If you’ve ever had the zechus of discovering a flat tire in Lakewood — usually at the worst possible moment (late for carpool, late for Mincha, late for literally anything) — then you already know the first phone call is not your mechanic, not your father-in-law, and not your neighbor with “all the tools.”
Nope. It’s Retired Auto.
This place is the definition of honest, heimish, straight-to-the-point tire rescue. No dramatic speeches, no upselling, no “well actually, your entire car needs to be replaced.” Just a guy who looks at your tire, nods, and boom — five minutes later you’re back on the road like nothing ever happened.
My experience: Pulled in with a tire so flat it looked like it had given up on life. Before I even finished saying “Hi,” they already had the car jacked up. I didn’t even get to open my Waze to see how long this would take — they were DONE. Fastest mitzvah I ever saw performed on an automobile.
Prices: So reasonable I had to double-check if I was in Lakewood or some alternate universe where tire repairs aren’t a major financial decision.
Service: Friendly, chill, no-nonsense. The kind of place where they don’t waste time talking — they just fix your tire while you're still standing there wondering how your day fell apart in the first place.
Vibes: Old-school. Simple. Zero fancy decor, zero marketing slogans, just pure tire-fixing greatness. If you’re looking for a lounge, WiFi, or kombucha on tap — this is not that kind of establishment. If you’re looking to get your tire fixed before you even finish your Tehillim perek — this is your place.
Bottom line: If you live in Lakewood and haven’t been here yet… give it time. Your tire will eventually introduce you.
Highly recommend — may you not need them often, but when you do, they’re mamash the best.
Quick service was in and out to get a patch in 2 minutes. They are also very honest I’ve come in the past and they’ve told me that the wheel is fine and sent me on my way.
Honest, Fast, Reliable. I went in thinking I would need a whole new tire, dude told patched me up for like 8 bucks and i was out of there in like 5 minuets.
This is an amazing tire shop. Real honest service. They will tell you not to change a tire if you don't need to. I have never been upsold anything. They will give you their honest opinion even if they will lose business for doing so
All around terrible experience. The guy made my wife feel terrible and went out of his way to be as difficult as possible. He was sarcastic and rude and I think may have lied about the price as well.
SUPER fast service. Workers were friendly. Great prices. No appointment needed, just pull up and they get to work. Seriously impressed with how quick and efficient these guys were. Needed a tire taken off one rim and put onto a new one...was in and out in less than 10 minutes, for $20.
They provide very quick and honest service. They give you multiple options and they do it quickly and effectively. It is probably the best tire service in the area would highly recommend. Probably the only place with Jews you should trust.
