We have been coming to Hershey for years, sadly, this year will be our last... The property has gone down hill the last couple times we stayed here. Most of the staff are great, and helpful but that does not make up for the unusable WIFI (even in a room near the office), clogged shower drain, soiled (blood?) blanket. I would suggest putting noisy pot smoking "residents" on the top floor in the back of the motel. These issues could easily be rectified if management cared about thr property and customers.

The rooms looked clean but found long black hair in bathroom and my white socks were BLACK after wearing in room.

First time staying here with my family and it was a good experience. It's one block off the board walk so that was real convenient and its basically at the start of where all the stores begin on the board walk too so you get to see everything. The room I was in you could see the faris wheel at night which was real cool to watch the lights. They brought an extra chair for us to sit in so we all had one to sit in outside on the deck which was considerit of them since I never had to ask for it First thing I do at motels is check for bed bugs and this place was clean, no bed bugs or dirt. I really like that the room is tiled rather than carpet since most motel carpet is pretty nasty. The pool was nice and never over crowded. I messed up on the booking website and they e mailed me telling me how to make it right. then I messed up again and she called me, gave me the booking numbers and everything I needed to cancel the rooms and just set it up for me over the phone. Even saved me some money on top of it. Out of all the places I looked at to stay ( spent a couple days deciding and comparing)this is the best place for the money and the facilities offered. Edit I stayed here again and everything was just as good as the first time. Will definitely be where I always stay when in the area. The palm trees are a great touch to the atmosphere.

Stayed here during our vacation 8/7-8/15. The hotel is right around the corner from the Jersey Shore house. It's within walking distance to the boardwalk and beach and while we walked a couple of times, we drove the majority of the time. It's a very family friendly hotel! There are 3 buildings in a U shape. The 2 front buildings have a view of the pool area on one side and the street on the other. The back building is where we stayed, on the 4th floor and the sunsets were incredible! The rooms are a decent size and pretty basic. Theres a tv, microwave and mini fridge. It's "recreational area" has the game room in a little building, all centered around the nice sized pool, and a little kiddies pool that replaced the hot tub. The game room is a big room, with restrooms but it was being re-done while we were there. They have an on site restaurant with fries that were absolutely incredible! Theres also vending machines outside of the office for late night snacks. Doordash and Walmart delivered to us during our stay and staff brought the delivery person over to us at the pool. For those of you who don't spend a ton of time in their hotel room, and don't feel the need to spend on luxury hotels you won't be in most of the time, this hotel is for you. You get 5star service for so much less!

Absolutely a fantastic hotel with every amenity you could possibly need. From clean and roomy rooms to a huge pool, restaurant, pub, and every one makes you feel like there family, walking distance to the boardwalk and beach. My wife and I first time staying there and it won’t be our last!! 5 stars!!

Amazing family team runs it- Nice Clean Rooms - Great staff & I always make new friends!! Only downside was that the people above were like elephants & stomped all day & night long & was playing basketball at 2 am.. Overall it was a great time

I love this place. Staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms are clean, and they have been every single time my family and I come to this awesome motel. My only complaint is the pillows. They are not puffy pillows, so I recommend that you ask for 2 for yourself, or bring your own. The pool in my opinion is probably the biggest one in seaside heights. The water temperature is very refreshing. They do a very good job taking care of the pool and pool area before it opens in the morning. I highly recommend this motel.

One of the best motels in Seaside Heights. The location is amazing and the staff very kind and helpful. We were able to get a room the same day after another location named after a bird turned out to be terrible. Loved the amenities, the pool area was really nice and fairly big, and the on-site restaurant was really nice, if a bit pricey. Definitely would stay here again if I find myself in Seaside Heights again!

Mary Kate and Ann are absolutely the best! After being scammed by a different motel and needing to find a 3 night stay in Seaside Heights NJ, Mary Kate and Ann welcomed us as if we had been friends for years. We were allowed to check in early no extra charge and given beach passes. The room was huge with 2 very comfortable double beds, fridge, microwave, TV and large dresser. Exceptionally clean and the A C was set at a good temperature so we didnt have to wait for the room to cool down. Everything about this place is great.The pool, the onsite diner, the grounds are clean, the staff friendly and professional. Have already decided to book the Hershey Motel for next years vacation.

Lets start out with the good.||Very friendly staff. Quick check in. Clean room.||The bad!||Even though smoking is not allowed inside the guest rooms, they allow smoking on the balcony outside the rooms. So as luck has it, the chain smoker in the room next to us went to town smoking on the balcony. Everytime I opened my door, the smoke from their disgusting habit went into my room.||I confronted the staff regarding this and they said its allowed.||Here is some common sense, if you're going to permit it outside, setup a losers, I mean desiginated area for these inconsiderate smokers.||This is a deal breaker and we will not be back to this motel!

Staff was amazing when my sister was forced to leave her car behind. They accommodated us u til it could be towed. They went above and beyond and saved us a lot of money. Strongly recommend their staff

The best motel in Seaside Heights- Hershey Motel! Friendly and accommodating staff. Great location. Restaurant onsite, now offering room service. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Never have I been disappointed staying here year after year. Prices are reasonable, especially since you're paying for better quality compared to other motels in the area, which I have stayed at a few to compare Hershey. Worth every penny, stay here at Hershey Motel!

Now we all know Seaside Heights motels aren’t known to be fancy but it would be nice if they were clean. This place had a rating of 8.1 on booking.com. Is everyone blind that stays here? First let’s go with the good. Location is good close to beginning of boardwalk, check in lady very kind, and the pool area is ok. When we walked into our room it was about a 100 degrees. Wouldn’t want the guest to walk into a cool room on a hot day now would we? I was just shell shocked on the filth. I do always check my rooms for filth and such but this was reprehensible. I had Lysol wipes with me and immediately wiped the entire room down. I mean it was just disgusting and here is the list: bathtub loaded with hair, shower curtain mildew all over, toilet ruined stains on bottom of seat, ceiling tiles full of mold that was covered up with upshot, sink had more hair, blinds dusty and broken, beds looked like they were made by a 9 year old, refrigerator full of grime and stains, windows filthy, and worst of all mattress so badly stained it looked like they were picked up from the local dump. Who the heck is giving this an 8.1 just look at the pictures it’s not an exaggeration. My kid was exhausted but I dragged him to cvs and grabbed a mop, Lysol, and disinfectant spray. Yup call me crazy I disinfected the entire room and lysoled the floors with the mop. I sprayed the beds down and cleaned the a room that was supposed to be cleaned. $450 I shoulda left but knew I wouldn’t be refunded because I booked through booking.com. I will be filing a credit card dispute. Rent a house if you stay in seaside it’s your only cleanly option. The video on this motels website about the spring cleaning is a joke. The property is in dire need of lots of not just maintenance but simple cleanliness

I would not go anywhere else but this place ever again. Clean, nice family oriented who is awesome. So close to the beach and the boardwalk, if you go anywhere else, you're stupid

I come here every year. I LOVE coming to this motel. It is VERY clean, family oriented and the food is SOOO good. So sad about the rumors about this place being up for sale. This is the place to go with your family during the summer. You will not regret it. My favorite part is the pool and the AMAZING service by the bartenders and the restaurant staff. They are so kind, attentive and they even come to the pool with menus! Love Hersey Motel. Thank you for your great hospitality

Positive: Friendly and helpful staff. Negative: No hot water..And my mini refrigerator was not working ? The shades in the bathroom were broken

The main office greets you with such excellent customer service. The hotel is family orientated kept very very clean.. They have a new restaurant called Dina’s.. The owner was so friendly and inviting the waitress took such good care of us.. I say us because me and my sister been coming here over 20 years. The food was so good.. thank you Hershey’s for another great year

My sisters and I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Hershey. |The Prom kids arrived on our 3rd night and us being old expected we wouldn’t get much sleep. We asked the ladies at the front desk if we could check out a day early. They said it was fine. |We did know shift he the kids would be there but thought we’d be ok. |The rooms are spotless but the customer service was very good. |Thanks again. I’ll be back!!!

Room was clean and tidy. Lots of countertop space and room and chairs for another guest. Fridge was strong and had pretty good space. Only downside is the AC wasn’t reliably keeping the room at a certain temp and the toilet clogged very easily, but the workers came to fix the problem easily and quickly. Paper system is a little old styled but works well; just make sure to read everything thoroughly and double check everything. Very convenient location next to CVS and the boardwalk.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location of the motel is perfect, offering easy access to local attractions and dining options. I also enjoyed the on-site facilities, including the pool and the breakfast service, which added to the overall convenience of my visit.

Great location and close enough to walk to the beach but in a good spot to get away from the crowds. It also has other quick walks like CVS if you need something quick. The staff is great and friendly and we love returning year after year.

The room we got here was so clean and nice! I loved the balcony and the room was so spacious! My check in was quick and pleasant, and the housekeepers were very nice too! The 20mph winds smashed our door into a plastic baclony chair and shattered it. When explaining it to the woman cleaning the room next door as we were leaving, she was very understanding and said it was no problem and wouldn't even accept reimbursement for the broken chair. Best hotel experience I've had in a while!

These are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. The fitted sheets are too small and came completely off from the bed each night. The pillows are extremely flat and provide no support. The floors and baseboards are dirty. The walls are paper thin. The blinds throughout the room are broken and don’t close completely. Our blinds in the bathroom were broken so we had to hang a towel over them so that our neighbors wouldn’t peek inside. I was under the impression that the hotel was a smoke free facility but our neighbors on both sides would smoke outside of their rooms and the smoke would travel into our room. The restaurant on site was very overpriced. A kids meal Mac and cheese with a drink came to $15. The only positive thing about this place was the location. Spend a bit more money and stay somewhere else.

Staff is kind! Room is clean, the room does has minor things but nothing like paint chipping, or dirty like the motel that I was at that I left to come here to! I'm glad I came here to finish my vacation. Pool area is huge, lots of chairs, plus a kiddie pool that was perfect for my 4 year old. Recieved clean towels everyday ( I was only here for 2 days so I was asked if I needed it cleaned but declined. Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved staying here, box springs were dirty, but other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. The staff is super nice and helpful, the free beverages in the lobby were a nice little surprise, loved having our own private balcony, and only 2 blocks from the boardwalk. Would definitely stay again!

Great for a mini getaway. Big spacious rooms, had a private balcony which was nice. Two blocks from the beach. The staff give you beach passes to get on for free. Rooms are a bit old and dated but gets the job done. Clean and had no issue with the staff. Maids were very active on our floor. Pool was very big, only dislike people smoking cigarettes around it because there is kids. They should not allow that in that area. I would stay again.

stayed here for prom weekend and it was a blast! we bought our own sheets and towels just because motels are kinda gross. this one isn’t too bad. if you’re going here’s for prom weekends or just with friends it’s great!! we all got rooms that faced the pool and it was so much fun. the staff are nice and checking in on everyone.
