Excellent family park for small children. Most rides are for under 8 or 9 yrs or under 54". Some even restricted to smaller. There's really only four or five rides that would interest anyone older than that. The rock wall is a bonus and over the years, her skills have increased. I would not plan on eating at the park as it it really is just park fare and there are a lot of other restaurants in the area easy to leave and come back. The playground is awesome. Be aware, there is an arcade also down near the food and the merry go round, which you will need to shell out some cash. The last time we were there many of the games weren't working. There was still a lot to choose from like skiball and whackamole. And the kids love redeeming their points for little prizes.

The ride experience was charming and wonderful, great family day trip. The games were 70 percent out of order, that was our only complaint. Hopefully they are working on getting them fixed.

Great park for kids and families. Really one of a kind. Affordable entry, and rides for all ages. Most rides are geared towards elementary school kids, with a couple of larger rides reserved for older kids/adults. Little to no wait to get on the rides. These rides are historic and very well maintained. The large playground and picnic area is free to use.

Great if you have little kids. I have 2 kids aged 3 and under so we bought them wristbands and we could go on some of the rides with them without paying. Their playground was also very nice considering the rides take a break from 230 to 3. There was also an arcade, putt putt and go karts that we didn't have time for.

Fun little throw back old fashioned amusement park. Perfect for little kids.

For younger children and adults wanting a nostalgic source of entertainment. My fiance and our girls (9 and 11) had a blast

Very well maintained state park. They have mini golf, a small coaster and lots of little rides for kids. The prices are super cheap.

Old time amusement park. The rides are simple and fine for very young kids, although our preschoolers seemed to prefer the playground to the ticketed rides. We appreciated that you could just buy tickets for rides rather than paying a high entry fee, but the rides required two tickets per person so we went through a lot of tickets just for a few rides. The little on-site museum is worth checking out, adjacent to the gift shop.

Came back for a second time, and I was somewhat disappointed... Half of the arcade games were out of order, and half of the games that were "working", just took your quarters with no prize! A couple rides were broken down (Ferris wheel, tilt a whirl). The food is super overpriced ($6 for two waters), but everything that was up was super fun. I would recommend coming, but skip the arcade and maybe eat outside the park.

It was the perfect place to take my 4 year old and 3 year old for a day! It hasn't changed a bit in the 25 years since Iast I went and I love it!

Such a great out of the way amusement park for younger, toddler, preschool, kids along with some rides including adult or older kids.

Wonderful place to take young children We come here every year. The boys love it and request to go! We stayed for about 3 hours. Went on all rides had a picnic and played on playground.

Wonderful for kids and adults! My partner and I changed 20 dollars for quarters and had hours of fun in the two arcade buildings. It's amazing to be able to play the vintage machines and even win some prizes. We'll never grow up ?

My wife has been here with her school for a field trip. So she decided to take myself and our 3 boys for a surprise trip. We packed a lunch for us all and took off. What a amazing day! Our 3 boys loved it ( 5, 3, 19 months ) I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The rides were so age appropriate, and fun. The atmosphere makes you feel welcome. We hit most of the rides and played on the playground a bit. We had a lunch so we didn't consume anything from the property. But as a first timer, I'll be back again this year and we plan on making this a monthly trip for our boys!!!!! Great place!

We spent 5 hrs. there today with our Grandaughter and her 3 Toddlers. The 6 yr. old exclaimed it was the best day of her life! Everything was just perfect for a 10 year old or younger. Grounds and restrooms were very clean. Food was expensive as expected but good. All the staff were very pleasant and courteous with the Kids. Wristbands are the cheapest deal if you're staying all day. We were all very happy that we went there for our last Summer Fling! Thanks for all your hard work and efforts..

What matters is what the grandkids thought, and they loved the park! Perfect for the six and two year olds. All the staff were friendly and helpful too! The park is basically very attractive but needs renovation. Wonderful lakefront exposure!

Fun for the little kids. We went for the 125th reunion. A bracelet was $15 for all rides except the go karts, you have to purchase those separately as well as miniature golf, that definitely could be done differently. The food is way overpriced so we went to the restaurant across the street to grab dinner.

Perfect for my kiddos ages! 2 and 4. I'm a single mom amd went solo which is always a little intimidating when going to a place like this but it was totally manageable! Kids had a great time!! My only gripe is that they should do a little work on the rides. The roller coaster was way to jerky. Anyway, we had a blast tho!

?? What an amazing gem of a park! This place is absolutely perfect for families with young kids. My little ones had an absolute blast! ?? ? The rides are designed for kids above 36 inches, and those between 42 and 48 inches can ride alone without an adult. Plus, there are some exciting kiddie rides that kids up to 54 inches can enjoy! ? ? Ample parking space and a relatively uncrowded atmosphere made our visit even more enjoyable. The $15 wristband with unlimited rides was definitely worth every penny! ? ⏰ We made sure to come early, and we practically had the whole park to ourselves, which was fantastic! The park is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm, during July and August. Make sure to check the website for the most up-to-date hours. ?️ ? My 5-year-old and 1-year-old went on multiple rides and had an absolute blast! It's a fantastic place for a fun-filled family day. Highly recommend for parents looking to entertain their little ones. ? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely five stars from our family! We'll be back for more fun soon! ???

Midway State Park is perfect for families with small children. My elementary school aged children have enjoyed spending the day at Midway at leased once sometimes twice a year.

Very nice park with amusement park rides for kids, mini golf and go karts! Can't wait to come back when the rides are running!

This park is small. But good for small kids. The rides are old. The staff is friendly. $15 for unlimited rides. The unlimited pass doesn't work for go-Karting. For go-kart you need separate tickets. There is food available but not too many options. Some rides like the Rollercoaster are a little too bumpy for adults.

Had my niece's bridal shower in the Sunset Room. It was perfect. right on the water with a deck and chairs. The inside was very nice and clean. The staff was helpful too. The only negative is the parking. Most people have to park a bit of a walk away. I would recommend this location for a gathering of 100 people or less. I would book the room again.

Unique old time amusement park. Great for kids under 7 yrs old. All day admission or individual ride tickets. Rides are from the 50s and 60s. Free parking and admission.

Midway is always a family favorite! I’ve been coming since I was a kid, and my mom has been since she was a kid! We had a great time on the Go-Karts and put-put today. I was a little disappointed because on both Facebook and the Midway website (and others), it says there is a dock for day visitors. We took the boat over but no dock! We had to pull it to shore.

This place is amazing! We had lots of fun! The park is located lakeside and has a pic-nic area. There is something for every member of the family no matter what age they are. Love the old school rides!

Very vintage style small amusement park, rides are perfect for little kids - toddlers and elementary school kids max. Only down side was the port o potties, but nice regular restrooms also available. Carousel was beautiful. Tilt a whirl, bumper cars, burlap sack slide, go karts, putt putt, train, handcars. Could easily spend a day here, or just a couple hours.

Love this place. Traditionally I thought about Midway as an amusement park for young children but even my elementary age child found lots of fun things to do. He didn’t want to leave. Wonderful time and reasonable cost.

This is a great place for younger children. There are even a few rides that parents can go on with their children. There is a little gift shop and some food options (hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, popcorn, ice cream, drinks). They also have an arcade and you can win tickets for prizes. There are also a few extra options for separate fees (water works, mini golf, and go carts). Parking is free. Now you can just come here and have a picnic without spending a dime, they have picnic tables spaced off in a grassy area. My son and I received season passes as a gift this year so we are making the most of it.

Tip for adults, don't buy a wrisband buy tickets if your little one doesn't want to or cant ride by themselves. They close rides from 3-3:30 every day, my buddy who went with his didnt ride a single ride nor did his son he had to work in 2 1/2 hours, when he asked for a refund and tried explaining the person showed no empathy and threatened to call the cops when my buddy wasnt being irrate or anything. He actually decided to leave when the rides were closed and we thought it'd be idea to feed the kids, nope $7 for a slice of pizza, $8 for a hamburger, $8.50 for chesseburger. We didn't eat, tried the arcade... at least the had some classics that work like TMNT and Terminator 2, but all of the other money suckers for tickets spit out worthless amounts, machines don't work. Just a poorly maintained place, I feel more confident in county fair rides. I myself had great memories as a kid, and im sure my 5 year old son will... but that'll be the last.
