I wanna start by saying I don’t ever write reviews anywhere at all ever! So with that being said the fact that I’m writing a review for CountyWide Towing says a lot! But I just had to because the service they provide is awesome. They definitely go above and beyond and out of their way not just to service you but to make sure you’re good all the way through whatever process you’re dealing with that has you needing a tow truck. My tow truck driver‘s name was Jonnie and I had a car accident about a week ago and he still text’s me following up and making sure I’m good and his father Scott went out of his way to meet me at the yard to let me empty out my vehicle some places don’t even let you see your car again until you pay for it. So yeah, if you ever need a tow place, they’re your guy!
I was in a terrible situation in a terrible area of poukeepsie last night. My van went flat in a high risk area. Triple aaa sent guys who left me stranded in a dangerous area where the cops had to come and protect me. The owners of county wide cane and got me and supported me through this hell. They gave me a ride home at one am with my four dogs in tow. We went through so much trauma because of triple aaa negligence and these owners rescued us. Due to County wide towing I have renewed faith in humanity. Thank you guys and my therapy dogs thank you !!!!! Xxxoo
First of all when I called them the dispatcher had the tow truck driver over in less than 10 minutes. The tow truck driver was very nice. He gave me an eta and took very good care of my car. He called when the car was at its destination. Fast and reliable service!
Crooks! Did a tow yesterday (11 miles) to drop a totaled truck off at our home after a hit and run. Charged us $800 and told us that was a DEAL…apparently normal rate is $1800 for a tow these days!? Unbelievable and nasty owner. Wouldn’t drop the truck unless we paid CASH. Don’t use this tow company!
Probably wouldnt use them again. The dispatcher was sweet as pie but the actual driver was a jerk. He was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Price was comprable but I honestly would have paid more to be treated better.
Got stuck on the side of 9, burnt my tire right off the wheel. Jonnie came in a quick, timely manner and got my car up smoothly. He was so friendly and courteous about the whole situation. Nicest tow truck driver I’ve ever met! Gave me advice about my wheel, made me feel better about it, and did everything in an efficient manner while still practicing diligence.
Julie went above and beyond for me from the time my car got towed to her facility until my car was picked up by the insurance company!!! 5 stars and amazing customer service Thank you so much!!!
When driven off the road in a hit and run, Countywide showed up to the rescue without having to phone them. Completely grateful for this late night help in a stressful time! Thank you!
I didn’t catch the guy who came outs name, he towed a vehicle I sold for me. Nicest tow truck driver I’ve ever had!! The women on the phone was very nice and helpful. I appreciate the service they provided. Wish I could’ve given him a tip!
I had car problems where I wasn't able to drive. I called Countywide towing to have my car dropped off in Poughkeepsie. Mike arrived at a reasonable time. He was friendly and very helpful! Thank you!
On 1/3/21 Mike Hacksteiner from countywide helped pull me out of a snow bank. They were fast, professional and courteous. I recommend them for any of the services that they provide.

After the 4th of July fireworks our car wouldn’t start. The tow company with the closest address that I called said they didn’t deal with my Honda (too small for them). A second one just had an answering machine. But County Wide Towing came through with flying colors. Mike Hacksteiner pulled up within 10-15 minutes, pulled out his booster battery, and in a moment all was well. NOTE: My call to County Wide was on a HOLIDAY night – 10:53pm. And Mike was on his way in less than 5 minutes. Put their number in your contact list – just in case. It’s never happened to me before – but I’m ready now. Thanks Mike. It was a relief to get back “on the road again.”
I had an accident and thankfully it was Mike from countywide that stop to see if I was OK he checked me he checked my car told me what was going to happen and gave me a great shop to bring my car to I would recommend them to anybody at any time I’ve never been treated with such respect and caring from a tow truck company as I was for Mike at countywide thank you again Mike and County wide towing you guys were amazing

Mike was my guardian angel!! I was stuck in the snow on Hollow Rd in Staatsburg which is a very dangerous curvy road. No one stopped to help not even the Sheriff's department BUT Mike turned around and came back to help me.
It was very difficult to get my car out . Mike worked almost 30 minutes to pull my car out. Then when I wanted to tip him he didn't want the tip. But I insisted it was the least I could do to repay his kindness.
Mike was very polite and patient. People were driving by almost hitting him and cursing but he just kept doing his job.

We have used this company many times and have always been pleased with the service they have provided. My son has a low profile car and they took great care in making sure it wasnt damaged while being loaded on the flat bed.
My mother was in a car accident a few weeks ago. When i pulled up, she was sitting in the tow truck, plus it was pouring raining out. I trully appreciate Mike and his partner. They were kind and courteous from beginning to end. Very helpful and thoughtful. I would recommend them to any one. May your bussiness continue to prosper and may you all be blessed.
Dispatcher told me I was an idiot for being on road during snow. Felt I had to explain I had no choice.
Asked how long it would take to get to me and was quoted 40 minutes which was understandable after two hours called another service and they responded in 25 minutes. I understand how bad reviews affect real people but they deserve everything they get. I wasn't even going to do a review until I saw this post they made. With so many other choices to make it's a wonder people like this are still in business if this is how they feel about their customers who knows how they run their business.
