Great quick service to remove a screw from my tire. Excellent!

BEWARE of their flat bed trucks driving on the roadways. Their drivers have ZERO consideration for other vehicles on the road. I experienced that first hand today. Cutting me off pushing me into the shoulder of the road. I was in the far right lane on Rt72W , the lane to get onto the parkway north, in traffic being summertime and with zero regard just turns into my lane causing me onto the shoulder to prevent him hitting me. This driver being local to the area and wanting to get on the parkway north shouldn't have been in the middle lane anyway!! For your own safety choose a different company.

Picked up a screw near the bridge and it became a slow leak. They took us right away and got us out quickly with a very fair price. Thank you!

Went in to get an oil change told them to check fluids I needed breaks rotors and they quoted me $2600 when I called another place who would do it for under 1200 Then was told on the phone oil change would be 250-300 I gave them the ok and he called me back saying it’s done and it’s now $500 didn’t give me the keys till it was paid… Talk about a rip off I do not trust them scammers I do not recommended going to them they are to over priced and don’t stand behind their word never again will I use them and telling Eveyome about this

Tried charging $43 and change for a tire plug. Everywhere else in NJ is $26. When questioned, blamed "the guy in the White House" (Biden). ODells was five minutes away charges $26 ($17 less), same president. UnderToe, cool name, uncool gouging.

Undertow made is super easy for me by replacing my car battery at my home with no fuss or extortion. It’s refreshing to deal with pleasant people. Surprisingly pleasant given the heat 💦

My truck decided to lock itself with my keys on the front seat. I called and was given a very fair price. They had the truck open in about an hour from when I called. Thank you!

Honest hard working shop. Had several repairs done on a older LBI beach buggy. They were able to take on the job with typical undercarriage rust. Not a problem for these Pros. Work was done in a timely manner.

We drove to LBI from New York state. We noticed a strange vibration at high speed. We brought the car to undertoe who quickly diagnosed a bulge in the rear passenger tire from a poor repair of a flat 2 weeks previously. A new tire was offered. The tire was put on and we are able to enjoy the rest of our vacation here. I highly recommend undertoe for service, professionalism and friendliness. Thank you for taking a big weight off my shoulders regarding our trip back home

I had a new tire that was losing air. I thought I had bent the rim. The nice service tech removed the tire, checked the rim (it was ok) and found a nail! Which he removed and plugged. He was very nice and treated me kindly, and it only took about 15 minutes!

We had a nail in our tire & inquired if they would be able to help us. They were very polite and respectful and took us right away. They were able to quickly plug the tire & sent us on our way to enjoy our beach day. We appreciate their prompt service!

Horrible, crooks! Charged $32 to look at my new tire & tell me it couldn’t be plugged & I needed a new tire. Not just that! That I should replace the other front one which is also a new tire & there was nothing wrong with that one! Do not go here! They can’t be trusted. I then took my car to Goodyear after putting air in the tire & they charged me nothing! No $32 to look at the tire. Goodyear said since I have a BMW the car needs a certain tire for the all-wheel to work correctly. Which Undertoe apparently didn’t care or didn’t know. Goodyear sent me to Mavis where I ultimately got the tire I needed and the other front one was 100% fine.

If I could give this zero stars I would....My father who just spent $350 on a new tire also picked me up a new bulb for my car, which they charged $32!!! My husband had also just picked up the same part for me from Beach Haven Auto Parts for $12.99, they were very friendly.......So I went back to Undertoe to return the $32 bulb and Mark was EXTREMELY RUDE!!! The entire return process took less than 3 minutes and he acted as if it took the entire day......he walked to his desk to get the cash which he then tossed at me........I would never ever go back to this place.....would not recommend and now reading some other reviews I see other people had very similar experiences........his attitude was totally uncalled for.

Very unprofessional. They Tried to turn a 5 minute job into an all day event. All I wanted was a check engine light scanned and they told me leave it for a day or more with attitude. Not how a paying customer should be treated. Would not recommend if your looking for a trustworthy mechanic with good value

Heads up, prices are fair, but absolutely no sense of urgency. We brought a flat to him Tuesday morning, told us he’d have a tire Friday, Friday….no tire in sight. Not even ordered.

The response to the AAA call took almost twice as long as they said it was going to take from 50 minutes to about 100 minutes. The driver who came to jumpstart my car battery, and tried to con me into thinking my battery was basically dead, and that I should purchase a new battery. When he initially jumped it, he remove the cable immediately and the battery died. Then when he jumped it a second time and left the battery charger connected, the battery ran fine. His tester gave him some “fictional” result that my battery had about a 50-50 chance of not starting again due to the amount of voltage/amps it was showing on his tester. Total BS. He just wanted to sell me a new battery. And the battery I have is not that old. The battery was fine once I drove the car and it recharged.

I called to inquire about their tire replacement service and to make sure a tire for my vehicle was in stock. The man who i spoke with was very rude, short, and condescending. He made me feel like i was causing him quite the inconvenience by making sure he was able to service my car before i drove 20mi on a donut tire. Was pretty surprised how i was treated considering i was trying to give him business. I ended up going to Costco which was a further drive, but the staff was eager to help, i saved money, and the experience was much better. Would not recommend based on the lack of professionalism and courtesy.

Needed the oil changed but was aware the car needed more care. The team was quick, called me with all of their recommendations, pricing etc., and the car was done within a few hours. Price was very fair and much lower than I’d expect on the island.

Went here last summer to get my tire plugged. Stopped in without an appointment and they fixed it right then. I had to wait about 15 minutes for them to finish up with another customer but it only took them 10 minutes to fix my tire. Very friendly people.

Single the worst repair shop I’ve ever had the displeasure of working with; dropped my car off because the bumper was detached. Ended up with a overpriced bill; and the employees screaming at me and my mother. After requesting to speak with the owner, the employees claimed he wouldn’t be back for 30 minutes to an hour. We left a number for the owner to call, and when he did he proceeded to berate and scream at my mother after claiming we abused his employees. If your looking for work on your car go literally anywhere but here. 10/10 would never go back for service.

I was in a tough spot with an overheated car on Saturday on my way off the island after a week at the beach. I was with my 5 year old and had nowhere to stay (everywhere within a two hour radius was booked), and was looking for help replacing a belt. I barely made it to the shop and stopped in to ask for help and the owner seemed immediately put out and annoyed at me for even asking, and sent me away to another shop that is closed on the weekend. On the way from there my car broke down and I ended up needing a tow. I called AAA and was told Undertoe was the only towing company working in the area. I was quoted 3 hours but it ended up taking 6 to get the tow truck to us, with no status updates and multiple calls to AAA in the meantime. My son and I were almost stranded and were it not for the kindness of the second shop we ended up at who stayed late to help us out, we would have had to sleep in our car that night. It was a nightmare, and I still can't quite understand the attitude and rudeness I received from the owner at Undertoe. I would avoid at all costs.

Called AAA bc my car wouldn't start. They dispatched Undertow Service Center to my home within 30 minutes. AJay and Craig checked my car out, determined the problem and had it started within minutes. They were both extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. Thanks

I’ve been using Undertoe for my car servicing for years. I have always appreciated Mark and his team mechanical capabilities and customer service. Several times he offered creative solutions for for solving an issue that saved me money. I often would save routine car service for when I was on the island and again very pleased with the service, value and timely ness of repairs. Recently I had to use Untertoe’s towing service. The toe truck operator AJ went out of his way to provide assistance, make me comfortable during a terrible storm and drove me a very long way to drop off my car. I highly recommend Mark and his team!

I had to get my truck towed today which had been sitting at a friends house. I called Triple AAA and then dispatched Undertoe! I was hoping to have them come out, because I had them come out before and they were on point. Ajay was there within 30 minutes and then I realized a left my key at my house. I called an friend and she brought it down quickly. Most companies would have peaced and left, but not this time. Ajay and I quickly struck up a conversation as we waited and thank god she was there in 15. Then he took care of business. Thanks Ajay for making a potentially bad situation great, I appreciate it! Had a great experience, definitely nothing like the rest of the reviews on here. I had a flat tire and no spare. The rime was broken and unrepairable on location. So I called UnderToe Service Centrdeal to see if they could tow me to the nearest dealership. I was surprised at how fast the response time was being that it was only 7 am. So the tow guy gets out with a warm smile and assured me he could help. With a warm smile and a clean hand shake he introduced himself and had me sit in the truck to stay out of the cold rain. It took all of 10 minutes for A-Jay to attach my car to the pully thingy and away we went. We arrived at the dealership within 30 minutes and I was on my way to work by 8:30am which was great. Over all I had a great experience, the price was fair and the service was excellent. The truck was clean and the driver was sincere and friendly. I would definitely recommend UnderToe if your ever in a jam. Thanks again Ajay !

Don't go there, he will rip you off and he smiles when he does it. I had a transmission line leak which was at a spot very easy to fix and he charged me over $300.00 to fix it. The repair consisted of cutting both transmission lines and adding a high pressure hose with 4 hose clamps, his total time to repair it at most would have been 20 minutes. DON'T GO THERE FOR ANYTHING!!!

I went here strictly because of the convenience, but had heard that this shop was not good. I took my car because it was overheating. He said my antifreeze was low and that he filled it, and car was fine. A week later I am having the same issue. Not only that, I opened my hood to put more antifreeze in and he broke half of the caps holding the plastic protector, the other half were missing. I'm not sure if he thought I wouldn't notice, or if he didn't care. Either way, do not go to this shop, even for something simple. trust me, you will be sorry.
