Was visiting from out of town and had an issue with our van due to the cold snap. They were able to get me in quickly and Tommy helped us with our issue and we were on our way. Honest and up front folks and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks for the help
I'm a bit behind on this review. Got my work done in September. Had the Hemi tick in my truck. Got real bad with multiple lifter failure. These guys had it for a couple days and did an outstanding job. Truck runs like new. Very satisfied!!! Highly recommend this shop!!!

my car was fine, brought it for an inspection which they did. then told me i would need break pads and the light on my dash was for them. they fixed my break pads. Less than a week later the light was back on. i called them explained the light was back on that they claimed was on for my break pads. they told me to bring it in. i did so. they let me know what needed to be done. i choose not to go through with them. Mind you I reached out of three different shops after all of which were charging $300 less for the same thing!! I attempted to pick out my car last friday in the morning. a male worker assuming a mechanic came out and stated he could not find my fob. asked my name. asked if i see it anywhere which i did not. He stated it was most likely in another workers tool box. He let me know they would call me when it was found. closed for the weekend. no call monday or tuesday. today i called and the lady was rude from the start. “what your fob wasn’t ever lost you just never picked it up” i started to explain and she cut me off stating it’s been here with your bill that’s due. I asked bill for what. she said “what you think you can just drop your car off for free no sweetie and it doesn’t work like that”. I explained to her that a light had come back on that you guys claimed to have fixed. She then argued. I mentioned the fact that garrett the owner never called me and she said yup i know. he’s not going to. I have never dealt with a more condescending tone or a business like this. To temporarily fix something, when i reach out to explaining the light on the dash that was fixed is back, so sweet to tell me to bring it back in. I go to pick it up, lost fob then to be practically accused of lying and argued that it was never lost. not only did they leave my car unlocked but had lost my fob and refused to reach out to me. the condescending “well what you can’t pay the $91” “don’t think you know how this works” “well you sure about that sweetie”. the most unprofessional business. talk about ripping off customers.
I was stranded! My truck wouldn't start, long story short these ladies and gentlemen got me going and didn't cost a war pension. My vehicle is running smoother than when I bought it! And I found a trust worthy mechanic!
Had a leak on the way to work, called multiple shops and M&K were able to get me in immediately. Unfortunately the tire wasn’t repairable but they had the tire off, found the leak and tire back on in less than 20 minutes. Friendly staff, all around a great place to work with. I’ll be back for any of my tire needs, Thanks!
*Update*
Again had another tire needing a plug (I’m cursed). Same great experience. Extremely nice staff, called at 950 and got an appointment at 1000. In and out in less than an hour. Hoping I’m set on tires for a while but if not, I’ll be back.
I went there for a safety inspection, and I took my car apart like I was going over the border smuggling drugs or some nonsense. I sat there for an hour and a half. I would not recommend these guys at all.
Fantastic service! I had a flat and they got me in same day to plug the tire. We have been using them for car and truck maintenance for the last year and have been please. Highly recommend!
Had a flat and M&K was sent as roadside assistance. They were very understanding and kept me updated! Chris was friendly and professional and helped change my tire. It made a stressful situation a little better! Will definitely look them up when I need more maintenance.
Got stuck in a ditch on small dirt road right before lake effect snow had to leave the truck overnight and starting calling around and due to the location of my truck no other place would come pull my truck except for these guys. These guys are dedicated to help out others even when conditions are bad, I wouldn’t call anywhere else except m&k
They got me in quickly for an inspection (which was almost expired because I've had a busy month). Inspection took almost no time at all, and I was treated well while there. Will be using M&K again when needed.
Brought my truck there for a inspection everything seemed good when I got in the truck I pulled out of the parking lot and kept losing power to my truck I got home and looked under the hood to find one of my batteries had a ground that had been disconnected out of my diesel truck and looks like they cut it never going there again and don’t recommend
Mr. Bill came out and jumped my car today. When I called for a jump I figure it would take a few hours but he got to me super fast. He was so nice and polite. Thank you, Sir !
The owner was very pleasant and understand when he towed my car to the shop.. fixed it cheaply and quickly . Beyond satisfied with his and his staff work.. gave me a detailed report of other issues with my vehicle without the usual pressures or selling of services normally given by garages.. Danica at the desk is the cherry on this sundue.. very very pleased
They were able to help me in a pinch and get my car towed to a shop. Very professional and absolute great customer service. If I ever need a tow again I will definitely use them again.
Im very happy with the service I have received at this garage. I've taken my vehicles here several times and will continue to do so. Waiting for the work can take longer than expected, but I think thats due to being good at what they do, and the workload reflects that.
I have been using this business for a few years and had been very happy with the work they have done. Recently the owner seems distracted and is not getting parts ordered or calling when parts are in. But I have still always had faith in their work. My business van was in recently for a variety of work including a sensor being replaced. When I picked it up the check engine was on before I returned home. By the next day, my DEF light was on and my diesel engine was entering countdown mode.I still thought that this was unrelated to the work they did until I talk to Mercedes. Unfortunately when it comes to a Mercedes sprinter van M&K does not know what they’re doing. They were supposed to do some sort of reset or reprogramming after installing a new sensor and that is why my van is entering count down mode. They did not do this. The next issue was they were supposed to get my ever warm system running which is an auxiliary heating system that uses less fuel than the main motor. When I talked to him initially about it he said it was an ignition problem and just had to be cleaned. Next thing I know they had drained and pulled the water tank from my van but did not tell me they did that. I found out when I went to top off the tank. They reconnected the waterlines incorrectly and lost one of the washers to the waterline. I reconnected everything and went to fill the tank not realizing there was a missing washer and the back end of my van was showered before I could turn the water off. That is where all my electronics are located. I called them to discuss these issues and let’s just say he does not like to be doubted in his work. He was screaming at me through the phone and would not allow me to ask the questions that I needed to ask. It is the first time I’ve seen this side of him, needless to say for various reasons I will not be back. Since I called him and tried to talk to him I also noticed that now I have a coolant leak in the back of my van because they were not careful when they put the water tank back in, they cracked the line. I can’t get into the Syracuse dealer for a week, and once they have it it could be up to a month before I get it back. My van is my income.
Normally I would send an email to a company I have a problem with, but I was not able to find one.
Update: I received my check back with an apology from the owner. It was greatly appreciated. After I get the work done to correct the issues I will be paying them for the part of the work that was done correctly. I increased my rating due to the apology and I really had enjoyed doing business here. They had always gone above and beyond until this incident. It is ok to have limits, you just need to realize what they are.
I needed an inspection for my motorcycle and stopped in to make an appointment. They asked if I had time right then and sent a tech out. 15 minutes later I was heading out with a fresh inspection. Shop has alot of commercial work but found time for me. Clean shop and waiting room. Very happy with the service.
Awesome Customer service, handled my emergencies on more than one occasion quick and reliably. Usually when I drop my car off for work at a garage I'm anxious, not with these guys in the shop.
Garrett and crew took care of me. After a couple months and about a $1000 trying to get my ck engine light off, I was finally ready for inspection. M and K got me in a timely manner. Cone to find out my license plate light was out so I wouldn't pass. Got me in quickly to fix my light but on my way back there my ck engine light came back on. I showed up so distraught and ready to snap and Garrett was super nice and knowledgeable and assured me I brought the car to the right place. I was weary when I left thinking I would get the call that they can't inspect the car because the Evap codes and you need another smoke test. Got the call next day that it was inspected and ready for pickup. He took extra time out of his day and drove my car around that night to clear the code. I can't express my gratitude enough and will recommend everyone I can to go there. Its very rare nowadays to find a car shop run with honesty and actual care for the customer. Glad I found them, don't hesitate to take your vehicle there and thanks again guys!!!!!! I would rather drive the extra 20 minutes from watertown to have peace of mind
Had an issue with our daughters car air conditioning. Tried to you tube recharge myself, but didn't fix the problem. Knew I was in need of help. Called and they got me in same day, drained/recharged the AC, (also didn't fix it) then diagnosed that the radiator fan wasn't working. Parts ordered, arrived next morning, fixed in an hour. The dealership at our daughters college town wanted $250 just to look at it, MK fixed it parts included for just a little more than that! Definitely recommend, thanks to all at MK!
I took my vehicle there to find out why the CHECK ENGINE light was on, so I could get the car inspected (pass). Paid over $230 for a new secondary air injection part. The CHECK ENGINE light came back on during the drive cycle. So, I took it back and the light was reset and I was told to try again. That time I drove the car with an OBD and it still only passed 2 monitors before the light came back on. Took it back again and wasn't offered a re-check on my vehicle that day.
Took it to a family member, and was told a hose was disconnected and the part didnt even need to be replaced! A new gas cap, connected hose and engine bracket adjusted: fixed at a cost of less than $20.
I gave 2 stars as I've usually had good service in the past, but paying for a part that didn't need to be replaced AND being sent away to try again, twice? Very upsetting. Especially since I'm now out over $230.
They have always done my work when I lived there! Wonderful service and great people! Miss taking my truck there. Prices are also great. Jim and Tina will always take care of you.
