When we first got there, we seen the parking lot ridiculously tight. We went straight to the main office. We got excited because our room was done early. Me as a former housekeeper, did a room check for bedbugs and all types of craziness didn’t see anything. I thought buying a seven dollar bottle of bleach at 9 o’clock at night would suffice and clean the room entirely to get the stench out. Everything in the hotel is extremely old and outdated. It needs to be fixed and remodel.. The whole entire hotel was booked full of people that look like they were from outer space. We were booked for two days paid already for two days. We really tried to stay. We only stood overnight and could barely do it. My man and my children said they wanted leave immediately the next morning. The guys at the front desk were very nice, but the hotel is not right at all. The pool was very clean. The pool area was OK. And there’s a very heavyset woman in the front of the motel near the main office screaming disgusting things at people! She claims she works there!! Upon giving the front desk, our keys, she came to us screaming our names asking why are we checking out so early? I’m not understanding why the health department in the state is not inside this building!!! Disgusting is the word with all capital letters!!! Trying to get a refund is an understatement. Give it to God please ? NO STARS AT ALL THIS PLACE IS BAD!!!

Door had a lock didn't lock at all bathroom door could see through beds are hard as a rock never thought as a 25 yr old id had back pain like I do. Also pool is nice over chlorinated extremely. I wouldn't stay here location is good but that's about it. Oh and a/c was right on the bed don't stay in 103.

We came here for a three night stay to visit seaside heights, and it was generally okay. The rooms weren't in the best quality, the tv was acting up, and the beds were stained, but the people were really nice and happily replaced the sheets, and were just overall great. The prices are a little high, but these people need to make a living somehow, so I don't really mind. The showers are a little finicky to heat, but it still works. Not too bad of a stay!

First things first — when we first got to the room, it was filthy and we had to ask for it to be cleaned. The room had a constant musky, moldy smell that never went away, even when we checked out. It also had roaches, which was disgusting but sadly not even the worst part. The only positive was that it was walking distance to the boardwalk. But even then, when we asked housekeeping to clean the room while we stepped out again, we made it very clear we’d be back and asked them to lock the door twice. When we returned that evening, we found they had gone through our drawers and stuffed our personal belongings into a pillowcase — including important medication my mom needed. It felt like they treated our things like trash. We got some items back but some were missing, and we even had to call the police and file a report. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. When we checked out, we dropped the key off and asked who the owner was — the man working there was rude and just kept repeating that it’s “family owned” instead of answering our question. To top it off, the door to our room looked like it had been broken into before — it didn’t lock properly and we had to push a table in front of it at night just to feel safe enough to sleep. The parking lot was also tiny — our SUV barely fit, and even a Prius would have felt tight in those spaces. All in all, do not stay here.

Conveniently located across the street from the Boardwalk and a block from Jimmy’s cafe (breakfast) and Klee’s (dinner & drinks). Their friendly staff will make you feel like family, You can BBQ while enjoy the water at the pool. Been coming straight for 2 summers in a row, at least 5 times last summer. Highly recommend.

This hotel is in a great location, just a short walk from the boardwalk. The pool is large and very well maintained. I accidentally left my suitcase behind, and the owner kindly recovered and kept it safe until I could return--something I really appreciated. While some reviews mention the hotel could use a few updates, it was a great fit for me and my family. We also felt secure thanks to the onsite security.

Please for the love of God believe these reviews ! Yes it’s close to the beach , but no it is not worth any money to be staying here ! I arrived and immediately check my room like always because who dosent , and there were bed bug droppings and room was dirty . The bed was clearly dirty with a used condom underneath the bed ! I have videos and pictures. They put us in another room me my 2 children and husband and the new room had a ceiling that was falling apart and curtain were cut in all different sizes . The shower curtain was clearly dirty as well . We didn’t stay even 16 hrs we went back home to PA . Also parking arrangements was insane , you get parked in and they call you bang on room door to move your car . I should have believed the comments before booking ! Through Priceline tried to get a refund , a used condom is completely unacceptable, there is a possibility for disease transmission here especially with my children . I was given a 60$ refund when my total stay for 2 nights is 462$ . That’s definitely not advocating for customer s . Please don’t waste your money just look else where ! I’m not being bitter just honest .

i mean.. atleast its a room? The sheets had holes in them and felt like plastic. The tv reminded me of a ring video door bell. The pool was fun and clean. Only took the elevator once because of how weird it felt. The view on top though was great.

Rooms are dirty as hell. Staff are lazy clearly lol cause the rooms are dirty. Not swept and the bed spread does not get changed at all in between guests. You’re lucky if you get new sheets. It was very close to the beach so very convenient and the pool was the nicest/ cleanest thing there. Their parking lot is a joke.

This is an amazing place, there is a lot of space for 6 people, with kitchen and a big living room to have a great time! Just minutes away from the seaside board walk! The staff especially Rick, is great and patient with customers. I 100% recommend this place to have a great time with family or friends!

The first thing that struck me when I walked up to the motel was the armed security. There were 3 of them. No clue why. The person who works at the front desk was yelling at everyone. No instructions on where to find your room. Making fun of guests for “forgetting” their license and room key, mind you they were hidden behind the desk and she never gave them back. The “ice machine” was literally a cooler in the office. You had to help yourself to extra towels in the laundry room. The hallways are extremely narrow. The room is disgusting. We kept our shoes on the entire time. Even showered with flip flops. The beds were so uncomfortable as were the 1 pillow/person allotted. The pullout couch doesn’t exist. The toilet was cracked in half. The door to the room was impossible to lock. The air conditioner did not actually cool the room off. It’s not like it’s dirt cheap to stay here. They really need to start putting some money back into the motel.

MAKE SURE TO LOOK AT MY DISGUSTING PHOTOS. Most disgusting motel I’ve ever been too. Pretty sure someone was ☠️ on the pull out, so we were moved to another room which wasn’t much better. The bathroom smelled like old urine, floors were filthy, shower had someone else’s hair on the walls, bed was falling apart and sunken in on one side and part of the end table was broken. The curtains were torn and tattered and the bedding was stained and musty smelling.

For the cost of a room ($728 for 3 nights) I truly expected better. The sheets and pillows had horrible stains. The floors were dirty, mold in the shower, broken doors, found used deodorant in the drawer, blinds broken, remote broken, pull out couch cushions FILTHY, people lurking about, others looking like they lived there, room FULL of flies, pool not open til 9 or 10 (staff said they open it when the get around to it) and closed by 8pm. Couldn’t pay me to stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Skyview Manor Motel in Seaside Heights and rented a two-bedroom apartment. Overall, my experience was a mix of highs and lows, but the exceptional customer service made up for the few shortcomings. Firstly, the rooms were not the best. The beds were quite squishy, and any slight movement caused the bed to shift, which was a bit uncomfortable. Additionally, I noticed stains on some of the bedsheets and pillowcases, and the toilet was not as clean as I would have liked. However, as soon as I contacted housekeeping and management about these issues, they were resolved promptly. The staff was incredibly responsive and courteous, ensuring that my concerns were addressed quickly. One improvement I wish the motel would consider is offering breakfast. It would have been fantastic to have this option available. Despite this, the pricing of the motel was very reasonable, and I found it to be a great value for the money. Another highlight was the flexible checkout time; although the standard checkout is 10 am, the manager kindly accommodated my request to stay until 8 pm, which was excellent and allowed me to enjoy my time in Seaside Heights even more. The pool was great but it was bit dirty, due to sand and dirt which is understandable because it is near the beach. The location of Skyview Manor Motel is a major plus. The nearby beach and boardwalk made the stay ten times better, providing easy access to the beautiful coastline and lively attractions. I also felt very secure parking my vehicle here, as they provided parking permits and multiple parking lot options. While one of the parking spaces was a bit tight, the others were more spacious and convenient. In summary, Skyview Manor Motel offers great customer service and a prime location near the beach and boardwalk. Although there were some issues with the room's cleanliness and bed comfort, the staff's responsiveness and the excellent pricing made the overall experience enjoyable. I would recommend this motel to others, especially for the value and the fantastic customer service.

We are not picky people. We travel in a truck. So we got there and the guy at the front was nice. Told us to park in the back parking lot. Spaces are very small and very limited. Which was okay til we had to leave and didn’t think we would be able to get out because of other guest not knowing how to park! Pool was big and clean! Great location to the boardwalk. Now the room….mold on the shower curtain and under the sink! One of the beds had cigarette holes on the comforter. The curtains did not cover the whole window. The pillows are very flat. If the ac kicked off you could hear everyone partying til 5am. Comforter is very thin.

The rooms still need some remodeling sink didn't work properly paint over the sink and tubs where so clean towels had hair in it some one please check laundry or drier microwave needs to be replaced. the attendant was very helpful sweet and kind he tries very hard to please ? blessings success to this place I wish them the best..affordable stay and close to the beach

The rooms are dirty, the beds are on wood, the a.c. barely works, the table in the room has screws drilled into the top haphazardly, the pillows and blankets are terrible. The pool is nice and clean and the service is great. I asked to switch my room 3 times because of the rooms being dirty or having gnats and they didn't give me a problem and were really nice. When I got to my room I decided to clean it myself. Prime location, great service, nice pool, but the rooms are gross and the t.v.s have a really poor connection. Oh, and the parking is absolutely terrible!!!!

The good: The guys at the desk were very friendly and welcoming. They upgraded our room without being asked (I wouldn't have asked either). The location is amazing to the boardwalk. Despite our immediate anxiety upon walking into the room, there were no signs of bug trouble. The room was adequate for sleeping despite our trepidation. The AC worked well. They proved shampoo and hand soaps. The bad and ugly: Oh man... you guys need to do some serious upgrades. Our room didn't have enough lighting or places to hang wet clothes and towels. Please for the love of whatever God you believe in...Invest in a pressure washer and clean up those stairs and side walks. Whatever you clean with, please pick better. The room had an overwhelming odor when we walked in. After using a bathroom on the board walk, I matched the smell. So it must be the same disinfectant. Bleach or IPA would far surpase the smell of whatever they currently use. The shower: still not convinced it wasn't a blood splatter in the shower curtain. All the tile in the bathroom and shower had a brown residue dripped/dried on, so my guess is the cleaning solution is allowed to dwell. It makes it look much less clean than it is. The door locked worked, but we could see light coming through the door jam. I realize these may seem like picky comments. They are not intended to be. I would love to see this business succeed and help usher in a renewed Seaside Heights. Apply for grants, make some investments. This place could be great. Overall, we got what we paid for. It was well priced for a Friday/Saturday night stay. In the motel's current condition, I would not choose to stay here again. I wish them the best and genuinely hope this place revitalizes.

This motel is a you get what you pay for. The room was outdated and had a funky smell. Everything about the room needed some fixing. I didn’t know if there was mold or if the ceiling was just dirty. The towels were full of hair. Outlet had no cover. Sheets and pull out couch were dirty. Location is the only good thing.

This place is disgusting. Absolutely rank.... DONT GO HERE!!!!! As soon as we walked in it smelled like cheap cleaner and stunk up the whole room. The beds were so musty and had stains all over the head board. The bathroom, ew. The shower curtain had blood stains , and i wouldve rather showered anywhere else. More things like the drawers out of place, gross couch, one tiny broken table. Just so nasty. We requested a room change immediately and we're left with the same atrocious results. So, we left not even 5 minutes there. The service were cooperative but didn't comply to our requests. All the location is pretty ideal, it is not worth any penny and it is ultimately the most nauseating room ever... IM WARNING YOU, DO NOT GO HERE. This place should be shut down , ew just ew

Honestly this motel was DISGUSTING ?!!! I don’t usually leave bad reviews , but wow. So no one cleaned our room at all. There were hair balls in the tub , the fridge smelled horrible and was moldy. The floors were dirty .. everything was just so gross. I cleaned the room myself !!! The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the manager was nice and the price is great for seaside area.

I was so upset walking into this room. We had our children with us one of them being a crawler. Seeing how the room looked I didn't want to put her on the ground being that it was a popular weekend. I tried to call other hotels, tried Wildwood but everything was booked. We ended up switching rooms. We tried to make the best of it but it really ruined the beginning of our trip. The staff were so nice when we had to deal with them. This place needs to hire better cleaners because this is unacceptable as a business.

I don't understand the other reviews. The place is dirty, gross, buckled walls, bed was broken, doesn't look like the pictures at all. Unclean sheets on the sofa bed, dirty floors, no maid service. Definitely unclean. TV didn't work well either. Stairwells dirty and unsafe, lack of handrail. Children were not being supervised running up and down stairs and along balcony, parents nor staff did anything. Visitors smoking pot on balcony near pool, could smell throughout pool area where children and families were. Shower didn't work well, sink was dirty with toothpaste splatter on faucet. The room smelled horrible. More of a bad area of town vibe. After my stay I learned they have many issues with police presence.

It was cheap and a close walk to the beach, staff was nice and the pool was clean, beds where hard and the curtains where a bit sketchy. Shower head was not good and the water did not drain very well. No bugs at all just a bit of dirt no bad smell. Place was safe no one bothered us and at the end of the day when your coming back drunk the room Doesn’t really matter!

The staff and manager are nice and understanding. Good rooms for a couple of nights. The beds were nice and comfy. I was there for the weekend. The smoke detector was beeping at one point told them about it. They sent maintenance to check it out. When we got back to the room it stop making noise . They were so nice about something being wrong . I would recommend staying here.

So there were no bugs but the bathroom and baseboards and walls and doors were filthy. It smelled of pot but it’s Jersey. The guys at the desk was very nice. They let us check in at 10am instead of 2pm. There were two king beds and a sofa bed there were 4 kids and 4 adults. It was a block from the boardwalk which was nice. It definitely was not worth $400 for one night. Will I stay there again probably not unless I am desperate

Alex and Sam run a great hotel!! We have been staying at the Sky View for over 10 years now. We come every summer and will continue to do so. All of the staff is very accommodating and helpful. There is free parking, a great pool, clean towels every day and the best thing of all is that it is 1 block off of the boardwalk!! Our room is always cleaned right before we go in and the updates to the rooms are great! If you are looking for a nice and cost effective way to have a great vacation this is the place to go!! While you are in seaside don't forget to try Park Bakery, Klee's, 3 Brothers, Steaks Unlimited and Spicy's!!
