it's not only the prices and excellent service that keeps us coming back. its also in the way we're treated. It's like a old school type of shop in which the customer is treated with respect and consideration. Something that really lacks at other business it seems nowadays.

Needed some tires for my fifth wheel. I checked around and they were the best deal. They mentioned an extra fee per tire because of the hand mounting needed for that style of rim or tire. With the initial price I was still glad to pay for it. When I picked up the tires they were actually cheaper then quoted since they ended up fitting on the machine. I feel like other places wouldn't be as honest. Highly recommend!!
I was traveling in the area staying at Sodus Point. We travel in a motorhome towing a Ford Explorer Platinum. My valve stem started a slow leak on the drive there. The leak was slow at first then it seemed to accelerate. So I got on Google and looked for a tire shop near me and the first place that stood out was Wilbert's Tires and Wheels. I called them on the phone on a Thursday afternoon and talked with Joe. I told Joe my issue and asked him how much he thought it'd cost for the repair. After he told me what I deemed a very fair price I asked how fast I could get in to get my leak repaired. Joe got me scheduled for 10:30 the next morning. I arrived promptly at 10:30, checked in and they had my leak fixed in less than an hour! Great company that I'd highly recommend! I would bring my vehicle here in a heartbeat.
I have been working in the area and needed to have my tires rotated on my Jeep because I was leaving for home in Boston the next day at Saturday. (Tomorrow)
I sent over a request for an appointment at 9 am. I received an email from Jack right away. I scheduled an appointment for 4:30 I would have to leave work early he mentioned they close at 6 on Friday.
A total of 9 emails got us to the scheduled time and the also a few stating a could come earlier if I wanted.
I got the ok. And left work early and I showed up at 4…a half hour earlier than my appointment.
When I got there, I was told they wouldn’t be able to fit me in. I explained that I had a 4:30 appointment. They told me they don’t schedule appointments. Only walk ins.
I was under the impression after all the emails, the online appointment request and the acceptance of my 4:30 scheduled time that I would be able to get my tires rotated.
After 10 minutes I was told they wouldn’t not be able to fit me in at all.
Why would they schedule an appointment or at least give the impression that an appointment had been scheduled and accepted to turn me away 400 miles from home and a need to have these tires rotated?
Even after all that they still did not want to help.
I found Mavis 10 minutes from them. They understood my situation and fit me in at 4:45 on a Friday with a 6 pm close time.
Don’t waste your time with Wilbert’s. Especially, if it is an important appointment. They will tell you what you want to hear so they don’t lose the possible money on the table.
No integrity, no honesty, which makes me question the quality and service I am as sure as the email exchanges that the quality matches the bull they fed me all day.
If you’re a traveler. Go directly to Mavis.
Had a nail in my tire so stopped in to have it patched. First time at this location and was impressed with how nice the employees were and how quickly they got it done. A little off topic but worth mentioning- 4 small children came in with their mother, they had come to see Dad at work and it was such a wholesome moment that it made my entire day. Based on how excited they were to see him tells me he’s killing it as a Dad
We had a blowout on our RV on the very first camping trip of the season—definitely not how we wanted to kick things off. Stress levels were high, and we were stranded on the side of the road when Ron, the owner of Wilbert’s Tires and Wheels, just so happened to pull up beside us and ask if we needed help.
We already had roadside assistance on the way, but he mentioned his shop was just 2 miles up the road and that they had RV tires in stock and could get us back on the road immediately. And he meant it—within 2 hours, we went from a blown tire to five brand new RV tires installed and ready to roll.
Ron was truly a guardian angel that day. He saved our family camping trip, and we are beyond grateful. Everyone at the shop was professional, kind, and incredibly efficient. Plus, the prices were more than fair.

Wilberts is great. I drive a ton each year and change my tires a bit. This last time I was there I asked them to do a quick inspection of my suspension system because I assumed something needed to be changed based on how much I drive and in no time flat recommended I needed to change my lower control arms in the front. I just did those today myself and the knocking I was hearing while braking is gone. Keep up the great work!
Always come to them for tires... think I have had to buy new tires 2x in 25 plus years only when I couldn't come here for lightly used instead... and at a fraction of the price of new. Friendly, knowledgable staff- always a great experience.
I have used Wilberts two different times now for tires. Once for just routine. And once for an emergency. Both times everyone there was super helpful and respectful towards me. I had a car towed there Friday night called them the next day and they had it taken care of by 10am! Was not expecting that as it was just a drop off with no appointment. I will gladly give them my business for tires in the future!
I had "good" tire that couldn't hold air. They found an exact match in their used inventory that matched the he wear on my current tires avoiding the extra cost and off balance for a new tire or a new set. Used them before for a couple of rv tires. Great service.
Called all around and couldn't find used tires for my car ( 235/50/17). I browsed online and saw Wilbert sold tires. They had so many options with great threads. . I paid $300 total for a set of 4 Made my day!Great people, and great prices, equals a great experience. Thanks to the wilberts family
