Clean, bigger than when they were on South Park. Folks working are pleasant enough. Couple different faces, some familiar. Prices are good , I like the fact the prices are posted on the website.
Place does have good prices ut they will and do take advantage along atleast in my dealings but there right there and the prices from #1 to #2 aren't that big of difference for the little bit I bring in. When there not all together inside there way nicer and helpful and actually give you better deals. Everyone mentioned except Ken and Jose. Ken turned out to be the coolest and most helpful with tips besides Chuck. Jose by himself is better than when he's with the pack but overall the only complaint is they close to early.
This location needs to be updated. No longer here, moved to 637 Tiff street if I remember correctly.
Bad directions aside, once I got to the new location everything went incredibly smoothly. Metalico was excellent and made the unloading process very easy. Thank you
Chuck at the weighing station was very helpful. I was able to separate the sheet metal from cast iron and got a good rate. Nice way to get rid of some stuff and pick up some extra cash!
this place gone down hill. and since they think theyre dealing with a novice they just treat you like your not knowledgable. typical shady buffalo business takes advantage of people. go any where else than here.
This place used to be a fair place to take scrap to, still is on some occassions, though those times are only when the white haired gentleman takes care of you, or the shorter guy(been there for years).
But for some months now, they have a guy named Kenny, working with them. He is not fair, in the assessment of the metals. And for a fact, he scams people out of the true value, telling it is a different metal it will go in as, than what 'you' may think it should/really is.
And regardless of how friendly, respectful, or knowledgeble he acts. He is not honest at all. I loved using their recycling drop off, until it is that KENNY started working there. One worker can drop a company's whole reputation. And he is it.
fast got right on the scale. no wait to unload. scrap metal goes out side, aluminum, brass copper, etc goes into the building. fast courteous employees
Very courteous Staff. Very Very Clean, compared to most of the other scrap yards I have been to. In and out super fast too. Would recommend them highly!
They are very efficient in handling the various metal products that you have and provide a fair price for the items you are turning in.I thought the service was great and I was pleased to see the number of veterans that were employed there.
Checked web site on 4/19 to see if they were open the 20th. Site said open till 2:30. Checked again 4/20, and site said they were open until 11:15am. Loaded up my car, got there at 8:30am and place was closed. Need to update web site to reflect true hours, or at least put message on phone that you are closed.
Staff is very kind on my visits. In the context that I am not knowledgeable of the different scrap types I somewhat expect them to get frustrated with me. They do not get mad and that's why I always return.
CAROL!! Stop being a sensitive sally. This place by far the best scrap yard in the area. They always have top dollar for your scrap. Good people here and especially the cash out clerk Carol. Also CAROL, i thought you said you weren't coming back? Just saw you today CAROL! I told you the prices are too good to give up Carol...
been here twice, first time was impressed with the friendliness of the staff the cash out clerk could have bee a little nicer. second time apparently they were closed for inventory. I called to see why they were closed and was very rudely told they were closed for inventory and they had no control over the website hours. I won't go back.
