The staff is Very pleasant and it was easy to feel welcome. He saw during an inspection that my oil pan had several leaks and thank goodness, was taken care of. It still pass inspection with the leaks, but it was nice. They look beyond the inspection details.

I wouldn’t take my ca there anymore after I watched the owner use race or slurs at a customer! How disgusting! This business needs to be shut down!!!!

Horrible customer service!! Bud would roll over in his grave to know who and how these people are representing his name. Dealt with Bud for years and he was an amazing local business owner. Never over charged and was there to help. These people, after 3 times trying them for service, have confirmed I will NEVER return and will take the time to warn others. Don't go here! for service or your inspection.

Guys are clowns took my subie to get inspected told me my brakes are “falling apart” cause of a tiny chip and failed me for it, (Brakes weren’t great but not falling apart absolutely ridiculous statement) also there machine couldn’t communicate with computer with my car for some reason. They didn’t tell me why or how I could fix it cause they were “busy” but I was the only person and car that like it’s work you’re supposed to be busy make the time But just seemed like they wanted to rush me outta there and not very respectful I would not recommend you bring youre car here they’ll most likely fail you!

I’ve lived here 6 years. Only started taking my cars here the last two years. The experience is the best in the area IMO. I often do work on my own cars and have a good idea how long things take. Their labor hours for jobs are fair and the mechanics I’ve talked with are happy to give you the time of day if there are questions or explanations needed. I’ll often source my own parts, sometimes just from Napa down the street, and tires etc from tirerack and they’ve taken all that in stride and accommodated. They will also make you an appointment for inspection and will actually keep it, and have WiFi while you wait. They have failed me for inspection a few times, all those times I can definitely verify they were being honest about actual bad parts that needing replacing. Once they said my rear control arms were bad on my BMW, I was suspect because generally I can feel those being bad - and I had recently rotated my tires and hand tested the control arms for play and didn’t find any. They were happy to put the car back on the lift and show me, when the wheel was on you could definitely wiggle some play in the bushing. I had done my hand inspection with the wheels off, the extra leverage the wheel provided illustrated the play in the bushing. All is to say they have been totally honest and a pleasure to work with and communicate with at reasonable prices. So much better than other places around here.

Godfrey Auto staff is super friendly, but claimed I needed my tie rods repaired, and failed me on my inspection for it. But when I sought a second opinion, the other mechanics were unsure why? They called me later that day with a wildly over priced quote. Luckily I left that place knowing something was wrong and had them repaired later that day for half the price they quoted at a trusted mechanic. Good luck on your future endeavors, but I am lost as a customer.

Passing through the area from out of town, had issues with our car, called Godfroys and they got us in immediately, diagnosed the problem, drove to the parts store, and repaired our vehicle all in under 2 hours. Extremely pleasant to deal with.

New owner and staff rock. They took on a job on a car that nobody around here is that familiar with, and performed the necessary repairs quickly, competently and at a very reasonable cost. Lines of communication were always open and clear. They even kept my car inside overnight! Highly recommended.

Friendly staff who did great work on my Honda Element twice. Both times the work was performed quickly and each for a very reasonable price. I will go there again if/when needed.

Godfroys has reopened with new owners and new staff. Everyone there is extremely pleasant. They fixed two cars for me, one after the other. Service was as promised, on time, and as estimated. Both cars had a few different issues which were all fixed to our satisfaction. It’s great to have the business back in the neighborhood. Note for women: I didn’t experience ANY mansplaining, which was refreshing.

Truly awful customer service. I called on a Monday to set up an appointment for a mandatory Geico photo inspection -- a 15-minute job. I was told the earliest available appointment was that Friday at 11am. A few days later, my mother went into hospice, and I called to explain this, and ask if they could please move up my appointment so I could drive out to see her, 3 hours away. The owner said "Sorry to hear it" but refused to move up my appointment. The day of the appointment, I arrived on time and waited for 10 minutes in the reception area. When no one came in to help, I called the main number and got the owner, who told me he needed 15 minutes or so to finish what he was working on. I reminded him that I had an 11am appointment and that my mother was in hospice and I'd appreciate anything he could do to help. He said, "If you need to leave, you should" -- never mind that the photo inspection needed to be completed in order for my insurance to, you know, cover my car. It took another 10 minutes for him to come out, and 15 minutes more to complete the inspection. I left the station at 11:40 -- 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. My mother passed away when I was halfway into my drive. Thanks a bunch, Godfroy's.

I am fairly new to the area, but I must let everyone know that I am blown away by the expertise and professionalism of Bud Godfroy at his service station. I'm no kid; I've dealt with hundreds of service and repair centers with dozens of vehicles. As a transplant from Mass, I was skeptical about finding a trustworthy and dependable repair person. It is immediately apparent when you meet this low key, confident man that he knows exactly what he's doing. I've had numerous maintenance and repair procedures done at his shop, and the results have been flawless. If you're looking for fast and cheap, this isnot the place to go. But if you're looking for peace of mind, knowledge that your vehicle has been made safe and confidence that you've recieved the best care possible, then go see Bud!
