The guys at JP auto are simply the best around. Not only did Chris help me identify some key misdiagnoses from a separate shop which saved us money, but he also got some additional work done under warranty for us. Appreciate these guys every time!!!
I have been a loyal customer of Jim's for decades now and have also come to count him as a trusted friend. He is expert in his craft. He has taken care of our auto repairs and maintenance for both our regular vehicles and special interest cars for a very long time. His prices are honest, his diagnostic work is top notch, and he is 100% trustworthy to keep us on the road - safely - and with zero need to come back for any rework. If I could give JP Auto Service six stars, I would do so. Friendly, approachable and top-quality work at fair prices. Not to mention he is a genuine "car guy" and very supportive of the collector car hobbyists. Five stars well earned!

The best group of mechanics in the area. Everyone in that garage is honest, helpful, and want to get you safely back on the road. I have gone to them for 3 of my vehicles now and will continue for all of my future rides. When you bring your vehicle in, they take their time to explain to you what's going on and any options. They are great, and with more and more people finding out about them, I just hope I can get on their schedule. :)

I've used more than 6 other mechanics in this area. None of them are consistently equal to, nor better than JP Auto. Others always start great, but then push prices and services you don't need. JP Auto tells you what you need, what you should consider for the future, and more importantly what you don't need.
They are conscience of price and affordability, without ever jeopardizing service.
I'm so confident they're better than the other mechanics around that I've referred no less than 9 others and they've agreed allnhave switched to JP Auto.

2011 Jeep Sahara 155k miles:
The mystery was solved! Two mechanics could not finish or solve the failure of cylinder 2,4 and 6 misfire. Left bank was coding and causing my Jeep to shake, exhaust heavy fuel to the point I was going to pass out and then lost heat. Two other local mechanics did not want to take my Jeep in, fearing the labor intensity and cost it can lead. With frustration, I felt defeated and looked into mechanic recommendations on THE NJ JEEP CLUB. I decided to go to JP Auto Service in Chester, NJ. I will never go anywhere else! Not only they have highly skilled technicians but their customer services put me at ease. I’d have to thank Jim Kenny for patiently explaining and updating me during the process. It turned out that my oxygen sensor was shot, causing failure and multiple codes. Thank you Jim and JP Auto!

My experience with JP auto was amazing. Extremely knowledgeable staff and super friendly. Hard to find a shop like them these days with out having to worry about it being done safely and correctly. Will be a repeat customer from now on.
Can not say enough about Jim from JP or his fellow mechanics that he works with. Quality work. Reasonable prices. And integrity, which unfortunately is tough to come by unless you happen to go to JP. I live 35 minutes away from his shop, pass by dozens of mechanics without blinking an eye because I know that my jeep will receive the best care at JP. Skip the rest, just go to the best.
I purchased a lifted Jeep April last year from a used dealer in Pennsylvania. Long story short, they refused to accept something was wrong with the Jeep while driving at higher speeds (couldn’t go over 55). After trying to work with other shops, I finally found JP Auto online in a Facebook group. They had extremely good recommendations and even though they were an hour from where I lived, I scheduled an appointment. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and were able to rebuild the rear end. It was night and day when I drove her home. This shop knows what they are doing and I will continue to use them for services, no matter how long I have to drive!
My Jeep needed a major service because at least one rocker arm went bad. It's a ton of work just getting to the parts in the engine - like open heart surgery for a car. Jim and the guys provided a comprehensive quote and stuck to it even when the job took longer than expected. My 125k mile 2013 Wrangler now runs like it's brand new. Thanks, guys.

Had some minor repairs needed to be done to my car and I was looking for somewhere new to go because every auto place I've gone to I've gotten screwed over & over charged- for similar minor fixes. My car broke down overheating on the side of the highway while I was almost 2 hours from home with my 6 babies with me. I was heading to a gas station when I saw this shop so I pulled in. Despite being busy, one gentleman took time and got my car working again for me free of charge. HE IS A GODSEND!
