Absolutely garbage customer service. I was told my part was available for pickup and when I showed up to get it, it was not. Calling their customer service number is a nightmare. Ive been disconnected 3 times and it almost seems like someone is just hanging up the phone. Spend your money elsewhere.
You had better know, their policy before showing up. They will run you around like a blind librarian, and get a kick out it. You have this old boy tell you it's still in the car ...he's in Michigan, then another sales associate in Ohio, will lead you to believe she is local. Be careful who you give your card number to, they will order a pizza with it. Total disarray, , confused.. good luck
Incredibly bad customer service! I called twice, the first time they just hung up. The second time they recommended to call my local LKQ, but could not provide a number. I don't know how they can sell.
Customer service used to be much more professional before. Now, the way they talk over the phone give the impression that they don't get paid enough to be a little nicer. They take months to issue refunds for returned part cores.
Iffy service but the prices are very good.
PROTIP: go on EBay and look for LKQ selling the part you need.Prices are always 10-50% less than you will be quoted.
Call LKQ and explain the item number and price...tell them you'll pay that price and 98% of the time that is the price you'll pay. If you get the one miserable fugg that wont budge, hit the buy it now and go get it.
Iffy service?
Ordered an alternator LKQ selling on eBay for 2005 up F150, showed 8 available. They quoted me $75 over phone I told them I'll just bid buy it now $45 on the one on EBay and pickup in an hour. She (Samantha) relented and said no worries just stop in and we will honor the $45.price
45 min drive later I pays my money to Nichole and drop off a core (not the oem core but another core - they dont care much abt cores except you MUST bring one) they send me around back to the warehouse to pickup, I did...guy took off on a forklift brought it back, I opened the box and it had a slight grind that would wear in quick.
Major problem tho. Its out of a 1997 F150 4.6 And I asked for and ordered 2005 F150 5.4 totally different style and mount alternator. Girl in warehouse walks over to "look it up" (logs into Facebook) says "Yeap, it'll fit" I'm looking at my reciept which states 2005 F150 4.6 (which will fit) but 1997 won't
Instead of arguing with her keeping them from their social media time, I figured I might be able to pull the front cover off my old 2005 alternator and make it work for the 1997 alternator. (Both are pcm controlled) and it seems most electrical parts from LKQ include the plugs and wiring with a few inches of wire on them, which is incredible value...
That 1997 alternator was almost identical except the top bracket and mount. So no go..
Call LKQ, speak to John who immediately threatened to force me to have a beer.l He could hear the frustration in my voice. He said "hang on" after abt 40 seconds got back on the line and said "not sure how they funked that order up, it says yr make model.. He then tells me they have nothing in stock.
Yay! Now I'm stuck with a worthless pa- John says " I'll have one here at 7am tomorrow. Be here at 8 am- fair enough?" Well thats better than a sharp stick in the eye!
Next day I show up at 10 am - because I KNOW had I shown up at 8 am I would have been standing around for a half hour while they tracked down the alternator. 10am Nicole had the alternator next to her desk..30 mins later (shoulda came at 8 am) they figured out some computer issue and sent me on my way with the correct 45 dollar used alternator.
** the alternator had a NAPA NEW sticker 11/4/19 date code - $384.39 with tax and core
I got a $400 alternator for 90% off. And burned 2.9 gallons of fuel and 2.75 hours.(I live a ways away) and a 180 day warranty on a lifetime warranty NAPA alternator.

In closing...great place for all your auto and truck parts...especially body parts and electrical...also complete pan to intake engines and transmissions with the cheapest prices and excellent warranties.
I have friends in the biz (used parts) that I always hit first...but if they dont have it, LKQ / Keystone is a sure thing.
I've bought crash and collision parts from LKQ/Keystone for years...best part about them is when I order say a door a fender or bumper cover, even a hood, if I quote the color code 75% of the time I'll get a matching color part, saving myself and the customer in some cases thousands of dollars in paint and labor.
