Our overlander didnt start and having no service we drove down the mountain for a tow to town. The owner and driver (James) were not only professional, but made sure we were safe and hauled our truck to a local service shop, besides taking us to a hotel. Great business! Service impeccable! And we now have new friends, much appreciated your service and care, especially on a Sunday, we were truly blessed.
A-1 towing is a superstar!!! The gentlemen at A-1 helped us sooo much while AAA was NOT. These gentlemen stepped in and rectified the fiasco that AAA created. The owner helped us so much. My family was traveling on vacation when we broke down. He sent his tow truck driver, and he drove his personal vehicle to get my family of 4 to a safe place. Even found us a mechanic that could help us, and in 2 hrs we were back on the road. If I could give more stars I would!
Very professional towing service and reasonably priced. At 10 pm on a Friday night, my 21-ft RV's back left tire fell into a river ditch and the entire vehicle was teetered towards flipping over. James arrived onsite within 20 minutes, calmly and skillfully positioned his truck/cables, and safely winched the RV forward and away from danger.
I have never had better service in my life. I work with a State Farm agents office, and I file claims pretty frequently but to be on the other side is pretty scary. Kale was able to get my car towed from the scene within 20 minutes. He has been communicating with me the entire time my car has been on his lot. He has sent me photos ensuring me the car is being cared for and has kept me updated every step of the way! He will be in my top 3 recommendations when customers call for a tow service.
I would have been stuck on the side of the road all night in freezing weather with my toddler if it wasn't for the gentlemen at this company. They stood by while I cleared things up with my roadside for payment and even came to get me beforehand because they were concerned for us. I can't speak enough good of their character and kindness through the entire process. They were going to make sure we were safe no matter what. I can't thank you enough!
Spoke with Cale about towing a 37' motorhome that broke down 12 miles west of Socorro and while he did not have a truck that could pull it, he took it upon himself to call around until he was able to find me a quote. His help was above and beyond, and much appreciated. Highly recommend!

Excellent response time and communication. The driver did everything he could to find us a repair shop on a Saturday when everything is closed. He found us a repair garage that got us back on the road. Great service and very thankful for them.
Cale went above and beyond from beginning to end. Borrowed tools to me, allowed me to use his lot to fix my trailer. He broke tools trying to help my family get off the side of the freeway. He is the kind of man you can trust your vehicle with. He even went as far to measure the parts I needed and called around finding a place that had all the parts I needed. Cale is a kind, and up standing guy I can’t give him enough praise.
Kale came our later in the evening when our trailer axle broke and spent hours getting it on a trailer. He took it to his yard and then let us come and work on It the next day and helped and ket us borrow his tools.made a horrible experience little easier. Great guy,great service great price. I can’t give Cale enough stars. It was memorial weekend of 2024 and my enclosed trailer got drug a few miles, or more needing 2 new tires and rims as well as a new leaf spring, shackles and equalizer. A nightmare on any day; worse on a holiday weekend. A-1 towing came to the rescue like Superman saving Lois Lane. He went above and beyond to help us get back on the road. He was kind, and more than helpful. This guy was a real hero! He gave my daughter sun screen, water for the dogs and on and on. Real down to earth and willing to help. A great example of what humans should strive to be. If you are in his are in his area call he will not disappoint and if he does then you are a glitch in the matrix.
I was stranded on the side of a rural highway in New Mexico, and AAA was having trouble finding a tow truck for me. I took matters into my own hands and started calling tow providers. Most of them were out of business or did not have a flatbed truck. One man who was no longer in business told me about A-1 towing. I called and spoke to Cale. He was the sweetest, most concerned person I have ever met. He went above and beyond to get me the help I desperately needed! I also had the pleasure of working with his compassionate wife, Shiloh. She is an angel! She called and texted to check up on me and make sure I was safe. She even texted me the next day to make sure I had made it to a drs appointment up in Colorado!! I am saving the contact info for A-1 towing in my phone for the next time I need a tow. I won’t even bother with AAA next time. A lot of tow companies just worry about how you will pay, cash or card, but Cale & Shiloh at A-1 were truly concerned about my safety and well-being. I give them my highest recommendation!!
Can't say enough about A-1 Towing and Cale. We had a pickup truck towing a 20' travel trailer and he was able to tow both items. He took our trailer to a local RV camp, and then proceeded on to take our truck to a service station in Socorro, and back to the campground. He took his time, was careful with our equipment, and responded so quickly, it surprised us. He took us to the station and back, and was so professional and kind, we really want to thank him for that service. Great job!

I have never experienced a tow company where the people that ran it were so wonderful. Although my experience with Socorro Police department wasn’t very pleasant at least the tow company was. They were very accommodating and and understanding. Thank you for your patience and understanding it was greatly appreciated.
Cale was awesome! He was able to get my truck off the ice and down from Mount Baldy. I would highly recommend his services based on his expertise! He is also a very nice guy and was pleasant to work with.
They came out and got me the the middle of nowhere and pulled me out. Great service at a great price, friendly and efficient. I've been towed once or twice and i know how it can be sometimes, but these folks made my day. There are still good people in the world, and a few of them work here.
A literal god-send. Due to the recent wet weather down in Socorro, my camper got stuck just off a campsite in San Lorenzo on an early, early Sunday morning. Started to panic because it was the first time I had ever been stuck and they were predicting snow and more wet weather within a few hours... Called A-One after being told "no" by three other places. They were super fast (got there in less than a half hour), and very re-assuring. I was worried that my camper was too heavy. David knows what he's doing! A-one has professional extraction gear and KNOWLEDGE that got my campervan safely to solid ground. So happy I called them and I would recommend A-one for any extractions in the region.
