I know them as Bedminster Tire and auto and I have been going to them for well over 15 years. Besides doing great service at an affordable price, their trustworthiness is most valuable to me. So many times, I thought it was a more expensive problem when it was a really cheap fix and they were very forthcoming. If I have an emergency or need my truck back quickly, they have always been able to accommodate me. They have handled engine repairs, electrical issues, tire changes, fifth wheel installed as well as trailer inspections for me. I don’t give compliments easy and I rarely post reviews. I almost didn’t post this because I don’t want them to get too busy for me!
Ridge auto has been great. Very honest, they always review the repairs with me very thoroughly and the get the job done fast. They keep my 3 Series BMW running very smoothly.
Recently picked up my Jeep from here after having the do work on my brakes and a few other things that needed doing. I found this place after seeing all the glowing google reviews and those stars are absolutely earned! The guys were great and did an awesome job on my car! I was so frustrated with going to the dealership and I’m so glad I found Ridge Auto. The pricing was incredibly fair for the amount of work that was done, they had great communication and updated me constantly. Rest assured if you bring your vehicle here the work will be done right the first time and by honest, hardworking people. Cannot recommend Ridge Auto and Tire enough! Thanks for being great!

This morning I called Ridge Auto & Tire with a dead battery & Mo came by personally to jump start my car! This was an exceptional act of human kindness appreciated beyond words that could ever be written in a review. What I can express is I have been a very satisfied Ridge customer for several years & my experience with the work on my car has always been high quality & efficient & always done with the utmost integrity. I would recommend without hesitation!
Really appreciate Mohammed and team who always offers fast, quality service and more importantly the best price option for their customers. Yet again, the team went above and beyond in my last visit by recommending me to go to the dealer after researching that the issue was covered under extended warranty. End result, I was able to get the problem fixed at the dealers for $0.

A friendly garage that gets the work done right the first time. Mo and his crew provide outstanding service and are trustworthy. Which is something usually not associated with auto repair. I wouldn’t bring our Jeep, Lexus or Nissan anywhere else.
I had 2 blowouts on my 5th wheel RV on I-78 in Bedminster, NJ. It happened late at night so I had to park it and come back next day. First thing in the morning I called Ridge Auto and Tire. They were great and accommodating on the phone. Ordered my two tires immediately and I drove out to their location. Tires arrived a little after 1 pm. They jumped on it right away and my tires were ready before 2. I couldn’t be happier. I only wish I lived closer because they would be my go to shop for all my auto repair needs!
My daughter and I were traveling from CT to PA, following my Dad's funeral. My car became totally disabled just as we exited Rt 287. My car had to be towed and Ridge Auto was an AAA recommended shop. The gentleman, Mohammad at the repair shop was very kind and patient (I was frantic). My car needed extensive work done which took several days. Mohammad made sure that I found the closest rental car agency so my daughter and I could continue on our way. I was kept updated on a daily basis as to what was needed and the cost of the repairs. I picked the car up on a Saturday and it ran perfectly all the way to CT. Pricing was very fair, and I was given a detailed explanation of what was done to give to my mechanic in CT. I have nothing but good things to say about Ridge Auto!
A nice local shop you can trust. Mo doesn't just fix codes, he fixes problems. And he takes the time to talk with you (not at you) and listens to get the right solution for you. Diagnosed a tire sensor issue and did a reset to clear a weird condition instead of just replacing parts for $250 like I was expecting. All is good for now at least.
Two young women traveling from out of state, desperate for help came in for a check engine light and malfunctioning temperature gauge. The owner was very short and curt with us. Explained that he already had work to do for the day; we are not ignorant to the fact that mechanics are busy and have other work to do, but this man did not even offer to look at it for us. Would never recommend, left us in a very dangerous situation.
Just left the shop, the team here is progessional, honest and experts at what they do. They even let me work from their office so I didn't have to take time away from work for some very overdue car love!
Excellent service, I brought in my car because i had some issues. My car was getting looked at very carefully and they took there time which i prefer. i 100% recommend this shop. If i could do more than 5 stars i would!
This is the shop that you can count on for honesty, clarity and skilled techs. In fact the last time I was in I told the owner you are not billing enough for your hourly.
Why would I say that. Because, shops like this a hard find because Moe and his techs are about making sure when you vehicle leaves the shop it is leaving more reliable than when it came in.

Excellent service. Mohammed and team are putting extra efforts to find the problems and fix it. I went with a steering problem in my Hyundai Sonata. They spend good amount of time to find the root cause and fixed it on the same day. I’m becoming a regular customer to them. Highly recommend their services.
Great and reliable service, emailed Mohammad what I needed and gave me a call to confirm and verify the VIN # for the necessary parts and service.
Quick turnaround and affordable price
Absolutely great mechanics. I know you see a lot of these type of reviews but for real they are awesome. I have an older car that was running terrible to the point where I was ready to get rid of it. I brought it to Ridge auto the entire crew, there is very courteous, kind and willing to work with you, both the manager and the mechanic will come out and explain things to you. that need to be done and also things that need to be done but can wait if you are concerned with a budget. He is not out to hose anybody. When they were done with that car it ran so well it is like a different vehicle. It needed new intake gaskets, some light front end work, and a few other things, I have brought multiple vehicles to him now including my ram pick up that needed a fuel pump. He stands by all his work they have been in business for quite a while. Don’t hesitate to bring your vehicles there. Thank you guys.
Amazing. Highly recommended. Our battery died while traveling w small children 10 mins before store closing. Not only did they have the right battery in stock they came to us promptly and changed it for a very reasonable price.
I have recently visited Ridge Auto as my 11-year-old Toyota Yaris was making too much noise. I met Mo, one of the proprietors of this repair shop. He is very knowledgeable, and explained to me all the problems in detail and fixed them. The car now drives like new. The charge was reasonable and they did not charge for unnecessary “fixing”, that many car repair shops do. I am very happy with their service and look forward to visit again, when/if any problem occurs in the future. I would recommend highly of this facility.

Had a great experience with Basking Ridge Tire! Barry was able to get me in first thing in the morning when I called at 6pm the night before. Honest, reasonable & extremely nice! I love when I find a great new place!
The office & waiting room are newly redone and there is even coffee & snacks for while you are waiting!
They also do other car repairs & oil changes! I will be bringing my cars there in the future!!
FYI - they’ve recently moved into this new location on Valley Road from Bedminster! They also have no affiliation with the gas station. I’m glad I decided to call them last night!!
I wandered into this place by accident. I needed a tire patched and saw that the bays were open so decided to stop in. Normally I would have nothing to do with this Delta station, but I think it's important to note that Ridge Auto and Tire only rents the bays from Delta, they're not under the same management. Anyway, they've renovated the inside, it's quite nice. Mo and his people are professional, friendly, on the level and quick. They were nice enough to patch my tire on the spot. A few days later I brought the same car in for other services and they were great. I'm biased because they're right around the corner, but I've definitely found my mechanic. These guys used to be in Bedminster but recently relocated to Ridge. I highly recommend them.
I'm rarely write online reviews but I had to stop and let consumers know this shop goes above and beyond your expectations. I moved out of state during covid 19 and had a huge problem with car emissions in the other state I moved to.
Mo took on my problem as HIS problem and made calls to the state authorities to get me the information needed to get the emissions documents extended in the place Moved. It saved me having to go to Florida (where my daughter is using the car for college) and drive it back to the northeast simply for an emissions test.

can't say enough about Bedminster Tire, our son had a flat tire driving back, needing to get here in time for an airport trip for vacation; called and they found the right size tire (not a common size) and ordered it in time to install late afternoon right after the tow brought the car in; got him back on the road in time to save our vacation, most appreciated.
I had to make an emergency pit stop after having some difficulties with my tire. They took the time to help me, even though it was last minute, by checking my tire for holes and also by refilling my tires. Sent me on my way and I am grateful for their help!
Barry & his crew are top notch. They are incredibly honest, courteous and work hard to please. We have been taking our vehicles to them for probably 15+ years! We have recommended them to our friends and neighbors and they are all thrilled. Can't say enough good things.
