This auto parts store saved our vacation! Our rental minivan had some issues, one of which was needing a new battery. The battery was tricky to remove, but they helped us out! They had our battery in stock & we were quickly back on our way! The husband & wife who run this store were very helpful & friendly. I'd rather not have to stop in every trip (we needed a brake light last year, which they also had in stock), but at least there is a high quality local shop to help out with vehicle woes when needed.
I highly recommend Cloudcroft Truck & Auto. Today I brought a battery, which I was pretty sure was on its last legs, an hour before closing. She tested it and put it on a charger for me. Then stayed after closing and gave me a good deal on a new battery with a 5 year warranty. You can’t beat great service like that. Thank you.
If I could give this place 6 stars I would. We had a colossal coolant hose failure in Cloudcroft today. Coolant had leaked all over the engine, the car was incapable of driving. The heroes at this Truck and Auto Parts store didn't have the exact part I needed, but that didn't stop them from saving us from a gigantic towing bill! They were able to jerry-rig my coolant hose back together and supply us with enough coolant to get us back home to Las Cruces the same afternoon. The people at this store are the kindest, most helpful people I have met in a long time. If you are in need of parts, these people deserve your business. They have the knowledge and resourcefulness and a drive to help like I have rarely in my life experienced. Thank you so much Cloudcroft Truck & Auto Parts!

Was vacationing in the area and had a radiator hose blow up. These guys were 5 minutes away had the exact part I needed and were less expensive than the parts stores down the hill. Strongly recommend and thank you very much guys!
Got stranded today at home this morning. My Ram diesel truck had bad batteries x2 and my booster and external battery charger would not give it enough juice to start. I called Cloudcroft Truck and Auto Parts and they had the batteries I needed in stock and ready to go. But, how to get them up to me? I asked if they knew anyone who could bring them up. The owner said let him ask his wife. She agreed to bring them to me in the Village. Very prompt and with a smile she even offered to help me lift them up into the engine compartment! Cloudcroft T&A is my new FIRST stop for auto parts! And, the batteries were the same price as O’Reilly’s down in Alamo. So fortunate to have a local hometown auto parts store.
Stopped in here while traveling after noticing I had a blinker out. I was in and out quickly, the gentleman that helped me out was very polite and very quick! Handed him the bulb, he asked how many I wanted, I paid and was on my way! Excellent service!
Mom and Pop locally owned Business with excellent service, surprisingly good availability on hand (Coupled with an offer to order anything else we needed) Even had adorable four legged cashier's assistants. Find an excuse to stop in.
Apparently added on a fee to use a credit card without telling me. Either way it showed up 50 cents more than what he said the total would be. Wished I would have kept my receipt but didn’t really need it for a quart of oil.
Update: I saw neither sign. I drove to El Paso on that particular day but wanted to shop local.
From the reviews they seem like nice people. The lady was rude and didn’t like it when someone is rude back. The older dude is cool but uninformed. He needs to search on the internet that there is such things as matched v belts. Not common but before you tell someone there isn’t such a thing maybe you should check. Try to keep as much local as possible but no longer will give them a try before going else where.
I’m sorry for the things I said. Things were fine until you piped in. The young man was very humble and your husband was very humble. And I’m glad your husband looked it up to realize I was right. And I have connections at NAPA and they will deliver to me. They value me as a customer that I’ve been with them for 21 years. Good luck with your business.
Great place; the owners are lovely and their dogs are enviable! They let me do some work on my car in the parking lot, lent me tools, and Melany even came out and got her hands dirty with me - we bested some dirty, old hose clamps and the conversation was so enjoyable! I recommend this place and don't forget to tip!
Owners Brad and Melonie are two of the finest people you'd ever want to meet. Very friendly, very helpful. My battery went dead while camping at Deerhead Campground. Brad sold me a new battery, then loaned me his tools so I could install it. He could not have been more courteous in helping me out of a jam. This is why it's better to do business with local small town folks.
We were in a pickle! Had a 40 ft bus bound for Alamogordo, and lo and behold we had ourselves a pretty bad flat tire. These folks had the only air in town for cheap! 2.00 a fill up and we needed over 80 psi. So we filled up and got the bus on the road.
For you rv’rs out there; we have a 40’ Monaco pusher, backed it in like a Cadillac and went to town.
Friendly staff and beautiful dogs! Also if your in to homemade soaps; give these a smell!
Amazing company with awesome customer service! Our RV broke down with some bad batteries, and the owner of Cloudcroft Truck & Auto drove us to our camping site to pickup and test our bad batteries. They then helped me find the perfect replacement batteries, and saved our vacation!!! A huge thanks to the owners, and please give this company a try!
The owner's Brad and Melanie, and their family are very kind and knowledgeable. I always stop in there first when I am looking for something, whether it is an auto part are not, as they have so many useful items on hand. Their prices are very reasonable and more often lower than other places I have looked. I appreciate their helpfulness on my questions and resolutions to the many auto problems I have had. They are a great asset to have in our village, and highly recommend them.

This small town auto parts store is one of the best places to get your parts I have personally been too. They are hands on, and willing to work with you hand and foot to get whatever part you need. Not to mention the stock they carry on hand is awesome! If they don’t have it, ordering it is fast and they prioritize it to get it here as fast as possible. They have other products too like shaving equipment, local honey, and zippo lighters. Just an over all great place to get your parts and the owners and employees are a delight and very understanding and wonderful to work with. Also, the prices are comparable to NAPA if not a little better for being a mount a top shop. One of the highest places on my list to recommend! If you’re on the area, or just looking for a decent conversation, this is your store. A++!
these folks are super friendly and will bend over backwards to get you taken care of. if they don't already have what you need, they'll have it in quick! prices are very reasonable, they're my go-to parts store and they always remember your name.
The reliable store for safe driving in the mountains. When you meet them, you’ll appreciate how much good they do. They are full service plus - even changing my headlight bulb in the rain this Thursday (they have swapped out batteries and wiper blades for me and many others too).

If you need something automotive this is the place to go. The owners are very very helpful. I can't say enough good about them. They have helped me fix many things on my Jeep. They not only sell it but will help you repair it if possible.
