My daughter is about to have a baby and I was concerned about a noise that her car was making. I explained the situation and despite being very busy, they fit me in right away to have a look and make sure that it was safe. They gave me a thorough and honest assessment. We will certainly return to Frederick’s for our ongoing auto needs.

My go-to local mechanic and shop for anything I need done to my vehicle. They are very thorough, honest, and reliable! I had a situation where I needed a last minute inspection before heading into NYC and they were able to help me out in short notice. That meant a lot to me bc I would have been traveling with an expired temp registration into NYC. I wouldn’t expect them to accommodate everyone on short notice because they have to keep an organized schedule, but in this situation, the team at Fredericks went above and beyond for me. They won a faithful local customer after just two visits for regular maintenance. If I had anything serious happen to my vehicle and couldn’t do it myself, I’d bring it to Fredericks. You should, too!
Top of the class, I couldn't be more happy with my experience! They were so helpful when I showed up unexpectedly first thing on a Monday morning with no appointment. Visiting my mom for the weekend from out of town, and experienced odd (and scary) steering behavior on the way there. Ron fit me in that morning and immediately discovered & repaired a loose bolt on the control arm, which sounds simple but could have been disastrous. They even found time to fit in an oil change for me too. Everyone there was extremely helpful, pleasant and professional and the shop itself was also top class. I was truly impressed by my experience, and would go back in a heartbeat!
Saved the day! Driving through from out of town at 5pm on a Friday my car was making a strange noise and a dashboard warning light came on. Panicked, I found myself at Frederick's Performance...so lucky I did! They were just closing up for the weekend but we're so nice to check out my car and take it for a quick spin to hear what was going on. Luckily they determined it wasn't anything needing urgent attention and I was able to continue on my trip. THANK YOU!!
Awesome family owned shop that has been around for a long time. The reviews speak for themselves! My parents have been goin here for 15+ years with never a problem!
Ignore the few and far between low ratings... They usually come from people who don't understand how complex a car can be. Cheers y'all!
I dropped my car off because it needed a new windshield wiper motor, and it wasn't starting in the cold. I mentioned before I even dropped it off that it was likely a fuel pump problem.
They replaced about $150 worth of electrical parts, and then charged me $600 for their time trying to figure out why the car wouldn't start.
I called during the week to ask how much money it was going to cost at that point, and the woman in the office said, "we don't do the bill until after the work is all done," and then hung up on me.
After a while, they suggested to me that it was a fuel pressure issue and would need a new fuel pump...like I already suggested to them before I even brought it there. They didn't fix the windshield motor, either.
They charged me $790 total and did not fix the problem!!! It still didn't start and still didn't have windshield wipers. $790 for nothing at all. I had to get it towed away to a better mechanic.
The women in the office were very rude and when I told them I thought this was unfair (after I paid them), one of them said, "well it was YOUR decision to not move forward with the repairs..." because I did not want to pay ANOTHER $400 for them to do what they were supposed to do in the first place! It would've been over $1200 total!! Because they needed SIX HOURS to determine that the issue was the thing we told them it was in the beginning??
Now that I think about it, they were probably so rude because they must be used to dealing with unhappy customers, if this is how business normally goes around there.

Always a great job. They keep me up to date on all service items and let me know ahead of time what to expect that needs to be done. Definitely recommend.
Katelyn was great in passing information to the mechanics on what needed to be looked at on the car. They worked with me around my work schedule. Car is running well. Thanks for all the help.

My husband stopped by on a whim to see if they would be willing to work on our Audi exhaust - It’s amazing. They did such a great job, you would think it’s factory. We live 40 min away but have family close and we definitely will be back. Worth the drive! Very friendly!

Great local shop to have work on your vehicle. They helped me fix the mistakes other mechanics made on my 71 Buick, now I only bring it there. Great business, highly recommend!

We were on a road trip to go skiing and the engine started acting up. We got off the highway and started looking for an auto shop the day after Christmas. Few were open. The local Napa store sent us here and I'm so glad they did. Ron the owner personally came out and looked at the car, used the scanner and got is back on the road all in 20 degree weather. My children never had to get out of the car and were able to stay warm. He took pity on us and helped us out as soon as we pulled in and asked for help. We didn't even have to wait at all. Ron is so kind and so knowledgeable. He even taught us a few things about what to watch for on our car. This place is a true gentleman. Thank you Fredericks!
