Thank you to the helper that helped me change my smart car battery. Really nice guy, and idk how the hell he did it. A smart car battery is a royal pain in the ass… he even came to my house. Talk about exceptional customer service. Thank you so much ! 💕 I’m forever grateful.

Went there to buy a replacement fuel cap for my vehicle as old one was stolen (this is Albuquerque after all!) Sounds like a simple request, right? Autozone staff hadn’t a clue what I needed and even after I told them the old one had been stolen, two members of staff independently asked me to show them the old one….. I pointed out why that was impossible and they couldn’t be less interested in helping when I asked if I could see a few to pick the right one. At that point the supervisor said “we’re not going to just pull them off the shelves for you to look at”. He then became rude and obnoxious so I left. Contrast this to O’Reilly Autoparts one block along the street, with knowledgable and helpful staff who understood my predicament, walked out to the vehicle with me, and then selected the correct product on the first try! Totally different customer experience. Don’t waste time with Autozone. Go straight to O’Reilly

I visited the Bernalillo AutoZone and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional customer service and experience provided by the two gentlemen, Donny and Lorenzo. I am truly grateful for their exceptional service.

I went into Auto zone for a couple air filters. Donny is the young man that assisted me. He was very professional, great customer service and overall just a great help! You don't see great customer service anymore, and let me tell you, this young man demonstrated great service this evening.

I've had trouble with my pickup for a few weeks, the staff at AutoZone went above and beyond to take care of the situation a couple of times, but it had absolutely nothing to due on their part But a special shout out to the manager, James Espinosa for helping me, but more importantly, showing his crew what customer service is really all about. I cannot express my gratitude enough!! I've told all my friends, family and co-workers what an exceptional job James has done for me!! James, you are an outstanding example of a manager and exceptional employee. I really hope AutoZone appreciates and values you as an outstanding employee and manager of their local store. If I could have rated you and your store a 100..I would have. Thank you again for your outstanding work ethics!!

Went to buy motorcycle oil and filter. Found the oil I needed but not sure which filter I needed. After entrusting the counter boy to find the right filter he tells me they are not able to look up any motorcycle filters even though they have a full display of motorcycle oil & filters?? A 5min google search on the autozone website, I found the filter I needed. Your parts boys are not helpful at all. Maybe try hiring some adults to run the counter???

I shop at many autozones across the country and this one generally ranks poorly compared to the others I’ve been to. It’s a bit of a small and remote location so they don’t always have the parts you need. There are a couple guys here who have excellent customer service but all the others need to fix their attitude and including Jameo. Employees are also lazy and have pathetic attitudes if you come close to closing and lock the store down early. Locations closer to Albuquerque and the one in Los Alamos are much better.

This location sold me a faulty brand new battery...a lot of events, stress, and more money spent took place because of I trusted to buy their product. I returned the battery for a full refund and asked politely to speak with a manager, the boys at the counter could use some type of customer service power point presentation. But it is what it is. Autozone has lost my business.

The staff here was very kind and helpful. Jesus got me the correct parts and helped me install what his boss allowed him to install. Nissan and Mariah were able to answer the quest I had about my electrical system. Very kind and helpful staff

Great customer service from the team at this Auto Zone! I was greeted as soon as I came in and asked if I needed help finding anything. The nice young man working directed me to the correct aisle and i found what I needed. The workers were friendly and helpful which is refreshing.

If you ever need an auto store this is the place to go! THE ABSOLUTE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! James , Evan and Jonathan went above and beyond to help replace my battery and low beam in the excruciating heat!! James spent 45 min trying to problem solve electrical issues due to water damage in my headlight . When I tried to tip him he refused to take it ?! I cannot praise them enough ! Restored my faith in humanity !!

One of the reasons I hate going to this place anywhere. I went in close to closing time 10pm. I bought a dash board phone holder. I hooked it up but it wasn't working. So at 956pm they locked the doors. I wanted to return this phone holder. As I'm not from the area. I was passing thru. I wanted a refund but they locked the doors at 956pm! I know it was almost 10pm. But there were 4 employees in the store. Come on do better.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with James, possibly THE most rude and unprofessional person I've ever met. He spoke to me with such foul attitude when I asked him to help me with my check engine light, and when he (eventually) did so he wouldn't stop sighing and groaning. He then proceeded to give me a bunch of codes, and after I asked what they meant he just kept repeating "the codes are self-explanatory" in a condescending tone.

The manager, Gabe, replaced my brake lights on my Fiat and I didn’t even buy the bulbs from this store. I’m so appreciative of his kindness and professionalism. He wouldn’t take a tip, so I brought in some donuts for the crew.

Good afternoon, on Monday afternoon about 5:42pm I stopped by the store located in Bernalillo NM to get a license plate hardware kit, as I walked in I was greeted by an by the name Jesus ,he asked what I needed and I replied to him stating that I needed a license plate hardware kit ,him then turned his face way from me and asked an other individual about it , and the guy asked me if was looking a harbor kit and I replied to him saying nope what I need is a license plate hardware kit, then he gave some directions as I was leaving I noticed both of the individuals were laughing and making fan of me ,I got back to them asking if what I had asked was funny, then I requested to speak to the manager just to find out that one of them was the store Manager, I proceed to get the part I needed and got to pay for it, while I was in the process to collect the money from the part I was getting, I told him that his employee shouldn't be making fun of customers,that if he was to be doing this he shouldn't be working there, the Manager then said hoho he only was laughing of his own mistake , but the point is that the Manager at any moment apologized for the situation, I believe this is not professional at all ,if he is the store Manager he should be handling the situation in a professional manner,I will not be going back to a place where they don't have any respect to the customers, I just hope the district Manager get to see this review, very poor customer service at this location.

Fransisco, Jayden and Lorenzo!! These guys are awesome! So helpful, patient and hardworking! I needed a new battery and they came to the rescue…no complaints and very respectful. What should’ve been a simple task turned out to be quite a nightmare but they made sure I was taken care of and able to get home to my family safely. Thank you guys!

GREAT staff! I pulled in with my loaded horse trailer asking if they could loan me a better crow bar to bend back a fender that was rubbing /shredding my tire. An employee took off the damaged tire, banged out the pushed in fender, put the spare tire on & got me back on I25 N toward home quickly. So thankful to them!

I hate to speak badly about a business, however, this particular autozone has given me no choice. I have been given the wrong set of parts several times. That’s ok, I let that slide a couple times because we are human. But when I pay for a special order and return to pick that order up, my significant other was charged again. Even though he asked specifically if it had been paid for during the order phase. It blows when we have to make several trips to the place and have to explain that our order was wrong or charged twice. The employees have great customer service but need better training.

I had to pull the pulley or wheel off of the power steering pump in my 92 GMC truck so I could get to the back of the pump for a hose change. See photo..upper left is pulley..The wheel puller is special. It grabs the center of the wheel and a center threaded screw pushes the wheel off of the pump shaft. No claws.. AutoZone let's you borrow the puller kit. Must use a CC. It's free, but if you KEEP it, you buy it. Great guys there, friendly, store very busy.

Damian and Lane took customer service to a whole other level!! I appreciate the actions of these two gentleman so much. My front light was out and there was no way I would be able to get the bulb out, let alone replace it with the new one. Not only did they remove the bad bulb and replace with the new ones, they also made sure the rest of my lights were working as well. Thank you so much!!! You both are gems and keep up the great work! Auto zone should be so proud to have you both representing the company.

The parts employees are the best! I was a quart low on oil for my truck. I asked if they had any paper funnels. And one of the counter guys said I could borrow a funnel! I was relieved. I only had $6.00 on me that day. Enough for a quart of oil. They know how to take care of their customers at this Autozone!! Thanks guys!!

Made an appointment at 12:30 to have my ac checked and fixed, but I am still waiting for the mechanic or whoever to stop walking around and pretending to do things. 2 Other FEMALE customers have came in to complain that the service they already paid for has not even been done. Since then other customers have been in and out easily enough. I find it weird that EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here to get a service these workers always make me wait hours upon hours for something they are taking their sweet time on (my service is never a big job that requires that many hours and I’m always ahead of other cars with an appointment). Very disappointed I’m still currently waiting (now 4:30)

Today my mother and sister went in to buy me a Father’s Day gift. My mother noticed that the workers were not wearing masks. She asked why they weren’t wearing masks. They informed her that they weren’t required to and that the police couldn’t do anything about it. They were very snide and rude. After making here purchase and walking out the worker that rung her up started clapping as they left. My family quickly turned and asked for a refund. According to the current order the state still requires masks to protect employees and patrons during the pandemic. Very disappointed with this store. I go to this store for all of auto needs. I will be going elsewhere going forward.

Super friendly staff. They have always had the parts I needed compared to other auto parts stores. They also offer more options through ship to store for free. Plus, I get cash back with my Bank of America rewards. Saving $$$$. They even have tutorial videos for parts you can replace yourself. Amazing!
