Sat up and sold at Waltons historical society's harvest fest sale. It was a great show, well run, with great volunteers to help. Tons if vendors, great food trucks, great live music
The fair was awesome! There were so many thing's to do here. The whole family found something that interested them. The entertainment is always great. I have never been dissapointed.
A fun experience with extensive displays and exhibits...relating to all aspects of local agriculture. Plus a overwhelming plethora of vendors and fair food opportunities. This truly a memorable farm fair experience for young and old.
Coming to the Delaware County Fair from Long Island has been a summer family staple for years now.
Unfortunately, it has progressively become worse and worse. The rides are subpar at best, $1 Tuesday’s no longer exists, and everything from parking to park entrance is run by rude, arrogant teenagers. Parking is terrible anyway as it is, just endless rows of cars, and you’ll likely end up walking a mile to the actual fair in the blazing sun.
Only things that are still enjoyable include seeing and interacting with the animals, and the vendors.
I mean, it's fun and all to see the "fairgrounds" being used, and smelling alllll those food stands.
But my GOD!!!! It's ridiculously OVERPRICED!! I've noticed over the past 5 years that the fair itself has gotten smaller, and the prices are through the roof. I can't imagine that "fair" being there too much longer. Ohhh I almost forgot forgot alll the damn Confederate flags and tHump flags; I felt like "people of color" were not welcome.

This was a very emotional day for me. My Dad would take us here every year for many years. I haven't been back since he passed. On top of a recent heartbreak from a break up and missing my Dad, yeah .... Tough day . As for the fair, small but nice. Plenty of rides, food and events.
Best fair I've ever been to, but you'll want to get the map of the fair because it's very easy to get lost! The 'Kangaroo Encounter' was by far the best $10 ever spent! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This was such an experience! Loved seeing all the animals. I even got hold a baby Joey, it was fantastic. All the vendors were nice and very helpful. Can't wait til next year!
A beautiful event that is a breath of fresh air. This is a wonderful event. A country fair with a large agricultural influence. Held in a beautiful town called Walton, NY. Many things to see with a lot of memories to be made. Pictures will come next week.
Last year the fair was better, this year most of the rides are spinning rides which is not all that people wish to enjoy. Also I heard several people complain that there is no benches to rest on not good for the elderly.the rides are also all smudged together so not able to see who's in line for which rides. Also they charge $8 admission and 25 for rides way to much for the few rides they have
We absolutely love this fair. Best fair within 2 hours of our house. And yes we are willing to travel 2 hours to a good fair. We do not do rides, but there is so much entertainment and shopping to keep use occupied for hours. And we never miss the modified tracker pulls.
The Delaware County fair is the best in the area. Agriculture, art, engines, music, amusement rides, heroes parade, fireworks, and much more. Something for everyone.
