Jims is the place for a fair deal. I looked at a car from them and the very same car Lester Glenn had it for 5 thousand dollars more. Same year and milage. This place is no joke it is Lakehurst NJ best kept secret but if you ride by it and pull in you will be embraced by nothing but honest father daughter team who are not looking to rip you off. Your happiness is of their utmost concern even if something unexpected pops up. I have never seen a dealership operate quit like this where they actually get a joy out of you being HAPPY ! And their biggest business is a repeat client base that goes back to them because you would never go back to a place that just wanted to stick you in something that you have nothing but problems with. My husband and I both purchased cars from Jim recently. We had a great experience from start to finish. Jim and his daughter were so helpful and honest. They gave us time to look at the stock and didn't bombard and hover like the typical dealerships. His prices are fair and reasonable. My husband and I are so happy with the cars we chose and even happier we chose to go to Jim. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a good, quality vehicle for a reasonable price.

OMG i got a good car decent price, but it took him almost 2 months to get my tags and my title from DMV. So I had to drive with a temp tag that was expired April 8th and I just got the tags last week Go figure

My 73 yo mother purchased a 2019 Ford in September. She drove it home and parked in garage 2 days later when she pulled out there was fluid all over the ground. She went back to Jim and he had her take the car to two different places to repair some leaks on her transmission. She was told it was repaired, and received documentation of what was done. Yet, within 3 months the car stopped driving and she took it to a Ford dealer, they said the transmission was completely shot, it had metal flakes in the fluids, and that someone had filled all the leaky gaskets and holes with spray foam. The entire transmission needed to be replaced for $8k It was 3 days before her 3 month warranty ran out and the warranty company wouldn’t pay for a used transmission replacement or for a new one. They said dealerships do that all the time, sell cars with problems and bandage them up and then let the warranty people cover the problems. We had to beg the warranty inspector and eventually they paid for the value of a used transmission and my mom had to pay $5k, which is a sour pill to swallow after paying $12k for a car 3 months prior and being told it was repaired. The guy who “repaired” the car was Jim’s contact, and he was in direct contact with him to arrange the service, so I have no idea how this kind of spray foam technique was approved or agreed upon but it doesn’t feel like good business practice to me. Additionally I later found out that with this kind of Ford, only a Ford dealer can access the transmission with a special key so the kind of transmission service she needed initially could only be done by a Ford dealer. So the guy she was sent to never could have repaired the transmission to begin with. My mother felt completely victimized and devastated. What annoys me about this is my mom told Jim to either fix her car or let her change it for a new one. If repairing the car properly wasn’t worth it to him, why not just swap the car out for another then, so she could have a reliable and safe vehicle? EDIT: In reply to Jim’s response - she never went to Ford until the car stopped working in December. She took it to Halls and they said they couldn’t determine if it was repaired because only a Ford dealer can access the transmission. How can you say the car wasn’t leaking when she left the lot but after driving 2 miles home and parking it for 2 days, a lot of fluid was leaking out of it? Regardless, your repair guy “repaired” her leaking transmission, which when Ford opened it up, they told us and showed us video evidence that it had been filled up with foam glue and that should never have been done. That’s what they said not me. And if that’s true then your guy’s repair was not an honest one. I just read her review - and I’m not throwing her cancer around. What I am saying is she’s elderly, has limited funds, and paid 12k for a car that according to you was repaired, and it was not, which led her to having to pay out of pocket so almost half of what she paid for it. The fact that you refuse to take any responsibility for knowing about the “temporary fix” repair and then make accusations blaming her for “using her cancer” is really deplorable. And the reason I’m leaving a review is because I’m the one who had to call the warranty company. This happened while she was visiting me overseas, and I had to help her with deciding what to do via Ford. I’m the one who sat on the phone with the warranty people so I know what they told me, and I know what Steve at Ford told me so I don’t know what you’re talking about. And the warranty company said to ME they would not replace the transmission because the warranty was expiring in 3 days and Ford could not order and install the replacement within the 3 days. That’s what they told me. They also told me there’s no point contacting you about it because you’d point to the warranty. And for the record she never took it to Ford before the transmission blew this was a total shock for her.

I went to Jim's Auto Sales yesterday because I have been eyeing a car that had been on their lot. Jim and Patti were awesome. They were both so nice and talking with them reminded me of my family, all we did was laugh. Everything with the car was done so fast and I didn't feel pressured at all. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a car! Thank you both for all your help and being so nice!!

We just purchased a car here today and we have never had such a quick and easy process buying a car before. It only took like an hour before we were driving off the lot with it. Both the owner and his girlfriend were so nice to us and it was such a nice experience. I will definitely be recommending this place to anyone I know looking for a car.

My experience with the dealership has been amazing. They have went above and beyond to make sure I got the car that I want it, and that I was happy with the finance. They even made it so that my payments were affordable right where I wanted them. And did not try to change my mind about anything I was always to be able to contact someone at all times. And everybody that I have contacted have always been so nice and generous and always willing to help me with anything and explained everything in details to me my husband I definitely will Them out to my friends and family and also coworkers as well. If you've decided to buy a used car (yes, used cars are used and not new, just a fact of life) try this place out first. I've been to name brand auto sales where they pressure you to buy something much more expensive than the car you wanted to look at. They drag things out forever and when you finally find what you want, they tag on endless fees. Sort of like buying a hambuger and find a cooking surcharge on the bill. This doesn't happen here. The car has a reasonable price and then the State of New Jersey takes what it wants. These people are cordial, informative, friendly and NO PRESSURE. I just bought my second car from Jim's (I drove the hell out of the last one, it served me well, and it was time to move on) and I couldn't be happier. The entire transaction was smooth, they took care of the registration and plates for me. There was a known issue with a broken antenna which Jim handled within a day. Oh, and Patti printed out the Carfax for me as soon as I got there to look at the car. I very much appreciated all the attention and service. I highly recommend Jim's. Great website too. Nice, simple, lots of photos, and informative.

I love how they deleted their rant (that I still have a screenshot of) that they posted a couple months ago and change it to me “low balling” them. We asked politely could you fix the tires if possible and there was always an excuse! Please don’t come on here 3 months later changing your RANT to something else. The lady was very ok but it just wasn’t professional. If your gonna tell it, TELL THE TRUTH :)

Jimmy and Patti really helped me out in a jam. I had recently had my car totaled and needed a replacement quick. I thought I'd be going to lot after lot looking for something in great shape but affordable. Not only were there vehicles in great condition, but were very reasonably priced. They really took the stress out of buying.

Bad experience at this dealership. I bought a truck at this dealership. The seller told me that there was nothing wrong with the truck. So when I took the truck home i realized one headlight wasnt working. He knew that it had an electrical problem. So when I called him to let him know the truck had an electrical problem he started to answer me in a rude way and blaming it on me and saying it didnt have a problem. So I took the truck to the chevrolet service.The truck had a problem that I had to fix.The truck performed required diagnostics to isolated failure replaced under hood fuse block and removed aftermarket alarm system. I end up paying $900 at the dealership. I Just dont like the honesty of this dealer.

Purchased a 2014 Nissan sedan. The front bumper kept popping out. Jim sent me quickly to a auto repairs. Fixed and no charge to me. Front axle seal had slow leak.. No problem, took 300 off the purchase price. I'm missing a small pop off part that goes near window. Patty is getting it. Once I get that I will give this 5 star's. Thank you Lisa, Jim and Patty! All in all its a good place with good people.

I came here to rent a U-haul truck since they are a third party for them, and it was a relatively neat lot. The only thing I wouldve changed is how the trucks were parked. When I went to pull out I had to really squeeze between two other bigger trucks, just to get mine out of its parking spot. I didnt have a problem retrieving my key. On a side note there are beautiful cars in the lot for sale and there was enough space to maneuver between the rows of vehicles comfortably.

We just bought an awesome car from Jim today. Prices were great and Jim helped us with our registration so we didn't even have to go to the DMV. Lisa and Jim were both very inviting and kind. We noticed the car we wanted had broken windshield wipers and he replaced them for free for us. Very helpful all together for our first car buying experience.
