I came across this beautiful Maxima. Allen was so patient and knowledgeable. Within a week he had the title, plates and the registration done. He even went above and beyond when I purchased a car I didn’t realize there was a ding in the windshield. As soon as I realized it, I called him and he told me to bring the car right in. My wife and I were looking for a vehicle on rt 88 as not finding a good place at first. Just when we were about to give up and go home. We have stopped at Woods auto. We were greated by Allen which was very friendly, not pushy to force you into a vehicle as some other places do, and he worked with us to find what we wanted as with the price. Allen was even able to find the best plan for us with a protection plan for the vehicle. If you or anyone you know is looking for the nicest sales person that will make you happier than when you first showed up to purchase a vehicle. It is highly recommend to go to Woods auto for your next used vehicle.
My wife and I recently bought a Nissan Sentra from Allen at Woods for my oldest son. Fast forward a few months later and the car still runs smooth and my son couldn't be happier. So far it's as good as advertised and the price was slightly below market value. Allen made the buying experience much less dreadful than most of our previous auto purchases with other dealers. Seems like a stand up guy, no BS. Very fair. I would give him a 5 and Woods Auto a 4 1/2 because of its $150 debit card fee, which was not Allen's fault. The place is a small old school dealership that can use a renovation but they have a good inventory of well priced cars (maybe that's why they are able to keep prices down).
Definitely recommend Woods auto Sales...I went there about a month ago and purchased a car. Complete professionalism. Experience was fantastic. I love my new car. It did have a issue with the ac and Alan handled everything. Definitely see Alan ! In the future if we need another car..I'm going to woods auto
Amazing customer service. I had some credit issues over the last few years and Allen was able to put me in the car I wanted. It was a buy here pay here. i did have a few issues with the car but Allen and the Woods team were able to fix the issues at no cost to me. I recently went back and purchased another car and am extremely happy. Thank you Allen and the Woods team. i will definitely recommend you to my friends and family!
They only sell lemons here, stay away. Car died before I could get out of the parking lot during the test drive and they said it never happened before, they actually drive it as their personal car. Started it up and engine died again
All the positive reviews are from fake accounts with only 1-2 reviews all at the same place
Working theory is that these boys intentionally have bad cars so people stay away and they can be all alone in the back. Guess we know why they named it woods
This place is terrible got a car feb 11th was told the car had an oil change and fluids was up to date come to find out the oil was dirty no collant nor antifreeze feb 12 they asked me to bring the car to place the tracker to also to fix the glove box Nd windshield wipers kept my car for 7 1/2 hrs lied said everything was fixed that they had to order a motor for the windshield that it will be there Monday . Monday comes not call so I call I get told be there Friday however Friday comes still not part then my bf called yesterday feb22 tells them we want a refund stay trying to fix things that’s where suppose to been fixed then not only that come to find out transmission is bad and Alan is very ignorant and unprofessional I would no recommend services here at all I seen better car dealerships then here . Being told not making it into a new car when work wasn’t even done to the car then today suppose to see the manger drove all the way there he not there and caught a flat tire out of nowhere lock thing not even in the car so I can’t even change the tire nor was it a spare tire in the trunk . They sell terrible cars they just want to collect money and make things sound good got a sold a lemon 4,000 something dollars worth of work that needs to be done I hope this place gets shut down they false advertising’s and rip people off been tryna return the car sense day 3 Alan is very disrespectful and Eric is never in the office but apparently is the manger
Terrible place less than 1 week after I got the car (brought outright by the way $5600 CASH) both front and back brakes went out with no warranty ! The driver headrest is broken. ALAN said he wasn’t doing anything else to the car he’s not trying no to make it into a brand new car. This is a 2013 Dodge Avenger. It’s gonna cost me $565 to get the brakes completely. Called to speak to the manager the manager never called me back. All they want is your money. The brakes didn’t sound like when I brought it. The car is beautiful but the people are unfair and unhelpful and useless. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM !

Me and my husband pulled in there to look around and gentleman came out to help us he wasn't pushy he asked us simple questions I'm but we will get to need the vehicle for and what our price range was he wasn't trying to sell us a car we couldn't afford so we gave him a thumbs up it was a really nice experience to go into a dealership and come out with a car and not feel like we got pushed into something we couldn't afford our that we were unhappy with so he was so very nice . My daughter is going to need a car soon and guess where we're going and everybody I know and talk to because I'm a barber I will recommend woods car dealership Lakewood New Jersey on route 88.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!. lie about everything just to get you to buy the car even if it’s not safe to drive. You will hate your self for buying from them i know i wish i seen the reviews before i went there... need to make a law about lying car dealers it’s so wrong.

This wouldn't get a star if it was an option. lowered the price to $6000 cool great right!? But not really paid $3000 right there.. Should be $3000 left? No been paying $190 for over a year and they told me I have $2830. How could this be I asked well they told me about all these fees but they should not equal up to three grand when it should be $700 left. I have a credit score of 800 est. and then they tell me they jacked my credit interest to 22%. Do NOT trust these people and don't do any business with this dealer.
Went in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted. After spending some time with the helpful staff, I realized that the car I wanted was not perfectly suited for me and they actually helped me pick out a more practical and affordable car (I know right!?). Great financing and have been loving it. They really seem to care about making you happy, not just taking your money. Have sent a couple friends to them and would recommend to anyone looking for a solid car at a great price.
I went to this dealership because my cousin, who also purchased a car from Woods Auto, had a great experience and told me that it was well worth the visit. I had a very quick and painless transaction with them as well. They were willing to sell me a Nissan Altima at a very inexpensive price, and I was out of there within an hour. The car runs extremely well and was exactly as described. As for the other two reviews, I only have this to say. It is indubitably apparent that the last several reviews were written by completely incompetent, unreasonable imbeciles. The man that wanted to purchase the Jaguar was clearly asking an unfair price for the car, and the salesman at the dealership was just trying his best to facilitate this, in all likelihood, near impossible request. As per all used cars, there are going to be some unavoidable and unforeseen complications. Needless to say, these issues were not the fault of a "terrible, terrible" company, as Jin Park so eloquently described, but rather the rare, unfortunate result of some used cars in general. At the end of the day, it is apparent that the dealership and its employees were just trying to bend over backwards to help out a customer.
What a terrible terrible place. Your stereotypical used car dealership. Had to drive over an hour to get to this place and called ahead of time to ask if there was anything wrong with the car before I made the drive and was told the car was in perfect shape. Car practically fell apart seconds after I got in it. Just kept telling me "wow the cars never done that before!". Wish they never get another sale again for wasting people's time.
They are nothing but a bunch of thieves at this dealership! It's clear that the highly rated review on here is written by them because it's a person from another country (Canada) who decided to buy a used car from them without ever seeing it and have it shipped to them. The whole cost of which would make it cheaper to buy a new car. My experience here was that of complete hell and it all started with a silver jaguar I saw online. I called Woods and spoke to the salesperson Bill about the jaguar online and he said it was still available and then I made him an offer 3k cheaper than their listing price and he said they couldn't do that so I said sorry that's all I had and then he said they'd make it work haha! He tells me he drives the car all the time and just took it to Atlantic city so I tell him I'd come down later to check out the car and he said he'd be waiting for me. When I arrive there the one other salesperson, Tom, tells me Bill is on lunch but gives me the key to the jaguar so I can take a look at it. I turn the key and the car starts beautifully and the A/C is ice cold. I notice that there's no inspection sticker and when I ask Tom he tells me it hasn't been inspected for some time. Odd because Bill told me he just took it to Atlantic city. Anyways I turn the car off and wait for Bill and watch him pull up in the driveway. We go out to check the car out again and when I try to turn the key the engine wont start. Bill lets out a chuckle and says he drove the car last night and that he's always accidentally leaving the interior lights on and so the car wont start because the batteries dead. Unaware that I had already started the car before when he was on lunch, I tell him and he simply shrugs it off and says it's never happened before and changes the subject. He jumps the battery and the car starts again. We go in and he shows me the carfax which is clean but upon taking a second look at it I notice that they've had the car for a year. Odd for any used car to not be sold that long but it explained the lack of an inspection sticker. Excited to be purchasing my dream car I allow them to charge my credit card and they put all the paperwork in front of me. Right before I sign anything my gut tells me to try to start the car again and I go out with Bill and Tom and the car wont start. I tell them I don't want the car and they show me another similar jaguar they have and that they'd give me it for the same price. They give me the keys and I'm not even halfway out the parking spot when the car just stalls out. At this point I just decide to go home and over the next couple days I have Bill calling me and sending me emails to come check out the car again and everything that happened was just a fluke and their mechanic could explain everything when I got there. I ignore him until I take a look at my bank statement and realize they never refunded my credit card for the total price of the car they took out. I email Bill that they never cancelled the transaction and that I never signed anything so I'd like my money back and I never heard from him again. It's currently a month after I've disputed the transaction with my bank and it looks like they're giving my bank a hard time as well because I still don't have my money back and I advise everyone to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS POSSIBLE. Both cars are still available on their website and I expect them to be up there for a long time.
