My wife and I talk all 3 of our vehicles to Ron's for mechanical work. They are quick, professional and easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone.

Saved my life today!!!!! My car got a flat tire in the middle of the highway to Ithaca. They answer the phone immediately and send the driver to us in 30 minutes. I got a low car so the driver operates the truck very carefully to avoid scratching my front bumper. Thanks to Alex who helped us out and give us a ride back to home. I also used AAA to save me a bunch of money. Def a 5 star!!!!

Fast friendly service that I highly recommend! I was stuck in water after sliding on black ice into a ditch and the person who rescued me put me at ease as soon as he reached out that he was on his way.

Great place to go for all your needs. Staff very friendly. Been going through them for years and they put osheas to shame. Prices are accurate and they do not over charge you. If they mess up, they don't hesitate to make it right. I suggest everyone give them a shot before any repair place in Cortland county.

The worst company KNOWN to man they took my car overnight without letting me know to come get it. Not only did they still not work on it they continued to lie and make it seem as if they’re checking it out but sitting on their asses while my cars in the same exact spot.

My experience with Ron's Body and Paint was nothing short of a nightmare. After a severe collision on the interstate, our vehicle was towed by this company, and what followed was a complete failure in customer service and responsibility. Despite assurances that the vehicle would be parked in a secure lot, it was instead abandoned across the street, far from their main building and outside the range of their security cameras. This negligence led to the theft of approximately $1,500 worth of items from our vehicle. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was met with indifference and told they weren't responsible for lost or stolen items. This dismissive attitude is appalling and reflects a total lack of accountability and professionalism. Ron’s Body and Paint has demonstrated a shocking disregard for customer property and safety. Their actions—or lack thereof—are inexcusable, and their customer service is abysmal. I will never use their services again, and I urge others to steer clear of this business. If their towing service is this careless, I shudder to think about the quality of their body and paint work. This experience has earned Ron's Body and Paint a well-deserved 1-star review. Their unprofessionalism and failure to take responsibility are utterly unacceptable.

Ron’s really saved me. I broke down at 7PM and their AAA affiliate tow driver, Jesse, was there within 5 mins. He brought me to Ron’s and gave me a ton of advice on what I should do since I was 3 hours from home. Ron’s had my car in first thing the next morning and got it fixed for a fair price. It was 100 degrees out and had no options, they had every opportunity to take advantage of that situation and did not. Thank you again Jesse and Ron’s!

If you car breaks down on I81 have it taken to Ron’s in Marathon very good shop, can’t say enough. I filled my vehicle with gas while in Pulaski and this fuel got me to Marathon where my vehicle shut down and left me parked along Interstate 81. I guess it was fate I ended at Ron’s . Kurt and his staff took me under their wings and got me settled in the local inn. Diagnosed my vehicle with a bad fuel pump caused by bad fuel. They repaired my vehicle the next day and had me back on the road. If this should happen to anyone else feel comfortable knowing there are people like these people in this tiny town Marathon that actually care. If Kurt and his staff read this thank you.

Jessie came out on a AAA call. My truck needed a tow back to my house. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Great outfit highly recommended.

I was able to call and talk to someone, explain the situation with my daughters car, and text pictures to get an estimate of required repairs. After realizing it was worth fixing and getting some parts on my own so I could move it again, I called back on a Thursday morning just before they opened to see if I could drop it off. Not only did they say yes, but they got it on the lift later that afternoon and started working on it. The new strut, wheel bearing, alignment, and 4 new tires were done by Friday evening. My wife and I are used to scheduling work with our dealer out 1-3 weeks minimum regardless of what the work involves, let alone having to order in parts.

Most helpful and friendly. Our towing was expedited and they accommodated our needs, so we could continue our vacation. To Ron's Body & paint, thank you one and all .

11/10/22, my car had a flat on I-81 South. I was able to pull off the highway into Marathon, NY where a local resident highly recommended Ron's Body & Paint. Boy oh boy was he right! Kurt and Michelle went above and beyond in helping me since I was 4 hours away from home. They made several phone calls on my behalf, found a used tire, had it delivered, replaced my tire and then didn't want to charge me! I insisted they charge me, and the amount was incredibly low. They have restored my faith in humanity. Amazing people. No wonder there are so many wonderful reviews about this company. Ron raised his son Kurt correctly and taught his employees well. There is an old saying that says: "No one cares how much you know until you know how much they care." God bless this company, it's owners and its' employees. I brought Jeep in for a heater core replacement and it as well as it needed a distributor box the shop replaced them and after getting my car back and driving my car started smoking due to the mechanics not tightening the clamps/hoses on the coolant lines going to the firewall. Very displeased with this shop I paid over $1100 for them to not fix it properly.

They were helpful and efficient. We popped a tire, they were able to get us in immediately to get us back on the road within an hour. Superb service, especially with three small children and two dogs in a car.

For a short period of time I trusted these guys. They seem to be capable of handling simple things like wheel mounting, balancing and alignments.Then I had wheel bearings replaced at the shop in Marathon. When I called them and told them that there was still an issue with the car the next morning they told me that I was wrong and that I could bring it back in but it wouldn't be for another week. Since I'm not a fan of wasting money on routine maintenance like brakes and so on and so forth I went to go do my brakes this afternoon 4 days after having the work done there and realized that while changing the spindle assembly for my wheel bearings they shredded a CV boot and installed old spindle nuts on that weren't properly crimped or torqued, and noticed the CV shaft on the right side (the one that was wobbling) has roughly a quarter inch of play and is slinging grease inside my right tire. I won't be bringing the car back to them. My wife and child drive in this vehicle everyday. Also earlier this winter I was stuck in the parking lot at work less than two miles down the road from their shop and called them for a tow after I personally witnessed their tow truck driver standing in the gas station parking lot not even filling the tank. Almost 2 hours later he seemed to be fraternizing with somebody he knew instead of helping people when he's getting paid exorbitant amounts of money during a snowstorm. All I needed was a winch out. It seems like it's hard to find a good mechanic these days.

They have been great and will try to get you in as soon as possible. I have used them befor for mine and my wife's car both under insurance claims and theyve been very helpful and kind, they are usually speedier than the big companies near by too. The women at the front desk was very courteous and understanding in a stressfull situation.

Fantastic service. Shane was great. Very nice guy. My husband n I were very happy with his service. We would highly recommend him. We appreciated the ride to Watertown,ny n all he did. We give this company 5 stars.

Service was done quick. That's the only good thing I have to say. This company takes advantage of people in stressful situations. I was charged $140 just to have my car unlocked, and I was within a few miles of their location, so it's not like they had a long drive to get to me. It took the technician more time to fill out the paperwork than it did to unlock the car. The fact that I paid $140 for five minutes of service is highway robbery. They should be ashamed of themselves for how much they charge people.

Fantastic service! We blew out a rear tire on our RV which also ripped off the exhaust support bracket (pretty scary on RT 81). We limped off the nearest exit of RT 81 and called Triple A. A service truck from Ron's arrived within 15 minutes and directed us to the shop which was only about a half mile from where we had ended up. The service people were friendly and professional and in no time, had mounted the spare and re-attached the exhaust system so we could get back on the road safely to reach our destination. Thanks again Ron's!

I called Ron's a week ago for some car repairs. Michele was very pleasant and got in the next day for a look. I made arrangements to bring my car back on a Sunday and pick up the rental car. Chris met me there on his day off so I wouldn't have to miss work. Picked up my car and it was Beautiful and back to normal. They even cleaned my car inside and out. My experience with there shop has been wonderful and if I ever need body shop work done, they will be the ones doing it.

My daughter ran out of gas during a snowstorm on her way home from work. A friend picked her up to get gas and although she left a note that she would be right back, her car had been towed. She called in the morning to pick up her car. It could not be released because the police officer worked nights and he had to release it. I asked if I would have to pay for an extra day and was told no by the police. Even though I was available and able to pick up the car in the morning the car was not released for two days. I came to pick the car up Saturday morning only to find out Ron’s is closed on the weekend. Ron’s charged a 20 year old student $480 for the towing and storage even though she tried to get gas and come right back. Ron’s would not work with me and I would never get any work done there.

Very impressed! I had a tire blow out when I was running late to work. Called AAA and Ron's was sent. Shane Gleason arrived in less than 30 minutes. I thought the car would need a tow, but he got the tire changed out with the spare without incident. Ron's also got me a new tire the same day for only $150 WITH SERVICE, and offered me an appointment the same day. Your hard work is much appreciated!

The work they did on repairing my car after an accident was amazing. Chris is always friendly and kind. He goes out of his way to help customers. Even drove my car to the Cortland shop for an estimate after I was injured and couldn’t take it myself.

My truck broke down in the 81N and I was connected with Ron’s Autobody through my Insurance co. I was soooo scared being on the side of the highway but I was picked up within 15mins!! I also had my car serviced and was back on the road in 2hours!! The prices were very fair ... I was a little nervous being that I was in an unknown area and desperate situation. Thank you so much for your honesty and great work :)

Tow truck driver was very friendly and helpful... when he showed up. I used this business's winch service when I got stuck on the side of the road while traveling to a relative's funeral. They ended up leading me on over the course of an hour and a half and three phone calls as to how far away their tow truck was. I even turned down the help of several other people while waiting for them. I later found out from their driver that they never even sent a truck to me. The driver who helped me just happened to be returning from another job when he spotted my car on the side of the road. I feel lied to by this business and would not recommend their service to anyone.
