Part failed catastrophically, had to have car towed, instead of telling me I had a warranty on the part, they were happily going to let me buy another. I went to this store to get my money back as the part is less than 5 months old, and I have already replaced it through another avenue because if I had to buy another, I would get it cheaper at a competitor, however, the manager at this store refused to give the refund and outright questioned if it was even their part, the number is stamped on the damn thing they use for inventory, and the other parts on the car I replaced as well had the car manufacturer logo on them, so OBVIOUSLY their part, and yet he refused. Bet if I was a man I would not be questioned or refused. But I'm not. I absolutely hate O'Riley's in this town. NOTHING like the standard of customer service you receive in the rest of the US (and I've traveled the country). I will never spend another penny at this chain ever again. You literally cost the company a 25+ year customer. Good job!
Update: spoke with new regional manager, hopefully things will get better
I called ahead of time and spoke to Javier who was super helpful and patient with all my questions and once I got to the store Beto assisted me and was very patient as well! Super happy with their help and services! :)
Great service! They treat women very well unlike Autozone down the road! Still, no problems with them, even a couple years later. 7/1 more great service
This store did not honor my brake pads lifetime warranty. They looked at the pads and indicated that they were not oreilly brake pads without looking up my profile in the computer. Employees need to be better trained and understand how lifetime warraties work. I will not be returning to this store in El Paseo. I went to a different store, they looked me up in the computer and verified that the brake pads I was turning in were the same I previously purchased. They honored my lifetime warranty without any questions.
The staff is great and try to help as much as possible , and it is not their fault that O'Reilly's just never has the parts you need if you are working on classic vehicles ! They always have to order something for you that they don't keep in stock. Like brake pads for a Chevy pickup truck!!! REALLY !!! It's kind of ridiculous they call themselves a part store but half the time they don't have the parts you need... they have to order parts that you could order yourself online cheaper for the same product.
Kenneth helped me carry five gallons of hydraulic fluid out to my Peterbilt. All the staff was a great help. Sally is an outstanding commercial service person.
I have been a commercial customer for years ever since they bought checker auto parts and I have never gotten bad service in fact they have gone out of the way to help me find parts that I could not find
I guess the fact that I'm a mechanic and knowing that I'm going to find good quality parts and mainly I find everything that I need 99% time it helps me to continue on my business
