Now I wasn’t in the store for long but I called for Jaws Unleashed and I kinda felt bad because I kept calling so many days about the game but in the end they were all very nice and helpful and definitely will return to the store in the future!!
This place has stuff for just about every console imaginable, they have working demos and staff is super helpful. Tons of Easter eggs everywhere and prices are reasonable. Will come back again.

Retro Classics is an amazing video game store! A lot of love is clearly put into the store. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I could get lost in there for hours, and every game I've purchased has worked perfectly. It is the perfect place for nostalgic '90s kids. Thank you!
Prices aren't always fair, especially when there's only one option for a Switch. Although they have a great variety of items, this place doesn't have everything you're looking for. And the service is neutral at best. So, be careful when you spend money here because it goes from neutral to the negative zone quick. Even if you spend $300+ dollars in one fell swoop one second ago. Never going here again. You've been warned that this place is somewhat average and the service is definitely not upstanding. Only come here, I guess, when the owner is here because the other employees are very disengaging. When you come in and you're excited about something and you ask questions about it, they're rude. And not to mention the fact that 2-3 of them were eating pizza behind the cash register in the front when there were customers in the store in the back and in the front. Good riddance.
Amazing service! The owner and I talked about how great RE 3 remake Jill was for 30 minutes then helped me with some questions I had about the Dreamcast. Would recommend shopping here!
The store is Amazing clean and you can find everything organized really nicely according to the sections the people are helpful an know a lot about games everything you possibly need is in here come shop ✝️?
The store and location are wonderful with unbeatable prices! My father and I were helped attentively by the sales person and we bought an eye candy of N64 for cheaper than we thought. We are very happy, THANK YOU!
Been coming to this store regularly for about seven years now and they never disappoint. Especially since they moved to the new location, the quality of everything has always been top notch. I can tell the staff is so passionate about games and I always have great interactions with them ESPECIALLY the fabled "Pony Tail Guy", Cameron. Every time anyone hands him a 50 or 100 dollar bill and he checks that it's real he lets out a huge sigh and goes "it's realll" it makes my day. Cam you're a treasure and every snarky remark brings so much joy. Will support this place until I go broke. Long live Puppers, long live RCVG!!
I love coming to this store. From my very first visit I've had nothing but fun and engaging encounters. Just recently bought a psp from here for a good value and was able to get the support and help I needed from the owner, very kind and did everything he could to help me. They went out of their way to find a solution when they could have easily told me I'm out of luck. Never got to thank him, but this store will always be my first go-to for my collecting and gaming needs!

Excellent collection and organization. Was looking for 5 separate games on several consoles, was able to find them all within 10-15 minutes. Paul went the extra mile to make sure the games cases were in good condition and devoid of any sticker residue!
Paul, the owner, was so incredibly accommodating to my fiance and I. We came in looking for video game centerpieces for our wedding and he did not disappoint. He showed us a slew of unique ideas, going as far as offering to 3D print jumbo cartridges for us of our fave games. When we finally settled on using retro cases, he cleaned them up with care for us to ensure they were in mint condition. We have shopped here all year and will continue to choose this store as our top choice. Their attention to detail and passion for collectibles is second to none.
As soon I walked in Cameron welcomed me with awesome energy! This place is backed with everything a gamer needs! Paul the owner also has a cool section with swords from characters. He spent an awesome amount of time showing me around and answering all my questions. Definitely come check this place out!
Place was amazing. Ton of stuff packed into a small place. Great for browsing old tech and finding what you want. For me it was also a nostalgia trip. There is also a big section of Japanese pop culture stuff. Staff were super helpful and happy to chat with us while we geeked out.
Even while I was shopping and spending money at Retro Classics, the staff were rude, dismissive, and showed zero interest in helping. It’s frustrating to be treated like an inconvenience as a paying customer. On top of that, the prices are way too high. It honestly feels like they’re scamming people who aren’t familiar with fair market value. If you're looking for a better experience, I highly recommend checking out Digital Press Video Games instead with way better service and much more reasonable pricing.

I wanted to follow up on my experience at Retro Classics. It’s clear the owner didn’t fully read or understand my original review, and their response came off as hostile instead of helpful, which only reinforces the poor customer service I experienced.
Despite that, I still chose to be respectful and spent $83 on three items: a third-party controller and two overpriced games. But after this visit, I decided to take my business elsewhere to a store that not only values its customers but also keeps up with fair, current pricing.
Let me be clear: the only reason I gave this place two stars is because of one polite gentleman who helped me during my visit. Even after cutting himself while assisting me, he remained professional and kind, unlike the owner, who barked “what are you waiting for?” at me while I was still browsing. That’s not customer service that’s being aggressive and rude.
And here's something even more disturbing: I learned from the other retro store I visited (where I happily spent over $200) that Retro Classics allegedly has an issue with a certain demographic of customers. I was told that some people have even been told not to return, solely based on that. If that’s true, it's beyond unacceptable.
So, sir, be grateful for the 2 stars. You didn’t earn them, but your employee did.
Best video game store we have ever visited in the country! You can tell the owner really, really loves what he does with a passion! He was also very kind to my boys and gifted them a couple of keychains and a refrigerator magnet. If you are in the area definitely check it out! ?
We went in knowing we wanted a Super Nintendo 64, and the sales associate was incredibly helpful. They took the time to walk us through everything - recommending games (we walked out with 007, Pokemon Stadium, Mario Kart, Super Mario, & Pokémon Snapped) showing us the adapters we’d need, and explaining how it all works. Highly recommend!
This place is a must to visit! They have a great selection of games and equipment. I also love that they’ve expanded their selection of pins, toys, and other little fun collectibles. I’ve sold to them in the past and feel like I’ve gotten a fair payout from them although it’s been five years since I’ve sold anything to them. On my last visit I asked to see if they had a specific product and although they didn’t, the owner gave me tons of information to help me out. I really love visiting this place and hope it’s gonna be around for many many years to come!
I’ve visited this store before and was impressed by the wide range of products and their organized layout. Recently, I went there to troubleshoot a Game Boy Advance that wasn’t charging, and they were incredibly helpful. When I needed a new charger, they were even willing to trade it for a figure I had brought along. I highly recommend this store for video games and consoles, particularly older ones.
Came here with my kids for the first time and am very impressed with how nice the store is. Purchased a few items. Was also going to purchase a new copy of Wii Sports and I believe the owner overheard me saying to my kids we already own a copy that isn’t working because it’s scratched and said to bring in that copy and he can most likely repair it for less than buying a new one, which I will do within the next few days. I appreciate the honesty. Highly recommended
It's a great place overall! Massive upgrade from the old store on Division Street for sure. A couple of things for anyone interested in visiting:
The staff are very very helpful! Couldn't have gotten anywhere without them. The owner is super super nice and all of the employees are very patient with everything. They are experts in all fields with video games so I would go to them with questions.
They do have a dog as a pet, but he is super super nice! Puppers (Name of the dog) is super friendly and a great pet to have around. They sell cute stickers of him at the counter! Great addition to the store! :)
Everything is organized, clean, and takes you back to the 80s and 90s. The LED signs all over the place that pop out at you with the words "Nintendo" and the boxed games and systems behind the shelf are great displays and put you in awe.
Overall, great place! I do have to say though, they can be very tough with negotiations, but in a good way since they also have to make some money. Sold my Nintendo 64 system, 4 controllers, and about 10 games including Donkey Kong and Mario 64 for about $300. I was expecting a little more, but overall I was happy.
They have everything, and when I mean everything, I mean it. From Atari to Xbox and from Nintendo to PlayStation, they have it all. New and old. They will have anything that you are looking for. Amazing place and highly suggest it!
Really great selection of games but maybe in need of better customer service. The amount of games as well as titles was impressive on its own. They had games from pretty much every console; Nintendo everything but also PlayStation from every generation and the consoles that are no longer around like Atari and Sega. Good to find in-box and loose games. The only issue I had was that the gentleman behind the counter was needlessly indifferent to everything I said whether it was saying I liked certain games and wanted to find those titles if they had them or just making friendly small talk. Maybe it was an off day for that worker but they definitely made the atmosphere significantly less inviting.
Great selection of games, they have something for all consoles and some hardware too. Only downside is that most of the items are overpriced, even when condition is not good. Probably worth it if you are looking for something rare they happen to have.
Have been steadily building my PS1 collection and if it wasn't for this shop I wouldn't have much of a collection. They have a nice variety and frequent circulation of new items. Not only that but the prices are better than most online and retail competitors.
Also like to add that the games are in decent to great condition. Have yet to buy a dud from them but they will fix duds found or from there. The shop has cleaned up very nicely from the way it was in the past. Some games are hard to read prices with out help though. However, it's easy to get to what you want and the good stuff.
