My car got towed by the Amherst police the case ended up being thrown out immediately. This company came to tow it to their lot. Try to get them on the phone for two days. Can I get a hold of them? Finally the manager called me or the owner and told me I shouldn’t be a criminal scumbag, then proceeded to tell me to come to the Delaware location and he’ll beat me up. Lol. How he has a better house and car than me and I’m such a loser lolI have all the calls recorded and I’m sending them to the attorney general. Will see if we can get them moved from impounds for state contracts. Other employees were awesome. This happened over the summer, just haven’t had the time to report this. Call anyone but this place unless you want to pay the highest amounts and be threatened, and berated. Owner/manager is the only bad one that I’ve dealt with. They other works were awesome. I ended up getting a 50% discount because they know he always acts like this but that’s not the point.
Don't call, don't trust! They will damage your vehicle and lie about it!! My car roll in the street ( important note rolled into the street)in North Tonawanda . NT Police called United Towing to tow it there impound yard on a Saturday morning. Tired all day Saturday leaving messages to pick up the car because 75.00 per day storage. Finally someone called stating can't pick up till Monday . Tried to pick up the car on Monday and the car could not move! I could not move the steering wheel more than a few inches and the car would not roll! We had to call another tow truck to pick up the car or they would tow it back into the lot the next day.. When United Towings driver dragged the vehicle on to the flat bed tow truck he wrapped the hook, strap around the tie rod ends an not the frame and bent the rack and pinion . I understand things happen ! I called the United towing and they had the manager or owner call me back . Manager or owner did call me back and quickly stated it was like that when he picked it up. I explained the vehicle rolled out of a driveway and now wont roll or drive at all!! He stated he had pictures and the driver stated it was like that when he picked it up.I stated fine send me a copy he stated no, take me to court . So thats where Im . Don't walk away from United towing RUN!!! I assume all locations are the same with the same owner
DO NOT let the Amherst PD or ANYONE tow your car here if you can at all help it. They do not answer their phones, their answering services do not forward messages to their workers or the workers just ignore them. It's intentional to rack up exorbitant daily storage fees for not picking up your car. I was told no one was on site, but when I drove there anyway, guess what... full team of workers there.
