We had previously brought our car in for repairs and we had a great experience so once we got into an accident, it seemed that going back to C&L would be a great choice. However, there were significant delays and issues from start to finish. First, there was a delay of three additional days from the initially set pick up date to complete repairs (new driver's side mirror and side panel), which was acceptable as we wanted to make sure everything was fixed. However, similar to other reviews, we picked the car up with more issues. We noticed that the technician was not able to open the drivers side door from the outside when unlocked with the key remote. They stated that this was normal wear and tear and claimed they could not work on the car if insurance or we did not pay. We brought our car to the dealership and noticed that while the mirror was replaced, it would not close or open properly when the car was unlocked/locked. Next, the dealership instantly noted that the driver door handle was not properly installed as well. As we did not want to go back to CL East Hanover for repairs, the car was taken to CL Morristown where they claimed to have fixed the issue but we received the car with the same issue of the door not being able to open. All in all, we ended up having the car ultimately repaired at the dealership.

They do awesome work. A perfect job on my truck. Couldn't ask for a better job.

As it was covered in insurance of my car I informed them it was making noise after accident but I today received it’s still making noise same noise and the cost was overpriced but riding it feel same as it’s was before

BEWARE…not only did nothing line up when I picked up my car they also chipped the paint on my hood. When I asked the manager how a car even left his shop like this he said “most people won’t see or complain about that”

Terrible service. They waited for 2 weeks to start repairs on my car after I dropped it off. They originally told me it should take 1-2 weeks for a minor fender bender. After 3 weeks when we finally received our car back, there are issues with the alignment and a rumble when the car is driving. We never had this problem before sending them our car, but C&L claimed it wasn’t caused by their “repairs” and isn't their problem. Absolutely avoid this place.

While it wasn’t an ideal situation having to bring my truck to this body shop, the experience with the staff was excellent. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly and helpful, despite how demanding and stressful this line of work can be. They maintained a very customer-focused and positive attitude throughout. The guys in the shop were especially great. As I was clearing out my belongings from my truck (which was unfortunately totaled), they checked in on me several times and even helped remove items without me having to ask. I also had a few conversations with them about their jobs, and it was clear they enjoy what they do. From what I gathered, the person running the facility takes good care of their employees, and that really shows in the way they treat customers. If I ever find myself needing a body shop again, this will be the first place I go.

I don’t like front office staff, Grace’s, attitude via email. Communication from her was slow and I have an email for proof of her blatant rudeness. Excuse me for asking a question because I delivered Uber eats to you all and noticed you all stay on site after 4PM/ closing time. Pardon the heck outta me. I also don’t like the lack of communication from C&L to Progressive to help me with my total loss. I get the feeling if you’re not rich and can’t pay they don’t want to deal with you. Brown hair’d older women at the front desk was kind though on the day I finally came in to pick up my things out of my car. Not such a nice experience.

my truck was involved in a accident other car had insurance of progressive. With the claim progressive sent me at this auto body shop. I do not recommend this body shop they didn't do anything at all to the problem on my truck. They needed to repair the bumper the bumper that was damaged they didn't do no type of fix on it they put old screws on the bumper and it broke. When they finally gave me back my car it came back with electric issues. After not fixing my issues on my car they didn't even fix all the repairs that they needed to do with the insurance coverage I do not recommend this place at all you will leave with more problems.

Had a great experience with them, my car got hit at my apartment building & I was able to get in the next day to get my car fixed. They called enterprise for me so I had a car waiting there for me. They updated me frequently on the status of my car & everyone was super nice & helpful. My car looked as good as new when they finished.

Went here to have my car checked in accordance with an insurance task. Very unassuming large professional facility. Good reputation and reviews. Reliable. Zero issues.

Great people, great service, great building lol no seriously I have never seen an auto body service building look so amazing, luxuriously warm inviting. Especially the waiting area so accommodating, free beverage bar area with a huge window that over looks the VERY CLEAN and organized workshop. (where they actually work on the cars) Also I’m still in disbelief of how quickly they finished the work on my car and how INCREDIBLY nice everyone was. Thanks again guys

I was truly impressed!!! I walked in and the receptionist took my info in what felt like a second, I gave her my keys , meanwhile enterprise was there with my rent a car, as I went to get in the car I saw someone already working on my car!!! The next day they called me to let me know my car would be ready in the a m ,I couldn't believe it, I thought I would get stuck renting a car for a week. I went in the next day, they handed me my keys and my car looked great!!! Everything went sooo smoothly and everyone was so friendly and professional. I give this place a million stars!

C&L was assigned by GEICO , and they didn’t let me know I was gonna totally pay out of pocket, before they fix the car I didn’t get charging details. I have to call both to ask details, and for just fix the rim not replacing one, I get charged double price compare to other shops. Not to mention, afterwards, when I drove the car, the tire or front rims that changed was showed red on my monitor, I had to drive back right away, my car also never had problems starting, and now I have hard time start the car after their work, they totally messed up my car…only reason I have 2 stars is because their manager is giving me a comparatively detailed explanations….please do your research or comparison before you come in here!

I recently had the pleasure of working with C&L Auto Body, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! Ed and his team did an outstanding job on my car. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, ensuring that I was kept informed at every step of the way. Why would anyone go somewhere else??? I took my car there because a tree fell on it. Everyone was very helpful and efficient. Devin took excellent care of what was needed. They coordinated with enterprise car rental and before I knew it I was on my way home. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of car repairs.

Brought my car in for an insurance repair through progressive. My car had minimal damage to the front that the insurance would not cover but when i went to pick up the repairs done the mirror was misaligned still even worse than the accident. I called them over to my car and they still did mediocre work and it is still misaligned. The front damage that was light damage was drastically worse with the paint chipped off and a hole where there was none. I have pictures i sent to them and they are refusing to take responsibility even lying to the insurance company of the damage they caused my car. Now have a giant black spot under my headlight were there was none and mediocre work done to the side view mirror.

I would give zero stars if I could. My car went in for a very routine keying of the side door and it took them nearly 3 weeks. They are only open from from 8:00 to 4:00 to pick up your car which is impossible if you actually have a job and go to work to pay for your car. They are milking the rental car agencies for sure too . Thankfully I didn't have to rent a car but if I did I'd be ticked Wonder if they're getting a kick back from insurance companies. Bad customer service all around

I have used this shop several times, but I will not be using them anymore. The quality of the repairs are not as good as they used to be. I had $9,000 of work done recently, and the next day when I tried to start my car the battery was totally dead. It could not be jumped. C&L would not even reimburse the cost of the battery replacement despite the thousands of dollars of work.

Had front collision damage repaired a little while back. Upon picking up the car a bag of old/used loose clips and screws were in the glove compartment with me thinking that they replaced the old clips and screws with new ones( they were billed on the insurance estimate). Although paint looked good and body lines looked good. i am currently removing underhood covers to replace the engine air filter and headlight bulbs. I am now seeing loose moldings and weather stripping and also seeing no clips in any of the holes attaching the grille to the bumper. Dissapointed. Ive heard great things about c&l. Ive been in the auto industry a while and this is just poor workmanship. Now i have to spend money out of pocket for hardware the insurance company had already paid for. Also i am now seeing silver paint overspray on my black car. Now i have to clay bar the whole car to remove the overspray

I rear ended by other car, who had Geico insurance. This shop is Geico's preferred repair shop. I am glad that I selected C and L body for my car's repair. I have Mercedes Benz CLS400, and they used all OEM parts for the repair. From first day to the day I received the car back, I got text message update every couple of days with the status update. They finished the work few days before it was scheduled to complete. Entire staff was very cooperative and they did very good job on fixing my car. I would recommend this shop for autobody repair.

C&L is the most professional auto body shop I've had the pleasure to work with in my 35 years of driving! Patrice, Grace and Sam in the office were on top of answering all of my questions and Lou was very thorough in explaining the estimate of damages to me. I would highly recommend C&L for all of your auto body work required on your vehicles. Great job!

They never got back to me about getting rid of the headlight warning light, that I didn’t have before bringing my car to their shop.

My vehicle’s repair was promised to be done in 15 days. It’s been a month now and still not done. Every time I called to check on the status of the vehicle, I been told that the manger was at a conference and would call me back which never happened. The customer service is terrible and the office staffs are rude and have no courtesy or professionalism. Now I’m here paying out of pocket for the rental car since my insurance would pay for rental for only 30 days. Beware of this place. It looks like they get kick back from the rental places for extended rentals

The first job done with this shop was meh / barely passable and the second was abysmal. For job #1, panels were attached but not well aligned with adjacent panels. I also had paint on the wheel (unrelated to the body work being done) completely scratched off when I got the car back. For job #2, estimates were done late and incorrectly. Information I was providing via multiple phone calls and emails were not being conveyed to their estimator. I ended up towing the car out of there and bringing it to Plains Auto to do the work. (Note: If you have AAA, you can tow the car to another shop for free.) Plains Auto was professional and personable, did the work for significantly less cost than C&L's initial estimate, and despite me actively searching for flaws, their work was absolutely perfect. I recommend going to Plains Auto. Just leave a message or email if they don't pick up but ask for Angelo and he will completely take care of you.

They really were amazing. The staff was very professional and helped me every step of the way with the repair process. The time expectations were excellent and my car looked perfect after C&L fixed it. Highly recommend them overall!

The organization provided great repair job with OEM parts, however the customer service was not great and the quality control was weak. I had to go back twice to get small details fixed like the rear tail light not installed correctly. In addition, when they had to outsource the technical portion of the job to a dealership because they couldn't program the doors. I had to work around their schedule rather than them trying to be flexible for the customer. I would only recommend the repair shop if you want a professional factory-like finish. But, be prepared for poor customer service.
