The owner himself, Kelvi took care of me.
Not being the most mechanically inclined, he explained to me exactly what was wrong and showed me as well. Turned out to be a radiator. Left the car around opening time and got a call about 2ish hours later when it was ready to be picked up. Absolutely fast service, incredibly polite, very punctual, great communication and great pricing! If you need a shop recommendation. This is the spot. I’ve known Kelvi for several years from a small shop owner to his expansion to Martinsville. He has remained well versed in repairing and upkeep of my VW Jetta, remained reasonably priced and his customer service is like no other that l’ve experienced in Jersey!
Kelvis Auto is the real deal. I’ve gone to Kelvis multiple times now and every single experience has been excellent. Kelvi is both knowledgeable and trustworthy — which is getting harder and harder to find in the auto world.
I’ve had several different issues addressed with him including a tire replacement after a pothole hit, diagnosing and replacing a failing water pump (same day!), a transmission service, and even a battery replacement that required specialized computer programming. Every time I’ve brought my car in, the service has been fast — very often same day even when parts were needed — and the pricing has always been more than fair.
I highly recommend Kelvis Auto. I will continue to use him for all future service needs and refer anyone I know his way.
Kelvis is the best. He was very knowledgeable with my 2018 Ford expedition and that 3.5 L Ford engine. He was able to quickly diagnose my issue by doing a pressure test on my cooling system. We were able to find a part close by even though it was gonna arrive after he closed. He stayed open for me and replaced the part. I just showed up with no appointment and he was willing to help me out and get me back on the road. I wish he was my local mechanic because I would use him all the time
I asked if they do trade-ins for tires and unfortunately, they do not. However, he recommended me getting some wheel spacers adapters. I was calling multiple shops and they just shut me down. This was the only tire shop who recommended me an alternative which I highly appreciate.
I’ve had a great experience with Kelvis Garage. They’re honest, hardworking, and truly care about their customers. I first went there with a slow leak in my tire, and they took care of it the same day quickly and without any hassle. Another time, I stopped by to schedule a brake replacement, and instead of pushing unnecessary work, they were upfront and told me the brakes didn’t need to be changed yet, suggesting I come back in a few months.

Kelvi was recommended by Warren Auto Salvage for an engine swap, and I'm glad I asked them, because he's the best mechanic I've ever hired to work on one of my vehicles. After I saw he worked on a 1967 Mustang, I knew he was an expert in what he did. And he does it ALL. He did an engine swap for me in one day, with a brand new GM engine on a 20-year old Malibu MAXX. I'll be going to him from now on, and I already started recommending him to my friends and anyone who asks in the future for a good, reliable, & most of all, HONEST mechanic. He said he didn't want to add work to my bill without asking, and that's when I realized he's truly a solid, stand-up guy, and talented & dedicated to what he does for a living.

Had a great experience taking my car in for a brake job. I was looking for a local garage after getting tired of dealership prices and I came across Kelvis on Google search. I like to support local businesses when I can and I was able to call and get scheduled the same day at this place. They did fantastic work and they were very quick about it too, with a very reasonable price for a full 4 wheel brake job. Definitely recommended for any work you need done on your vehicle.
Kelvis auto shop are great and honest mechanics to work with. They worked on a Range Rover, it need it a lot of work done and I was updated on all procedures. He showed me all the parts that need to get worked on. Everyone is polite and friendly. Will continue to work with them. 100% recommend them.
I’ve been going to Kelvis for over a year with my car. He is a very honest and open mechanic. He gives you a breakdown of what’s wrong with the car before he starts working on it and when he is finished she shows you what he did (the old parts he took out and the new ones he replaced). Kelvis is very trustworthy and reasonable. He’s one of the best mechanics I’ve dealt with.
