My inspection, oil change, filter change, battery replacement, tire rotation, and wiper blade change were efficient and fast. Reasonable prices and friendly service as always.
Service was good for my son's BMW 3 but lying about transfer case oil change is really bad!
We agreed price of 280 dollars for the work and I even gave them VIN number to make sure they know which car we are talking about.
Later in I got a call from the manager telling me that he was thinking the car had 6 cylinders.
He was claiming that 4 cylinder transfer case oil change price is almost 500 dollars!
I did approve the cost because the job needed to be done
Later on I did talk with several people including BMW to find out that these people were lying!
Good work, nice people but not honest!

We are very pleased with Gerry's Service. We called for an estimate and they did some research and called back with a ballpark number that afternoon. In comparison, we called the dealer & were told that we'd have to bring the car in and it was $190 per hour to diagnose the problem. There wasn't much to "diagnose". Our dog snapped the windshield wiper control off at the steering column. Gerry's did the work quickly & for less than the estimate. They were great!
Gerry’s Automotive has excellent customer service. Bruce was very knowledge in every step of the way and he was very courteous with the feedback that we asked for. He was able to help us prioritize everything we need to service on our vehicle. Highly recommend this shop to any one in WNY.
I took my car to Gerry's for the first time last week for an oil change and a NYS inspection. The team was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the status of my car. I will be going back to them for my car needs!
After my tire broke loose from my car I was able to get towed to Gerry’s Auto Service. Everyone there was extremely professional. I received a thorough report of the work that needed to be done and was kept appraised of any new discoveries and the cost of these repairs.
Bruce is extremely knowledgeable and professional along with his staff. Bruce was able to get me in when I had a check engine light and check AWD light in one day. Bruce also was aware of my inspection sticker was about to expire and then took care of the inspection at the same time. Bruce also noticed my rotors were rusted and saved me on the labor since the tires were already off the car.

It’s like I have a brand new car. So much work was done to get my classic road worthy but it was worth it. I can’t wait until the spring to take it for a spin.
My Blazer had an issue with the 4 wheel drive. Its an old vehicle but I still use it almost daily. The issue was diagnosed and repaired on the day of my appointment. Older cars are not welcome at some shops, Bruce and his crew just fix them. Thanks!
Been going to Gerry’s for 3 years and have been very happy. I love that I drop the car off and they take me home, then pick me up when finished. They are very proactive to tell me my car needs to keep me safe on the road.
Y’all solved my front suspension problem. Yea! I also appreciate recommendations on future repairs. Hourly rates are a little steep, but you pay for quality. Ferrari is actually a little cheaper.

the labor is $204/hr. it's scam. they're taking my car to check wrong with the car when I already told them what is the problem and told me to pay $205 for nothing repaid
Bruce took excellent care of my classic as if he owned it himself! He gave it a test drive & gave it a complete once over. He explained to me everything that needed to be done, according to his findings. He gave me up front parts costs and labor costs. His estimate for length of time was pretty spot on too! He definitely does his homework on classic and specialty cars, digging in to the way things were actually built and installed in years past. I couldn't be happier! I'll definitely be taking my classic there in the future! Another plus that I really like was appointment setting! Great job, to Bruce and his entire staff, for making what could have been a nightmare into a dream come true!

Bruce and his crew at Gerry's Service are very well skilled and thoughtful. The service took longer than originally hope, but the quality was good. Parts were reasonable priced, labor cost were a little higher than I expected. I will surely come again!
I had purchased a Tesla Model 3 since December 2018. Every year I took the Tesla to Gerry Auto Service for New York State auto inspection. I am very pleased with their top notch service. They didn’t overcharge me. Every year for 6 years they charged me basically the same just for the cost of the NY inspection. This year they charged me for a set of new windshield wiper. In addition to the cost of NY inspection. I said I probably need to rotate the car, and Gerry said he wouldn’t suggest it, because sooner or later, I probably need a new set of tires, so why bother now. I agreed with him.
Bruce at Gerry’s Service was wonderful. He took time to explain what they were going to do, And what results I could expect. You know how everybody has a guy, I found my guy for auto repair, Gerry’s Service.
Terrific experience at Gerry's. They took a 40+ year old Vette which barely ran and turned it into a safe, fully functional and reliable driver. Can't thank Bruce and his crew enough for their great work.
Gerry’s takes great care of my car and has handled regular maintenance and a few unexpected fixes really well along the way. Best auto shop I’ve been to in the area.
Originally, I was given Gerry's service as a recommendation from the Rochester British Car Club. After contacting them, Bruce, the main service assistant, gave me a rough estimate of the process and timing for solving an inoperable engine issue. They're a very busy shop so it took longer to get in than I had planned, but they were able to schedule the initial checkup within three weeks. After the checkup, which took a day, they identified the carbs as the root cause and wanted to rebuild them. The estimate for that work was way more than I was hoping for, but I understood the work involved and the hourly rate and it made sense to have them do the work, it's why I was there in the first place.
After they performed the rebuild, the engine now runs like it supposed to, which was such a relief, as I had spent many hours trying to determine the issue myself, to no avail.
Would I recommend Gerry's to others? Yes I would, but as with any quality service these days, the time and hours are going to add up to a significant amount, but was exactly what he estimated. Thanks guys!
Ps... the only reason I gave them 4-stars was the long timeline and the fact that they didn't keep my car as well protected from the weather as I had expected (although in fairness, I'm not totally sure what they did, but it had leaves and debris in it- Roadster no top)
$175 Diagnostic fee
I towed vehicle there. They said $190.23 was the initial quote to repair a leaky transmission line. $1920 was then the revised estimate to replace a transmission cooling system because the line connectors were corroded where they met the cooling system. I said no and they charged me $175 before I towed it again to the dealership. The dealership performed the work for much less without touching the cooling system.
Gerry's essentially had a $15 incentive to perform the labor if the $190 quote was never revised to $1,920. I don't understand that.
Another note: Brie is extremely polite and knowledgeable for a receptionist. Bruce is knowledgeable. I will add a star for her.
We had the oil changed, car inspected, brakes adjusted and air conditioning repaired at Gerry's Services. They did an absolute great job on all of it. They inspected it and told us exactly what was wrong with an estimate of the time and cost to repair it. The car was fixed on time and less than their estimate. Great nob!
Very nice people. I needed an inspection done and I wanted to book an appointment since Im not a fan of the common “first come first serve” system. They happily booked me in about three weeks out which worked for me. They informed me that my brake pads and rotors barely passed inspection and they will need to be replaced pretty soon. They offered me a quote but I felt their prices were a bit high so I declined. It did take almost all day for the inspection to be complete, I didn’t mind, but I’d suggest planning your time accordingly.
I made an appointment to fix my signal since it was blinking fast. Paid for the work, little did I know it was only changed. The fender was damaged due to the headlight structure and the way the mechanic trued to repair. I told the owner it’s doing the same thing. And asked why is my fender disassembled? He said no problem it will pass inspection. I didn’t go there for an inspection. And he said. Come back and we’ll fix it when you have more time. I had to get somewhere. So on the second appointment, had asked to give my car a state inspection and fix the fast blinking signal, when I brought the car back, he told me we need all day to find the issue/problem. But they never said this when I made the appointment! I’m super baffled at the way they approached my issue. Obviously they just charged me money for not fixing my issue. Got my inspection sticker, but had to leave with the same signal issue. Made 2 appointments and no solve. I just hope next time there is an electrical issue I will find an electrician for autos to get the repair needed.
Excellent local business that I love supporting. They always go above and beyond with their customer service. I've made last minute appointments and even had them squeeze me in when I wasn't on the schedule. They're great at keeping you up to date, explaining their work and recommendations, watching out for their customers, and do great work. Haven't been anywhere since the first time I brought my cars here and won't be looking anywhere else. The vintage cars in their lot and license plates in their waiting room are a really cool, nostalgic touch as well. 10/10 business with a super friendly and skilled team.
One of the few people in WNY who can and will work on a classic car. My ‘74 Triumph Tr6 had an electric problem I could not fix. They fixed it in no time! Fast, reliable and fairly priced.
Just started using Gerry's Service a little while back. I found my experience to be fantastic. It is very difficult to find decent customer service now a days and to be honest I was blown away. From Melissa the Service Advisor to Bruce Weiss who worked on my vehicle. The entire experience from beginning to end I found to be second to none. The attention to detail and text messages, the follow up and super courteous staff. You can't get this kind of service now a days. Everything was very professional and very timely and extremely reasonably priced. Bottom line. Very happy and very impressed. On a side note I very rarely write reviews but this was a no brainer.
