I’ve been using Stonehouse Fuel & Service quite a bit over the last couple of years and they have always been fair, honest, and straight with me. But this last experience really proved who they are.
I broke down about 100 miles from home with my sick child in the car. I called Ray, and instead of brushing me off or just telling me to tow it, he helped me diagnose the issue over the phone. He walked me through what was likely going on, told me it should be safe to drive slowly to get home — but was very clear: if you hear X, Y, or Z, pull over immediately and get to the closest service station. That guidance alone gave me confidence and peace of mind in a stressful moment.
We made it home safely. Ray had already pre-ordered the parts based on our conversation. They had the bearing and wheel assembly replaced in about two hours. When they called, I thought it was just to confirm the issue — but the car was already done.
Ray genuinely saved me that day. His team is great, efficient, and professional. It’s hard to find people you can truly trust with your family’s safety — Stonehouse is that place. Highly recommend.
I can’t say enough good things about this local car repair shop. The guys here are incredibly loyal, honest, and dependable. I’ve had several service experiences with them over the years, and every single time they’ve been great.
A couple of years ago, my tire had a nail in it, and they fixed it quickly and at a very fair price. More recently, a warning sign came on in my car about the airbag, and I was honestly freaking out. I drove straight over, and they were calm, patient, and extremely professional. They took the time to explain everything step by step and eventually discovered that my daughter’s toy ring was stuck in the seatbelt socket.
The fact that they were able to identify something so simple, explain it clearly, and not make it a bigger issue than it was really says a lot about their integrity. It’s amazing to find a repair shop you can truly trust. We’re so grateful to have such an honest, professional, and reliable team right here in our local area.

I am compelled to leave a review for this business because of not just the excellent service on maintaining my car over the past year, but most of all because of how honest Ray and his staff are. On two occasions, I could have easily been charged way more than I was. What prompted this review was a couple weeks ago I went in thinking it was time for me to do my brakes (possibly including rotors). I told Ray I thought I'm overdue and after they assessed the car, the verdict was I didn't even need to do my brakes yet. That told me everything about how they do business. I have bought tires there, gotten oil changes, they repaired my car after I had to drive through flood waters and had damage. Each time, the work was done excellently and the customer service was professional and positive. I used to take my car to the dealership but switched happily after all of these positive experiences.
Needed a quick oil change. It happened to take less than an hour, which was excellent. And during this time I was able to walk my dog and run an errand at lyons mall. It’s a convenient spot.
I have worked with Ray and his team for nearly 15 years, when they with Somerset Hill Tires. The technicians are highly knoweldgeable and Ray is responsive with questions / updates. Stonehouse's reflexibility with auto repairs makes it much more convenient for the customer. I would recommend to Stonehouse to friends and family.

I brought my car in for inspection and was serviced right away, as Ray had promised when I originally called. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, and it was also affordable. It didn’t take long at all. I will come back again in 2 years for my next inspection.
Ordered tires from Tire Rack and Stonehouse Fuel & Service was one of the installers near me and was priced well. After seeing their high rating I decided to give them a try. Ray was very pleasant to deal with and the job was done in a timely manner. They have my business going forward with future tire mounting and balancing.
I was on I-287 when my car started making an awful noise. Google directed me here. Ray & his team took good care of me & I was back on the road in a couple of hours. Explained clearly what the problem was, how it would be fixed, how much it would cost. Also the shop was well lit & super clean. Highly recommend!

So clean and professional. Ray and the management here run this shop like a tight ship. It was honestly run more efficiently than a large dealership mechanic. Great experience at All Tire Stonehouse this week. I had new tires installed on both my cars and the whole team was efficient, friendly, and highly competent. Prices were also great! I’ll continue to use them for my automotive needs going forward.
Ray is a good and friendly mechanic. He accurately diagnosed the part I needed after I had visited other workshops that couldn't pinpoint the exact issue. Overall, great service, though a bit pricey.
Finally, my check engine light is off, and I got my car inspected by him. Now, it's good to go for another two years.

Excellent service! The repair shop is fantastic. Ray goes above and beyond to assist customers. They managed to fit us in for an emergency alternator repair at the last minute, preventing us from being stranded for the weekend. Not only did they provide a fair price, but they also completed the repair in less than three hours, allowing us to hit the road again promptly.
