This place without Shawn is no good The new management is disrespectful and ignorant Been going there over a year when Shawn was running the place, all I can say that guy is awesome

Just witnessed the most disgusting vehicles I’ve ever seen.

Sold me a vehicle and within one year the frame and the control arm snapped, not only that but within one month of receiving the vehicle I had to get a completely new exhaust system. What an ordeal. I caution anyone looking to make payment arrangements with this dealer as they will take advantage of you.

Not the place for auto parts even though they have overstocked inventory I think they're just going to collect it until the lady at the counter passes away and hands it down to her family ? recycling and helping the environment is not the goal here

No women on the lot. My husband who know very little about cars had to go alone to find and remove the part himself. DISGUSTING!

Welcome to Dependable Auto- where cars might be from this century but the owners attitude is straight out of the 1950s. If I could give zero stars, I would. Women, beware, he does not allow you to look around at all. I went in ready to shop, cash in hand, and was told I wasn’t allowed to “browse” and was literally kicked out for just trying to look. Completely unprofessional, outdated, and discriminatory behavior. There are plenty of other auto shops that actually respect ALL of their customers. The ONLY way i’d recommend this place is if you loved to get treated like you don’t belong!

I was refuse service all because I’m a woman. I was forced to sit in a car while it 80 degrees out. In 2025 this is very sexist.

Have called a couple times over the course of a year looking for parts for numerous vehicles and they always say the same thing, "oh I'm not taking apart this" or "I'm not letting you take that" it's a parts yard. I've been there for U-pull it stuff before but they are just crude when it comes to more intricate stuff. They will let you snag some rims and dangerously low tread tires off a old beater ford but won't let you take the entertainment system or speakers from a chrysler or a belt off the engine or a power steering pump for a Buick. Super inconsistent, almost as if they only want you to take the stuff that takes the least time and will get them the most money. They don't want you in their yard for 2 hours getting the part you actually need.

Not dependable. Ripped up the yard and now uses every excuse on why they don't want to fix their drivers' mess up. I beg you to use someone else.

We purchased a Dodge Caravan from the car lot, at a reasonable price, and while test driving I never turned the radio on, found on the way home it didn't work. The next day I called Shawn to complain and without hesitation he offered to replace the radio at no charge. He did want to make a customer happy so, he made us happy with a working radio. He had a great selection of autos of various descriptions, including trucks and classic cars. I will definitely do business with this company again.

really bad experience with this company we took a car from the central dispatcher and after 42 minutes canceled this car, was not fit into the truck. this broker said either re-transport or I'll give you a negative for late cancelation.

They are very kind people. They came out picked up my truck. I am very happy with their service.I will use them again

We stopped and looked at a couple cars that were for sale. We decided on a Ford Taurus. We asked him to fix the headliner, he said he would put different tires on the back, and the hood needed struts, and it had a miss when we test drove it. We told Shawn about it, and he was going to check into it. We went back a few days later with a check for the car. After standing outside FOREVER, waiting for him to get paperwork done, we left with the car. He did fix the headliner ( sort of) he never put different tires on it, WE bought struts for the hood, and it STILL has a miss when driving down the road. We were talking about taking it back after having it less than 24 hours, to have him fix it, but we just know he won't do the job right. Shawn is not a very personable person, and like I said, we just know he won't make it right. I do not recommend them.

Called and had a car towed to their lot, they estimated the car to be worth $200. After the car was picked up, we had went there and they had actually yelled for us to get out of their lot because they were closed. *Not even an hr later* So we stopped by the next day and they had made it seem like it wasn't our car, so we drove back the 15 minutes to get the title, and upon arriving back to their lot, they had said they weren't that interested in the car, and gave us $60 total for the car. Would not recommend.

Great price, Great Service!! A+++++ all around. Will recommend to all friends and family. Love my vehicle I purchased there.

Dependable is great. You can walk the yard, discuss prices, work with the guys there. Tons of vehicle variety to choose from. Awesome experience.

Does not pay transporters! They are slimy and snakes. They blamed damages a customer made himself on me, and did not pay me for any work. Had to open a small claims case against their business to get them to pay after 2 weeks of no contact

Worst experience ever tho I have to park my car next to the front exit but not blocking nothing in front of a corvette which I have to move it there because a guy was trimming the grass and didn’t care about was next to him and all the rocks was hitting my car. so I’m looking in the lot and when I come back to ask for help to see if I can take some rims an old guy come out and scream at me without even asking yelling and cursing at me because I parked there without even knowing the story i left before things take a different turn because I didn’t went there to get Yelled at or scream I was just looking for some rims and your guy cutting the grass was hitting my car with the rocks and I didn’t even complain to be polite and this happened to me it’s crazy

Everyone was so helpful and courteous. Being from out of town and during a holiday, I was truly grateful for all of their help. They even took us to a hotel to check into until our car was fixed. I would highly recommend them.

I called to get a price on shipping my car from Fort Myers to jamestown and was quoted 1150 from undependable Dave but he said call my nephew to confirm. I did and i asked if he could do it for a 1000 dollars and he said yes. I got my credit card bill and was charged 1250. I called and could not get any satisfactory response. Call anybody but Undependale Towing Jerry Swanson

My tire blew out on rt#86 and I did have to wait a little bit but the driver of the tow truck was nice enough to take us to the nearest tire store to get the tires replaced. I would definitely recommend them.

DON'T EVEN THINK OF USING THIS COMPANY!! They will scam you and broker your car out to someone else! Then they make excuses, then more excuses why they haven't picked up your car then won't answer your calls and have voicemail too full. No BBB rating. I wish I had never called. Finally did get my car, but Dependable didn't want to pay the transport company that ACTUALLY delivered my car BEWARE!!

Shipped a car up from Florida for us. They were easy to deal with. Car arrived safely. Great people to work with all around for whatever need you have. They don't just ship cars

Dave and his staff are great to deal with. They helped me ship a vehicle from Florida to Washington state. They shipped promptly and quickly right on schedule!!! Highly recommend for your shipping needs.

I met Dave at their office in New York. I did not get the warm and fuzzies from him, but he texted the next day will a smoking deal and said the car would be there in 3 days. That did not happen, which would have been understandable if he let me know right away, but instead I asked what time it would be here the supposed day if delivery, to find out that it was still in New York. Terms of our agreement were deposit and the balance COD. I received a text on a Wednesday stating the car would be a few hours away in another town and once we wired the money they would ship it the rest of the way. Basically holding it ransom, FYI nothing the police can do for you at this point. I ended up wiring the money and he still would not let me know where the car was being stored, even paid $40 more for secure storage for the night. I just wanted my car, so I drove 2 hours, finally got the location, and the car was not there, he sent another address 25 minutes away, my car was there, but it was not a secured location, it was an apartment complex and the car was left unlocked. The outside had 3000 miles of dirt and grime on it, even though I paid for an enclosed transport. The person who had the keys would not answer calls or text. After talking with the police, I had to steal my own car, and no one said anything, as it took an hour to ratchet it up onto the trailer. Then pay a lock smith to rekey it and someone to detail. Please use my misfortune to save yourself. Feel free to connect me with any questions, as this was just the nuts and bolts of the story. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I had these guys move my baby from NY to FL. I was worried because I love that car and don't like to even let it out of my sight. These guys knew that and did everything they could to ease my anxiety. They even washed the car before they delivered it to me!! To say that I was pleased is an extreme understatement. I definitely will use them again and would encourage anyone to so the same. These guys treat your car like it is their mom's car!!!
