Super fun place to hike Most trails are marked well... Some need better markers. Paths are easy to trek. Rocks are fun to explore!!!

Always fun to adventure in rocks. Only complaint is there is no warnings near the upper rocks when you walk over “cracks” our local ledges have safety bars or signs to let you know. Just a precaution to take when visiting here. Otherwise we had a great time exploring

Wife and I really enjoyed this place. I believe along bent rim trail we encountered a bear. We rounded one of the large stones on the trail, and suddenly the brush and small trees in front of us were being moved by something large moving away from us. When it was still for a moment, we heard a very clear 'huffing/shuddering' sound. Just a precaution for anyone that might choose to do this trail.

Beautiful walk with lots of scenery. It isn't too difficult but I would make sure to bring a water with you. The rock formations were so cool

The trails were not well maintained and confusing but the rocks were very cool and it was definitely a unique place to visit.

Such a cool place! So many trails and so many unique rock features in this —almost 3000 acre— state forest! I can't believe I haven't been here before. A lot of unpaved dirt roads to get around but it just adds to the charm imo. Pack a lunch, bug spray, wear an outfit you can get dirty and make a day of it! Lots of trees so it doesn't get super hot which is always a plus too! I'll be coming back probably in the fall and I'd be excited to try checking out the camp grounds attached!!

I enjoyed my walk through here. The selfies that you can take are amazing and just the pictures alone are beautiful

Very cool state park to visit, we parked at the lower lot and walked up to Rock City because the gate was closed when we arrived. It was a nice walk, we saw a bunch of eastern newts on the road up, which my kids loved. Lots of beautiful foliage too. The rock formations were very cool. We enjoyed walking on the tops of some and going down into the crevices. Portions are on a steep incline so be careful and wear closed toe shoes. It was cool to look at the moss and plants growing on the stones which seemed to have been sedimentary rock of some kind, they are covered in tiny stones imbedded in them. It's a very cool place to explore. There's a great little restaurant and ice cream shop nearby too that we enjoyed after our adventure.

We went as a family of 7 and each of the kids had a good time. The terrain was somewhat challenging but the kids enjoyed it. We did find ourselves getting a little lost and off trail but did find our way back to a marked path. The paths within the rocks were cool and the cavernous spots were fun for the kids to crawl in.

A really neat hike through the forest with lots of very large boulders. You don't see this everyday!

One of my favorite places to visit! It’s absolutely stunning! Highly recommended!

What a jem! Especially the little rock city trail loop. You can literally spend hrs just exploring all the crevices and rock formations and caves. One thing i recommend is paying attention to the spots under the rocks and caves during the rain season. My foot sunk mid shin around one of the rocks, and it really scared me. One of the trails also had a lean-to with a toilet behind it( although uncovered). Also, several tent camping sites with their own shelters for cooking areas, I'm assuming. Can't wait to get back there in the summer.

Great place for hiking. If you are looking for a short adventure parking at the entrance loop will allow you to explore the rocks and passages between them. If you are looking for a longer adventure follow the Finger Lakes trail through the park and into the surrounding hills. Rock City offers primitive camping sites that are available without reservations but please remember to leave no trace and clean up after yourself when camping or hiking.

Exploring the moss covered rock formations of Little Rock City was a magical experience. This place is unlike any other I have ever been.

It is so much fun! We camped here overnight. The campsites seem to range in size but ours was pretty big. There IS a port-a-potty here. The rocks are really fun to explore. You can walk along the tops and look down or go down in. You can go in between them, through caves, and even climb on the rocks. A very fun way to enjoy the outdoors. There IS cell service (I have Google Fi, uses T-Mobile towers).

Okay, I'm not often awed by stuff, but this place is amazing. So many huge rocks, and cracks and tunnels to explore. It's hard to do it justice with pictures. We camped here for a night, and the camping spots are perfectly serviceable. Nothing to write home about or anything, but they have covered picnic tables. If you're looking for a really interesting place to explore, this fits the bill. Be careful though, it'd be easy to fall in a 20 foot deep crevasse, or break an ankle in the blink of an eye.

this place is amazing-if you are ever in the area, almost any season, it's a don't miss. a short hike takes you to huge Boulders and crevasses between them suitable for all for climbing.there is parking and pot a potties. we go every time we're in the area.

This was so cool. It is a great place to bring the kids. They will be overwhelmed by the size of the rocks.

A great place for a hike. Unbelievable that this is in Western New Yorks backyard. Maybe not for small children because of the height of some of the rocks but an excellent place for any adult with hiking ability.

LOcated at the end of the loop, I was afraid I couldn't find it. You do have to follow the trail some, but it is an easy find. I did not travel as long as I could've down it, but it was super nice regardless.

Amazing place! Lots to explore and beautiful! We spent hours and only covered a small section!

Such a beautiful place to hike and explore! There are lots of nooks and crannies and things to climb. Young children and adults will all find adventure! Finding the path in thick leaf cover was a little tricky, but doable (it's just a matter of going ahead enough to see if there are more trail markers on trees farther up!). There are designated picnic areas and an ask to keep food to those areas. No restrooms, and you will be driving low-maintenance dirt roads to get there, but it will be worth it!

Very cool collection of boulders and cracks like slot canyons, but covered in moss and trees. A little tough to get to, but not too bad. There are picnic tables all around the parking area. There are also trails for hiking and mountain biking, as well as dirt roads.

Not easy to find, but worth the trip this large area of broken rock formation is certainly one of the most mystical and scientifically entertaining. A great for a slow nature hike or a good cardio workout trails maybe tricky to find but worth every bit of the search. Not much to look at, at first but just follow the trail. Please respect dont natures beauty, and don't disturb the area or leave your garbage, this place is a treasures

I really loved this place! If anyone is read or seen Maze Runner and would want to experience what the setting would have been like, this place captures it a little

Breath taking!! I loved the easy access, small walking spaces, and giant boulders everywhere. Luckily not to much trash on the ground like at other parks. Parking lot is 50 feet from the heart of the park which kind of horseshoe shaped around the park access roaf anf parking lot. Good for kids 3+, maybe bring boots as even in the summer there are muddy spots.

Parking area was great, no trail map though and the trail was easy to loose. Mostly just wandered around the rocks. Very beautiful and fun!
