I went here to get my car fixed after it was overheating and also leaking oil. They gave me a price for both. We agreed to a price and the work was done. When I picked up my car. I noticed several issues with the quality of the repair. Dirty fingerprints and footprints. They left items in my car that were not mine. They also opted to use my coolant left in my car without my consent. I did not care, but I opened the hood and saw a clamp not fastened. I'm like hmm ok. There was also oil leaking out in my engine, but I thought maybe this is normal. I drove my car for a few days and then again, my car overheated within days and broke down. To their respect they sent out a tow but left me to uber to work from that spot and never offered me anything for that. They told me their workers did not fasten a clamp or something. That explains the clamp, I guess. The overheating issues went away, but since that repair I have had nothing but problems with oil leaks and my car's ability to retain oil is basically an ongoing issue even though they were supposed to fix that problem. I do not recommend this auto repair shop.
Haven't had any repairs done but went here for my car inspection and was able to get it done while I waited (minimal wait). obviously your experience may vary if you come on a busy day or there are two other people that came in before you asking for the same thing etc.
I came on a weekday around 930am. Left very happy!

It did not start
A stayer motor was installed $ 700 1 day later,
Needed an alternator.
The battery tested out fine.
Why was that not discussed?

Quite surprised that the staff at Cherokee car care told me they had no idea who owns the gas station. They told me they own the service station only. I asked because I was told they would not put window washer fluid in my car when I went to get gas. I’ve been getting gas there for years. I was told it was not their job? This was new to me as I’ve never been told my a gas station attendant that they couldn’t or wouldn’t put window washer fluid into my car. Not exactly great customer service. Needless to say I won’t be frequenting that station any longer and was able to get assistance elsewhere nearby. It’s a shame.
Kindest people and best service ever!! They are very courteous & time efficient. I would highly recommend bringing your car in for any needed services!!
When my brakes started making a strange sound on a Friday night, I was excited to see on Google that Cherokee Car Care has Saturday hours. I went to their website and was surprised, but thrilled, to see that I could make a appointment on Sunday. When I arrived today, the gentleman who informed me that they do not have weekend hours was very kind and polite. I would try to make an appointment again, but please call for an appointment. Their online system is not accurate.
We highly recommend, they are honest, courteous and get the job done. Pat and Don always have excellent communication from updating the repairs to the final bill. And they stand by their work!
On the way home from picking my daughter up at Cherokee I had run out of gas one car had stopped to see what was the matter and he went straight to Cherokee car care center and they came to rescue me,my rescuer's name is Muhammad he made sure I had plenty of gas to get home did not charge me for the 7 gallons by the way I went back gave him a hug and thanked him for being so amazing there are good people out there I will be going to Cherokee car care center from now on and seeing Muhammad if I need any help what a doll Thank you to Steve the one who went and found mohammed for me
Great shop, the mechanics friendly knowledgeable and most important, fair. These guys won't overcharge, they are honest and they get the job done correctly and expeditiously.
I was able to get my State inspection done in less then 15 minutes for $35. It was such a great experience. They we quick easy and were pushing me to get other work done. It was so much better then waiting in the long lines at the DMV.
I recently came here during covid-19 bc they had a sign posted out front saying “free oil change for first responders & healthcare workers.” I was hesitant bc I had gone to another mechanic that had the same sign posted outside (Mayer’s Auto Shop in Medford, NJ) and I was turned down bc I am a Certified Home Healthcare Aide, not a ‘nurse.’ I left that place in tears and was completely belittled by the husband and wife duo that owned this shop that I didn’t want to go through the same thing again. When I went to Cherokee Car Center, the man was so kind and looked at my healthcare license and the only thing he requested I did was make an appointment. I made an appointment for the following day and arrived a half hour early- he took me in no problem and was so incredibly kind and professional. Would definitely recommend Cherokee Car Center.
Had my car towed in by Keith's towing and apparently suffered an alternator problem. After investigating, the staff found that it was just a loose wire to the starter. These wonderful fellas only made me pay for the tow, which I of course understood . Would absolutely recommend them and they are going to receive my future business.
I have been using Cherokee Car care to fix my families cars for over a decade. Pat and his team are the best local mechanics in the area and have gotten me out of a jam on more than one occasion. They have always gone out of their way to make sure we got our cars back when we needed them. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best mechanics around!
As a life long Marlton resident, Cherokee Exxon has now proven to be equally as lousy as they were in the late 90s... Unprofessional, horribly slow, and quick to be rude! I had my vehicle towed to Holman(after she sat in their lot for 2 days). Holman hooked it up! -I got an awesome loaner car and I was back on the job in my truck within 24 hours! The way the real world works! I hate to give a bad review-but these guys should be ashamed of the way they conducted business...
Great mechanic that gets the job done! Dropped off my van without an appointment, and the mechanic had it fixed within a couple hours. I will return for future car care needs.
