Friendly, respectful, and courteous men in the yard to take the metal. Friendly, respectful, and courteous cashiers. Good prices on tin cans and aluminum cans, plus other metals. In doing business with this company, I rate it a 10 out of 10! A+!

Helpful. There is some "gray" area when it comes to the pricing both during sort and again once office goes through the final tallie sheet. Overall good experience. Tad slow at windows and place does get busy and backed up. That should tell u something right there both in their pricing and processing speed.

Easy to deal with overall. Staff helped unload. Somethings aren't clear as to how they are separated and sorted which is understandable to a point with all they are doing to get you in and out as fast as possible. Easy check out system.

The little scale there very polite the big scale the ladies are rude and if you don't have iron or actual looking steel beams your screwed they won't let you weigh in used to be a good place to go now it sucks

Been going a lot to this Location Depending on who you get pricing is different. When I weigh my stuff they undercut it and tell you it’s different lb. The ladies in the office, were really nice and helpful they get 5 stars. I may try I different place

Very friendly and helpful staff, unfortunately I feel like this location doesn't pay as much as the other location. I brought in 800lbs of steel, 26lbs of #1 copper, 10lbs of brass, almost 100lbs of stainless steel and they paid me like $46. I'd stick to the other location

Very disappointed today, after a few sales of aluminum everything was just fine. I and the manager in yard had agreed the aluminum I was bringing in was extrusion aka extruded...however there was another guy there seemed like a school yard bully...and he and a worker had to feel like they were right...he got on his radio and told the mansger its not extruded, then the ofgice worker sent him to the back...he was almost running after arriving in the back the manager said they had yelled at him cause those two felt it was extruded....i showed the office worker a video on what extruded aluminum was..she said there always trying to learn but they had to go by what the guys in the back said...everyone else said it was extruded...so Pepe your wrong or hustling money out of customers pockets...very dissapointed the other fuys didnt stand thete ground...Pepe is either a thief, swindler or just straight dont know his field...

They gave the worst prices in town unlike their website says. They would not do 2 weights. I had large load of aluminum siding and one steel gate. Worst service ever and 400lbs they paid $8.

Went there and they were closed. That was on me we asked the gentleman if there was another place nearby that takes metal that we could take cause we had a U-Haul truck truck full of metal and said "the only other place open you have to go all the way out to Rio Rancho." Funny there's a recycling place just down the road less than a mile and a half. And came is not the best priced. I hate liars! If you go east on Montano and take a right on Edith and just go off the road a little bit there's a great little place that buys your metal. Earth something.

Im owner operator for Swift. So far, in my 2 years in the industry haven’t been in a place so friendly, profesional and caring like this., These people are fenomenal! They took a little while live loading. The place is kind of small but it’s well organized, fitting 2 semis loading and 2 on stand by. Enough room to maneuver. Personnel? Great!!! They will ground guide you in and out and on the scale. They will secure the load in the trailer for you. They will attach the manifest inside the trailer, close the doors, place the seal, and move the tandems if adjustment is needed! I haven’t been in a place where I had that king of help! And these people are super friendly!!!! I’ll definitely will pick up from this please again, and again, and again!!!!

They always cheat with the weight I recycle 8 aluminum rims it weight out to 136 and I know it's not the right weight. I tried to complain. And they didn't want the Catylati. Converter I ask why they never answered my questions. Manager told me sometimes we do sometimes we don't. What ever that means.. but I'm done with that place.. NO GOOD .. HAVE ALL MY RECIEPT

These wonderful people said they pay $8 + per battery. I got $4. I received .20 cents per pound for pure clean aluminum and they said .60 cents per pound on the phone. Seems they take advantage of people who dont frequent their place.

"Closed to public" real great customer service... had bad interactions with them in the past and this just tops it for me. I am a bussines operator as well and try my hardest to provide my services to my customers who keep my doors open. when you still answer the phone just to tell me you are closed to the public, which implies you are open to wholesale or larger customers? I will never go back again.

Prices are pretty good for the batteries I bring in. Never had a issue with the staff. It can get busy but it's still my go to place to recycle products.

I go here all the time, usually dump 700 lbs off & get about $30 for lunch & gas. It's a good deal. When you get here you're gonna pull up on the scale to the left, closest to the building and pull up to the window, stop and the attendant will hand you a ticket for your weight, then go to the area for your scrap, they will tell you where to go. Drive to the area and dump your load, drive back to the front and pull up on the scale to the left (its marked exit), the attendant will give you a thumbs up when your weight has been noted, pull off the scale, park and go in the door on the left side of the building facing the road, present your id, sign electronically and they will give you a ticket with a barcode, scan the barcode on the atm and take your cash. It's that easy!

If you like being ripped off, this is an excellent option for you. Take a look at the posted pictures of the store... these people would skin you alive if they could make 2 cents of your hide. Those are indeed the type of people you will be dealing with there. good luck!

Took stainless steel to be recycled after getting a quote, for 10 cents a pound. But, when we got there, they wanted to give us, 4.25 cents a pound. When the national average, is 15 to 20 cents a pound! We kept the metal, and drove off, don't go here if you want a fair deal! 4 cents a pound for steel is horrible price, it can't even be mined for that price! This place is a typical Albuquerque, NM rip off!

This is where I take the scrap from the jobs we do. Not sure if I'm getting the best price but the workers in the yard are awesome. Our company's policy is if we can recycle it we will and we do it here. There are many times we end up with lots of steel which isn't worth much so we separate the plastics our of it, drive to the yard, kick off trailer, and drive off receiving no money. Sounds like a bad business practice? No, if they accept it then we don't have to drive to the landfill on Nine Mile Hill, pay $35 to dump it, and it gets recycled not filling the landfill. It's a win win for all and I don't have to deal with taxes for it. As a local residing near this location, I highly recommend this place. If your wondering what we do with the plastics, we drive them over to the City's recycle place one street east just down the road and put them into the plastic bin and all is happy. Didn't fill the land fill, saved us from a longer drive, and saved the $35 dump fee.

Easily the best place to recycle metal in Albuquerque. I was amazed with how friendly and helpful the entire staff was, from unloading my material to getting paid out. The yard supervisor is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell he values each customer sincerely. I just read all the negative reviews, and I can't help but think that the people who think they're getting "low-balled" just have no idea really of the actual metal they're bringing in. Great place to do business! 5 stars

Soon as I pulled up I was bombarded by at least 5 guys helping me of coarse unload scrap metal (ya right) they took stuff in so fast I didn't have time to separate it from aluminum brass copper ect... I tried to stop them but the boss said he take care of it so I believed him then all that was on the ticket I was given was code words and #s for the types of metal I took it to cashier and it was like $38.00 I almost had a heart attack I was so pissed. I went to office they told me to go talk to foreman in charge couldn't find him now no where to be found and every other person didn't speak or understand English now!!!! GO FIGURE. so went back to office they gave me run around so I figure out what they gave me on the recipt for their code words and none of the prices came back for copper which I had a lot of and I had a big jar of pennies they took and said they couldn't take it for copper against law to melt down money which I forgot about? But coulnt explain why they took it, which is explain in story, and a big sheet of aluminum and a bunch of other thick pieces of clean aluminum. ton of brass that was actually A/C tools from snapon tools and just all kinds of stuff came up missing and not on ticket. so I called office back after I got home and couldn't let it go! So the office manager said she would look into it and look at the cameras to see if anything showed up on them that looked suspicious to her. I thought well at least I felt alittle better telling her about the problem, not that it would do any good or anything.I had to call her back several times and then 5:00 quiting time came nothing, next morning called talked to her again and she assured me she would look into it and she did finally after persistence but she agreed it looked like I definently got taken to the cleaners but since I left the business I should have came in right away I did tell her I did but no speaky English was all I got out of everyone back there and no foreman to be found (disappeared like ghost) (wet back piece of s--t ghost). She said there was nothing she could do I should have watched them closer or tried to stop them!!!!!. like that was going to happen they have that ILLEAGAL GIMMICK DOWN PAT. Do that to almost every customer they make exsta $1000 bucks easy a day. they took me for $200 to $250??? only a estimate but close to that. THANX FOR TAKING TIME TO READ THIS AND HOPE IT DOESNT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO BACK OR TO THE RIO RANCHO STORE EITHER.

Went to their so called satellite site on Juan Tabo, and took in according to my receipt 212 pounds of aluminum and 7 pounds of tin. Thought the amount paid was very little and did not bother to see how much they paid per pound or even how much weight I took in. Later as I was telling my sister how much I received she pointed out that they had underpaid me by almost 100 pounds! I am visually impaired and did not even realize this as I did not see the receipt. I've contacted the main office on 2nd street via email and still have not gotten back to me. I had tried to call the number on the receipt and it was to the 2nd street address but they said it was not them but the satellite location. Which they have no phone you can call and I therefore have to wait until I get a ride back to see if they correct the problem. Be careful that they do not do this to you!!!!!

This place is always busy because they have the best prices in town and will beat any competitors advertised prices! They have paved their roads going to gate 5 and now its easy to get in and out after dropping off steel or aluminum! Acme Iron and metal is bar none the best in town! I wouldn't go anywhere else!
