I tried to purchase two parts off a vehicle. Prices and pickup were agreed to and I even confirmed the night before that the parts were still available. I arrived first thing the next morning. I was told 1 item was "gone" and the other was no longer for sale. The worst part of the experience was that I told him I was coming from 90 minutes away and to let me know if there were any changes. Wasted 3 hours driving to this place. AVOID at all costs. Couldn't be more unprofessional.
I sent a customer to them for an item that was available, Once arrive they said item sold. I told them i came from far and they knew i was coming. I was told they ( I don't care have a good day) not professional at all
Called yesterday to have them pick up a car...said they would get back to us. Never did so we called again and gave them same info as yesterday and suddenly they can't do it because it's "too far". Yeah, 8.4 miles down one road is "too far"! Donate your car instead of dealing with these people if you're not down the road.
[Edit] The people who came for my car were from Newark which is 45 minutes away and quite a bit farther than where these people are located. Clearly GM Scrap and Metal just didn't want my patronage, which they will not be getting in the future, and I will share this review to ensure that no one else I know does either.
