Redl's Towing was opened in 1996 with one truck and one driver. Through the years, we have grown, now we have 5 drivers and 4 trucks. We tow and provide roadside assistance for nearly every auto and light truck manufacturer, as well as many of the local police agencies in the area. We have been towing the same stretch of the Taconic Parkway for nearly 2 decades. After being stood up twice by another towing company, Greg from Redl’s came through and completely saved the day. He arrived promptly, was incredibly kind, and went above and beyond — even managing to remove my tire with stripped lug nuts when others couldn’t. Matt Ripo was amazing! Not only did he get my car to start he explained a lot more of what was going on with several automotive issues. I am very grateful for his expertise. Rendl family should be very proud of him. Wish I could always call on The Rendl's Towing through AAA but there's always issues about who comes to service you in the Hudson Valley.
Greg came within 10 minutes of me calling and was INCREDIBLY nice and efficient. Within 10 seconds of sitting in my car he was able to diagnose the issue which was very helpful for when we dropped it off at an Autoshop. Greg was very personable, making the trip to the Autoshop enjoyable and quick! As someone who gets anxious when it comes to dealing with car troubles, he made it feel pretty painless.

I had a really tough situation when my car broke down about 3 miles from my campsite. It was late at night, and I was feeling pretty stressed about everything. Thankfully, Towing Truck Mike showed up and turned my night around.
Mike was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Not only did he tow my car, but he also took my friend and me to the campsite without charging us .I was genuinely surprised by his kindness during such a challenging time.

I had an amazing experience with this towing company! My car was completely stuck — the doors were locked, the battery was dead, and my tires were low on air. They showed up quickly and handled everything on the spot: unlocked my car, jumped the battery, and even inflated my tires so I could safely get back on the road. The technician Mike was professional, friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. I really appreciated how thorough and efficient the service was. Definitely recommend them if you ever find yourself in a tough situation!
The Guys at Redl’s Are always the kindest, most reliable service that I have used. I have AAA and I always request that they send Redls as I know that I will receive sound advice, courtesy, safety, and having them go out of their way to make sure that my experience is positive. My car died on route 9 and I’m sure Anyone that knows that road knows you don’t want to be stuck there. The gentleman that came was beyond knowledgeable and was able to identify the issue immediately just upon my description. He was kind enough to make sure to leave a note with my service center, and ensure that I got home safely. Don’t use any other tow service! Make sure that you choose the best and ensure that safety and satisfaction is first and foremost!
I’ve had to use Redl’s Towing twice recently for roadside assistance with flat tires, and both times the service was exceptional. Mike from Redl’s came out and was amazing! I was given a two-hour window by AAA but he was there in 5 minutes. He explained everything he was doing with my truck to me and my friends and we had a few laughs in the process. Three different jumps were attempted before I called for help but he had to go through the floor in the truck which was interesting and good to know. 10/10 service and I was so relieved it wasn’t something serious and we were able to drive off.

We were in Poughkeepsie for a nearby memorial service and decided to walk over the Hudson and stay overnight after a long day. When we came out of a restaurant after dinner, our car wouldn’t start. We were far from home and didn’t know anyone or nearby repair shops. Eric came to the rescue through a call to AAA. He communicated well, arrived quickly and couldn’t have been nicer. He got our car started, gave us great information and recommendations, and was so kind. In a situation where we could have easily been taken advantage of, Eric was honest, helpful and a calming voice. I kept is card but hopefully won’t need it again. Highly recommend if you need a tow.
Thursday night my car starting making odd sounds while i was pressing on the gas & was barely moving. I called for a tow, was told they would be at my location anytime from “now to an hour”. Five minutes later I got a call from the tow driver Eric and he said he was 10 minutes away. When he arrived he was so kind, (i’m a female and it was dark outside and he made me feel safe). He hooked my car onto the tow and off he went to my drop off location. The whole process with this company and Eric was quick and efficient. Another shout out to Eric for getting me from being stuck on the side of the road. Would highly recommend doing business with them!

My car's alternator decided to cause me problems and my past experiences with triple AAA have been terrible. When I called for roadside assistance I wasn't expecting everything to go fast at all. But then Eric from Redl's Towing came and saved my evening! He arrived on time, was direct and clear, understanding, and extremely knowledgeable about the roads and knew exactly where to go. I needed a ride back and the ride back in the truck was exceeding my expectations. It was nice to have a conversation with him the whole way from Poughkeepsie to Dover and I felt comfortable the whole entire time. My car was towed without issue in a quick and efficient manner, which surprised me greatly, I had to leave a good review for Eric. Greg is an ANGEL. He arrived on the scene so fast, towed us to a nearby lot, and then fixed our car enough to drive the rest of the way. He was so kind, and it made the whole experience of our car breaking down on the Taconic on our way to a vacation, actually pleasant, if you can believe it. When a tree fell on my car while driving on the Taconic, I wasn’t sure who to call or what to do. Luckily the trooper called Redl’s towing. Craig picked up me, my car and my two dogs. He was personable and courteous, and even helped me wrangle my bigger dog who was rambunctious after the accident. He brought me to a local diner and waited with me for my father-in-law. He made a traumatic experience much less difficult.
Greg was not only the fastest I've ever seen anybody get to me, but one of the most professional workers and provided the most executive service possible. I owe him my entire day it was a pleasure to meet him in this life! Hope to see him again
Had a very positive experience with them after using roadside assistance. Very quick to arrive. I had forgotten to leave my key and Mike patiently waited while I came back to drop the key off. Very personable and made the whole situation much easier than I expected.
My experience with Redl's this week was exceptional. My vehicle broke down and was left at a gas station near my home. The dispatcher was courteous, concerned, and efficient. The operator, Mike, called me within 10 minutes to keep me posted of his ETA and offered sound advice regarding the condition of the vehicle . Redl's was timely, friendly, and knowledgeable. If I could give them six stars, I would! ;)
