Used to come to this place but not anymore, came here to bring my cans like normal and during their “business hours” and doors locked no sign saying they’re closed or be back in 5 or anything. I’d take your business elsewhere where their hours are actually what they say they are.
I started bringing my bottles and cans here around a year ago. I've had an excellent experience every time. I love that I can just dump all of my stuff into the machine, and it does all the rest of the work. It isn't super clean, but I appreciate how difficult it would be after seeing other people drag leaking bags inside.
Sign said open till 1 pm today. 12:30 and the doors are locked and the lights are still on along with the open sign. The side door is open and your employer’s car is parked there, I call inside saying hello and no one enters. Should I trust my business going to a store that closes way earlier then they are posted to close, and an employee just leaves the side door open for anyone to walk in.
I love this place but it says on Google and their door sign that they are open until 6. I am in their parking lot with 6 mins and the doors are locked and the lights are off. I'll be back because the system is great but I wish they would have correct hours.
Returned bottles today and I had a great experience, the machines are cool and it's great that you can see how much you're getting after you're done. A++
Whatever you do, absolutely do NOT got to this location. There is an employee there he is a bald white man. He has the worst attitude ever! My boyfriend just simply asked him and question and stated that on one of the bottles it said NY return on it. And the man go so nasty and replied with an attitude for no reason. And was almost instigating a physical fight! Extremely uncalled for. This man does not need to work where he has interaction with the public.
Luck of the draw when you go there. They could close for lunch anytime between 12:30 and 2:30. Never consistent. Go to the Can shack on Brighton instead. They are open when they are supposed to be.
Pulled up today, noticed someone was inside returning their cans so unloaded my car (three bags). When I got inside, the person in front of me was wrapping up, the guy working the counter leaned over and rudely told me he was going on lunch and I would have to come back in half an hour- there was no sign on the door or anything. Without saying a word I did a 180, loaded my car back up and went to Clean Loop Recycling instead.
Took 20 bags of bottles took only 15 minutes to sorting machine is great works excellent just dump your bags sort them out give you a receipt guy behind the Connor's polite friendly going to go there all the time recommend it to everybody
I returned cans on May/28/2022 in the afternoon. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely rude I get it’s not a cream of the crop job. I don’t wanna hear you don’t have enough help. Or you were gonna turn me away if I had any more bags than I did. He was miserable foul mouth over stimulated greasy hair guy. Holding on to the little bit of power he does have talking down to people trying to return there cans. I will not come back there I think it’s disgusting the way he was talking to the older clients that are a little less fortunate than others and rely on returning there cans for money. As a fellow manager for disabled clients who I know collect cans as a hobby if I seen him mistreating one of them I know if it was someone on my staff they wouldn’t have a job. I understand the staffing crisis but there’s no excuse for a creep like that to represent a business behind a counter that I manage. I’m sure this will be an ignored review but as an adult with atleast a little bit of integrity and god in my life I felt I had to write this review. All I remember is he had long dark hair, large eyes and a big mouth.
Great place to take all your 5 cent returns just empty bag into chute machine does the rest. No limit on 5 cent returns . When machine is done take receipt and give to cashier get your money and all done
Their always on lunch! If your not making waitress wage then you shouldn't have a tip jar just to had me my return money. Especially since myself and the machine did all the work. You should be tipping me.
I generally like this place and love the machine but today I show up around 12:40pm and the doors are locked. There's a hand written sign saying they are at lunch until 1pm. I go here often enough to know the normal sign on the door says they take lunch between 1:00 & 1:30. I showed up at that time on purpose. I'm waiting in my car and so are 2 other people. And your basic, repetitive response to every negative comment shows you don't actually seem to care.
Love this place! So cool to put the bottles and cans in the hopper and watch them go. Awesome sorting system and so interesting to watch. Was in and out in no time!

Profitable with employees. They are trying and the employees are delightfully pleasant to deal with. I wish the patrons would respect some semblance of social distancing. It's not this places fault.
When i called the # posted on website i got no answer. Them i come to store and wonder why the doors are locked. Perhaps they should put this on the site.See pic but im not alone 3 other customers here with me
Good locat i'll on. Went at 1:05 p.m. Thutsday. Sign said 'closed from 1 to 1:30 p.m. for lunch. It is now 1:45. At least 7 cars and 1 pedestran came and left. Now another! Poor busuness!
Was turning in bottles the place looked kinda clean for once. But as I was waiting on my bottles to be counted I saw multiple cockroaches on the wall next to the stand. I advised the female worker an was told the field supervisor knew about the situation an is handling it! DONT GO THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BRING ROACHES HOME
The worker told me to come back Friday or leave the bottles with him and they would call me when they were done counting them. He said they would most likely get done Friday. I left took my business elsewhere. Yes I had 80$ worth of cans. I picked this business because they have a machine to help sort the cans and bottles out. I wish the worker would've said something before I had everything unloaded. ? very disappointed!
Employees consistently skim your bottles. On several occasions I have brought in a verified hundred bottle count bag. Each and every time the employees under count the bottles. Watch them, as they pull three from the Sorting table they actually count them as two bottles. Do not trust this business as I have never had an accurate count.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Went to this bottle return facility with 22 bags, 20 bottles in each. That is $22 worth of bottles. The girl stopped counting to change bags, and talked to her workmates a couple times while counting. She came up with $16.75. Anyone who has ever counted things knows it is hard to keep track when being interrupted several times. I told her that was far off and received no response. The place stinks, your feet stick to the floor, there was a puddle of whatever on the counter and I got robbed by the employee. They failed my test. Back to Tops to do it myself.
Bottle Junction is so easy. Nice friendly staff. I take back 12-16 bags at a time there done in as little as 10 minutes. The last few times I got less money than I thought I would get. Most 13 gallon garbage bags hold about $2 worth. I took about 15 and only got $29.80.When you walk in if you don't drink you can smell the alcohol.
The employees there are always very friendly and professional. They don't make you feel like you're bothering them and seem to generally enjoy their job. Kudos to management for finding good workers. Thanks for always being so kind to my kids and I. Go here. Stay away from cash for cans.
I've been to Bottle Junction on Colvin Blvd. several times and had great service....until today. I walked up to the counter and stood there waiting for someone to come over. A gentleman walked in behind me and went a little further down the counter. A young man told him that he could help him. Meanwhile there are 3 other employees who are just ignoring me. Finally a girl with the fakest red hair came over and started counting the bottles. No greeting, no nothing. She didn't say a word to me until the end. If I encounter this type of service again I'll take my bottles elsewhere.
