It all began on a fog-soaked October evening when I pulled into Romano Ford, the headlights of my old car flickering like a dying heartbeat. I wasn’t sure what I’d find inside—but I never expected them. Manager Mike greeted me first—his handshake firm, his smile just a little too knowing. “You’re here for the Maverick, aren’t you?” he said before I’d even spoken. How did he know? Then came Deyaa—the salesperson with a calm confidence that could soothe even the most haunted of customers. He led me through the showroom, every step echoing across the polished floor like a heartbeat in the dark. The lights dimmed slightly as we reached the 2025 Ford Maverick AWD Hybrid—its metallic paint gleaming like moonlight on a knife’s edge. As I sat behind the wheel, I swear I heard whispers. Not scary ones—more like voices from satisfied customers long past, urging me to sign the papers. “Join us…” they murmured. Mike appeared again, paperwork in hand. The deal was too good. Suspiciously good. I half-expected the pen to drip blood when I signed, but instead it flowed smoothly—like destiny itself. By the time I drove off the lot, the fog had lifted. The Maverick purred beneath me, its hybrid heart beating strong and true. Whatever spell Romano Ford cast that night—it worked. I’m obsessed with this truck. If you dare to enter Romano Ford, ask for Deyaa. Speak to Mike. And prepare yourself—for a car-buying experience so good, it’s almost supernatural.

Just letting everyone know that this dealership charges significantly above MSRP for parts. I called for a quote on Rotors for my Ford vehicle and they wanted a 30% markup over MSRP for each rotor. Crazy. The next thing you know they will be leaving a tip jar out on the parts counter :).

Well…. Brand new F150 Tremor… drove it home (23 miles) and it died. Had to be towed back to dealer. They have had it for 2 weeks. No calls, no updates….. Jury is out in this one…. You’d think spending 80K+ would get you some level of service.

My vehicle (2018 Ford) has been in and out of the shop since November for the same issue and each time it has taken a minimum of at least 2 week only to be returned to me with the same issue. No one contacts me unless I call them first for an update. To say I am disappointed and fed up is an understatement! I am highly disappointed with the service and lack of communication received. I just want my car repaired CORRECTLY!!!

This is the fifth car we bought from Romano. We live in Ithaca, the land of Maguire car dealership, and I’ve never had a good experience with McGuire. Romano has always been truthful patient random numbers for us and I’ve always walked out of their feeling like I got a good deal on something that’s safe and I’m I’ve always been extremely happy. We actually ordered a car to Romano during Covid and I don’t think they even realized it was coming, but they did everything to work with us to pick that up and it was such a good experience. 2 experiences with Romano Ford to share. The first involved a Ford Taurus which we brought in for vibrations in the front. They charged us the service fee to look at it and came back and said, "You need new tires!" I said, "it has brand new tires!" But they insisted it needed new tires. SMH. Anyways, we took it somewhere else and they installed new struts and that fixed the problem. But we Got scammed out of the service fee at Romano Ford, to look at it. The next involved a new key for a Ford Fusion. Romano Parts department quoted us $269.00 for the key and $180.00 to program it!!! Plus tax!!!! So basically $500 for a new key! We went to Fradon Lock and they got a new key and they did whatever needed to be done as far as programming for $59!!!!! $59 vs $500!!!! I understand "overhead", "dealership expenses" blah blah blah AND I also understand lack of empathy and getting raked over the coals. U guys are a bunch of scam artists.

I recently purchased a new car from Romano Ford and the entire process was fantastic. Dan Hamad reached out to me immediately after I had submitted interest in a vehicle they had on the lot, and took care of everything, including finalizing all the details and completing the final paperwork with me only a few days later. He was so helpful and efficient, it was the best experience buying a vehicle I’ve ever had. Love the car, and look forward to buying my next vehicle from Dan and Romano Ford.

Made an appointment to get car fixed. It has a ton of things wrong with it and it is a 2024 bronco. This includes door window issues, anti crash detection issues, 4X4 issues, a ton of recalls and possibly transmission issues. They know this once I placed the appointment. After a week in the shop, an accident. I had to get my car. They have done ZERO things to it. Their excuse? The one transmission mechanic wasn’t available. But, what about all the other issues? Logically speaking, you make an appointment to get the vehicle seen right away. That’s what the appointment is for. Then they fix what they can and wait for what they can’t. If they knew it needed one specific mechanic why not make the appointment for when he was available? They said it probably doesn’t have transmission issues. Then why are we waiting for the transmission mechanic? The manager was absolutely unprofessional. Threatened me TWICE. In the week that it was there they couldn’t even fix a window that was not aligned properly. This place is a joke. I’ve bought many cars from them and will never step foot in this place again. Every car I have bought from here has severe issues. I told him that I was going to report him to Ford, he laughed. Turns out Ford directly sends the report to them and nothing gets done. No wonder he was laughing. They’re untouchable. Don’t even try sending your car here!

I had a very well enjoyable experience buying a car from the Romanos. Dan made my car selection and purchase one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a car dealership. Very nice and understanding and patient if I didn’t understand something he was more than willing to explain it to me and I found that very helpful. 10/10 recommend if your buying a car go look for Dan at Romano ford!

So you all probably saw my post on my new/used truck. I just have to tell you that in all my years of buying vehicles from dealerships, this is the very first time that I felt good about my purchase. Never had I left a dealership feeling like I had a good experience until now. Romano Ford in Fayetteville did so right by me. Not only did I get a beautiful used truck, they also put all new brakes, rotors, and tires on it!!! WHAT!! Yep, I will never ever go anywhere else. They treated me very very well and made sure I was happy with the sale. Thank you to my salesman Dan! I totally support them and tell you all, give them a shout out if you’re looking for a new or used vehicle!!

I went to Romano's because of their reputation of being a good company to work with. I had just totaled my car and Steve at Romano VW was quick to sell me the Golf I was there to look at. Due to the previous car being totaled I asked for Gap insurance Steve told me it was not available on this car due to the worth. I believed him. Fast forward 4 months and my car was hit and totaled again. However, the payoff is $3000 more than the worth. The bank stated that I signed off on not wanting the Gap insurance. So not only did he tell me I couldn't have Gap Insurance he snuck a paper in, that I signed, saying I didn't want it. (I should have read the forms closer) When I called to discuss this the sales manager he simply said I signed the form. Just want to warn people who may be dealing with this salesman to be careful. I know I will never return to any Romano's dealership again,

Zero star if google would let me. Do not buy or have this place work on your car or truck. Bought my 2022 F250 here and have had issues since day one. My truck was here for 21 day consecutively this time. My truck has been in the shop over all for 7 weeks now. With 28k miles one it. Came back broken and charged for work not completed and unnecessary. I took my truck to another dealership and they verified everything that I said was true. This place super glued a vacuum line under my hood which if it fell off/ cracked I would off lost my brakes on my truck I was told by the other dealership. This dealership has the worst costumer service. They charged me for an oil change that was never done. My tires were never rotated, also Broke off and never re installed my heat shields on my transmission which still is not fixed and is worse now then be for. This place is a hack and untrustworthy. I can’t be the only person they have done this too. Both manager in the building say they completed the work and refuse to give me my money back. My truck has been at another dealer for 9 day and still do not have it back nor a vehicle to drive at this time. I us my truck for my job everyday to make money and don’t have a truck to do the work I bought it for.

He made sure that I was completely happy with my purchase of my 2024 Ford Raptor. Nick made the process very smooth, answered every question I had and made sure I was taken cared of. Great experience purchasing my Lightning at Romano Ford. I'd heard lots of stories of surprise fees and markups on the Lightning at various other dealers but none of that at Romano. I've also had various fees mentioned at the last minute at other dealerships for other vehicle purchases of my own, and again, none of that at Romano Ford. Jeff and Mike were a pleasure to work with. I'd happily go the extra mile for such a fair and straightforward purchasing experience in the future.

If you are in the market for a new ford or volkswagon or a used car, i would recommend duane. I worked with him on and off for several years and he has the patience of job. He finally convinced me to special order, and he far exceeded my expectations. He also got me top dollar for my trade. It is nice to have best in industry customer service in such a competitive market. At no point did i feel pressured or rushed. I have been a romano customer for over twelve years and they have always maintained an open and honest policy. This is a dealer i keep returning to because of the relationship that the staff at romano has built with me. Thank you Romano!!

I had an excellent experience at Romano Ford in Fayetteville with the purchase of my 2022 Ford Bronco. I made a deal for the special order of a Bronco Base in January ‘22 and it was delivered 3 months later. They honored the deal made. Negotiating the market for a Bronco is tough at the moment with chip shortages, but the sales guys were up front about the potential for delay and what I might do to mitigate those delays, as well as the price to be paid- MSRP. I wrapped up the deal with Jeff Noble. I lucked out getting the vehicle as early as I did, but some of that luck came with going with Romano.

Great experience! This is our third lease with Romano Ford and every single time the customer service is 10/10! We’ve worked with Dan Hamad each time and he has truly made us feel like family! He has gone out of his way to get things done and to get us exactly what we wanted each time. Cannot recommend Romano Ford (and especially Dan) enough!
