Biggest rip off artist around 18 full trash bags sould be at least 10 dollars in each bag they figured a little over 6 dollars a bag either they can't count or they are ripping you off! I'm thinking the latter of the 2. Worst experience ever!
Every month I ask my BF to bring me to return bottles. He's from Jamestown, I'm not from the area so I still get lost easily, otherwise I'd go myself. Then again my BF is still living in the 30's and doesn't believe women should carry money,, making bottle return extremely important to me. Eventually 2 bags turn in to 8 bags and some will sit outside for a month or two. This place is wonderful, at least they always have been to me. I drive though, they unload my bottles, I then park out front and a few minutes later they bring me my money from the bottles. Always easy, always polite, never once did they complain about the amount of bottles I bring nor the condition of them sitting outside from time to time.
I bring this money home and hide it, pretending it was spent on one of the kids. Eventually I will have enough to get out of here.

I took about 30 bags of cans in, which I had figured I'd get about $95-$100 when I did the average cans per bag....but when they came out to pay me I only got like $64...they ripped me off for about $40. Don't take your cans here unless you have them counted!!! I definitely won't be going back there!!!
Awesome place for a drive-thru experience with ease! Pull in they grab it all and you park and they bring redemption coin! ✊🏽🤩🤩, and with such kind service! Great job and I pass a few redemption centers just to get to THIS PLACE! Friendly staff throughout! Every time! Thanks a lot for taking me 5 mins before closing haha!
I want to apologize to the owner and employees of don't trash it. I wrote a review earlier today based on a situation that happened and I wasn't even there. I should have known better. I won't go into the details of it but I will say this I have had nothing but outstanding service every time I have used this service. That is why I always tip. Thank you to the owner for getting back to me and explaining. Again I apologize. I will be a better customer in the future and bag my cans rather than boxing them.

It was so easy to pull in and have my cans unloaded. I didn't know glass needed to be separated in boxes but Lawrence was very kind and friendly helping me out and letting me know. I'll be back. ☺️
I have been coming to Don't Trash It for years and have always been pleased with the service. I make a point to go when Brittany Brown is there ...she's the fastest counter in the tri-state area 😊 and always greets me with a smile 😊
The only place I take my cans and bottles. Lawrence has been the most frequent face I've seen and always greets me with a smile and friendly attitude. Service is always fast. And the place seems very well organized. Keep up the hard work!
This place is very clean and fast. The best part about it is tje drive through service. The staff is very friendly especially Malik. I highly recommend going there.
Poor work ethic!
They only offer drive through service. After I left the property I noticed that they had left my bed cover unlatched and had not said anything to me(it was not a mistake because they gave me the money for the bags they did grab), and later I discovered that they had left 2 full bags of cans in the truck.
Making my trip to falconer a waste. Very disappointed in the service I received. DONS Car wash will be the only place I go from now on.
I get those tiny 8oz cans residents get, and I took back the same, if not more than last month. Last month they took approximately 10-15 minutes to count them... (they're mostly small cans, understandable.) I received 21.50 back last month... Today I fill SAME amount of bags 3 small white and one VERY FULL and VERY large black bag ( they clamed i only brought 2 small white bags in), took them only 3 minutes to rush that money out and try to zip back inside until I questioned why this time it was only $8. DONT GO HERE, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF!!! I'm sure I'll get a snarky response like the last guy's review, who had the same exact issues hmm coincidence? Probably not... SAVE IT. NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOUR COMPANY'S LIES.
Yeah I just took back at least 20 bags of cans one of the bags just 1 of them was 1 of those big size canbags where I believe it's 20 bucks just for that bag and I got only 50 bucks back I mean talk about low ball unbelievable and the amount of time that they counted them there is no way possible that they could count that many cans in that amount of time. I had enough that the whole crew would have been busy for at least 10 15 minutes A women who had not even 1/4 of the amount I had who was behind me was paid at the same time this place is getting worse , I pulled up and even said I been saving these for awhile well apparently just so there pockets get bigger while I lose out this will be the last time I go there if your smart you will go else where or go to a machine it would be worth the time and money I spent more time loading my truck then they did counting flat out lazy and dishonest
I took cans back for my boys soccer team and had enough bags to fill up the entire back end of my ford explorer. The guys back with $38 when it should’ve been approximately $60 - I confront him about it stating that it was drastically low balled and he said that’s what he counted and walked away. Horrible service, definitely rip off. I do like the convenience but not at the expense of keeping almost the half the money that was raised for these children.
Returned four bags of plastic bottles to “Don’t Trash It”. The guy brings out $5.40. Usually, a 13 gallon bag of bottles yields around $3 so I asked why my money was short. Guy tells me that’s it, all that it was. Yesterday I took 3, 13 gallon bags to Don’s Carwash in Lakewood guy hands me $9. Do the math. Don’t Trash It employs thieves and liars. If you want honest people to do the counting for you go to Don’s Carwash in Lakewood or Southside Redemption on Foote Avenue in Jamestown. The guy at Don’t Trash It that I’m referring to is short, wears a ball cap, and has zero manners.
Certainly questioning the accuracy of their counting.. I personally sorted and counted bags of cans and bottles before I brought them here . I personally had counted out over $90 worth and when I bring them here I only received $70???
Friendly and helpful... I strongly suggest everyone recycle their cans or bottles there at least one time and you will see what I mean. I have been to other redemption facilities and none compare to these guys and gal's.
I live a half hour away from Falconer, but will only take my returnables here. The staff is quick and courteous. You just drive in, under a roof to protect you from the elements; someone unloads your car; you drive out and park to receive your money; tip the staff well, and drive on your way. Easy, peasy!
Super nice people. My daughter was asleep in my car and the man was so nice to quietly remove every bag of cans trying not to wake her.. we were in and out quickly. Great service
I’m in a wheelchair so the drive through works great! The place is inviting, clean, organized and has helpful friendly service! It’s always a fun experience when I bring my kids too!
They're quick and organized. You pull in and pop your trunk, they come and get your cans and bottles. Then they bring the money out to you. How convenient is that?!
I love the convenience of this can redemption center. They have a drive thru which makes a trip to return recyclables so much easier for anyone with small children or any disabilities. The staff are always polite and friendly.
