I was vacationing and got a flat tire. They immediately took my car in, found a nail and patched it right up. Made it home safe and sound with my kids. I can’t thank them enough! Everyone was super nice
We stopped by to fix a leaking tire, and walk through Old Forge. Mechanic was finished before we returned...this will be the third plug and hopefully the last. They were polite, professional and prompt, highly recommended!
While staying near Old Forge, my car started violently vering to the left, couldn't do anything Saturday or Sunday, so was at the Adirondack Garage early Monday morning. John was great, told me he'd get the car in as soon as he could... and he did just that! Even sooner than I expected. Told me a band broke in the tread and any longer driving on it, I would have been in a blowout situation. They did not sell tires but offered up some used tires to help me get on the road...if these were used, they sure looked new. A short moment later and we were on our way back to North Carolina. All the folks at Adirondack Garage were kind and helpful, and all were so good in getting me on the road. Oh...and if you want the coolest t-shirt in Old Forge, go buy one from the "Garage"! Service with a smile, quality work, and a sincere desire to do the right thing. You won't be sorry.
I am from out of town and had an issue with my vehicle. They took me in and quickly solved my issue and got me back on the road. Greatly appreciate all their help. Seems to be a very honest garage with very helpful and kind Personnel working there.
They took us on very short notice with a leaking tire. Fit us into their schedule, made the repair and charged a very fair price. Great, proactive service.

We use Adirondack Garage when we need service and are always happy with the reliable fair priced service we receive … but, Today was a special day! On an 87 degree day I realized my A/C wasn’t working … they went above and beyond got me on the road quickly and with my AC working… great people Great Service Love Love Love ❤️❤️❤️
2018 Silverado starter went, got me back on the road in about 3 hours, price was a bit high but with the way inflation is right now......not to mention the part was available 👍 Good job glad they were there
An out of town family member needed emergency car repair in order to make the long trek back home. This shop received his car in the morning when they opened, had new parts replaced by lunch time and our family was back on its way. The price was reasonable, especially given the emergency circumstances. Repairs were timely and professional

Unlike dealers service centers I have not had any negative issues with the ADK Garage. Always received friendly service. Drove 65 miles from my new home to get an oil change.
I have taken my cars to them and have been impressed by their work and their honesty- they have never pushed for an unnecessarily expensive fix, and have quickly diagnosed the problems. And if it's something they're unsure of, they will recommend you to someone else.
Had a flat tire while being on vacation and very fortunate to be referred to this garage.They were very honest,professional,and helpful.After they tried many times to repair leak,they offered a used tire to get by till we returned home.Excellent people!5 + stars.
Based on the other reviews I feel like I’m a broken record, but this garage is the best. We were camping in Old Forge for the 4th of July week. Tuesday evening my truck blew a brake line coming back from a day trip to North Creek. I took it to them first thing in the morning on July 3rd. They were closing at noon and were going to be closed for the 4th, so I didn’t expect them to even look at it before the 5th. Two and a half hours later I’m back at my cabin trying to figure out a contingency plan in case I have to stay through the weekend. Suddenly my phone rings and it’s Scott telling me the truck is already fixed! The price for the job was more than reasonable, and it was done in a flash. Scott and his team are a super crew and I can’t thank them enough for the great work they did!
Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had with any garage in my entire life. The brakes went out on my wife’s 2005 RAV4 while we were on a huge family camping trip near Raquette lake, having towed our Kayak trailer with two boats on it all the way from Rochester. We left the trailer and could see brake fluid was dripping all down the right rear wheel as we limped to Thendara on the e-brake and left the car with Scott at The Adirondack Garage.
We hoped for the best — he told us they were booked up for the next week solid but maybe he could get eyes on it and at least see how bad it was, then call me and let me know. We faced the prospect of having to find another way back to Rochester, leaving our trailer somewhere in the park, then come back to pick up the car once it was fixed, then go get the trailer at that point....and this all to potentially happen the week of July 4th, somehow. What a nightmare. Scott said he would do his best to help us avoid that painful experience — and did he ever! Not 3 hours later the car was fully repaired and we were back on the road! These guys are miracle workers. Saved our family camping trip and didn’t even rip us off. The repair was a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!
I was on a road trip with my family when something went wrong with our van. Adirondack Garage turned what could have been a terrible situation into no big deal. They were able to squeeze us in and fix the issue in just a few hours and the price was very reasonable. We are very thankful that this garage got us back on the road so quickly.
I was camping outside of Old Forge and was in quite the jam on the day I was supposed to leave, when my car wouldn't start. Adirondack Garage was extremely helpful and took a look my car the same day I had it towed there. They took the time to explain everything to me and were extremely honest. I hope to never have to (because I only vacation to Old Forge), but I would not hesitate to take my car to them again.
If I could give 10 stars I would. On the hottest day of the summer they replaced front discs and pads, recharged my AC and fixed a tire valve. Perfectly and in 2 hours. Amazing. Accustomed to NYC service and costs I was amazed and grateful. Thank you Adirondack Garage.
Blew a power steering line on vacation. They were very friendly and didn't take advantage of our situation. I saw a lot of locals and tourists pass through which spoke volumes. Even with as busy as they were they got us back on the road faster than I would have thought since they squeezed us in. I would recommend them.
The guys that own the place are great.The mechanic who works on my car is awesome and I know my car is always safe to drive because he lets me know what needs to be fixed.
We got a flat tire while on vacation in the Adirondacks. A local recommended Adirondack Garage. We took the car in and had the problem fixed within 30 minutes. They only charged us $16 to fix the tire. When you have car trouble away from home, you are always nervous that you will be taken advantage of. The folks at Adirondack Garage were friendly, efficient, and fair. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there.
